We went here for my birthday dinner on Sunday night. The restaurant is pretty dark but it has a cozy, sensual vibe. The service was outstanding. The cocktails were good and they split the caesar salad for us which was also very good. For mains, we got the chicken parm and mushroom risotto. The chicken parm had a bone in it which we were not told until after the fact. Kind of off putting and a weird surprise. Otherwise, the portion was large but it was not anything special, just your typical chicken parm. The mushroom risotto was on the al dente side and the rice was a little crunchy without the saucy risotto vibe I was hoping for. It did not have much of a truffle flavor or any flavor. It was on the bland side (and we added cheese, salt and pepper). By that time, we did not want to order dessert, but they brought out a piece of tirmasu (my least favorite dessert, but not their fault) and sang happy birthday to me which they found out from the hostess. It was a nice attention to detail and they gave us limoncello shots on the house.
All in all, the service was great (minus the chicken bone) but the food is mediocre, definitely not worth the prices charged for basic Italian food. I probably would not run back there, but if I did, I would order completely differently.
Delicious Food. Good service and a great atmosphere.
Home Made Pasta! all the food is amazing. put the creative pasta dishes are so good. But even the standard spaghetti in a light red basil sauce is crazy good too!
Great food and service. They offered a price fixe menu that was reasonable and decent portions. My wife had the Caesar salad and Salmon I ordered the veal chop.
Excellent staff and food
Food was very $$$ for the quality
Service was not up to par had to ask for a menus 2 times. Had multiple servers and they didn’t what we ordered. No desert menus. People were walking around with no masks and staff didn’t say anything.
Terrific .prix fixe menu was a great deal . Tremendous chicken parm
Staff and ambiance was perfect, really enjoyed it. The taste/quality of the food was average at best and in my humble opinion, certainly not what I have come to expect for the price point. Taste and quality was underwhelming.
Very romantic atmosphere, excellent food and service!! Would recommend the Filet Mignon.
Covid compliant site, sat on side with good lighting.
Excellent service, thoroughly enjoyed salmon dish entre, our appetizer and dessert.
Definitely recommend and will return!
Wonderful service, very attentive and accommodating. Very good food and atmosphere, we felt very safe dining in the restaurant. We would eat here again.
Second time at Il Mulino and it was delicious. Greeting was exceptional and well as the staff.
Went for dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Food and service was amazing. We were recommended an off the menu dish that exceeded our expectations. We weren’t planning to order any dessert because we were already full from our 2 apps and main pasta dish. To our surprise they came out to greet my husband for his bday with a delicious piece of chocolate cake and the whole wait staff sang happy birthday to him. Definitely wasn’t expecting it since we didn’t order a dessert. Can’t wait to go back again
To dark in the main dining room but food was very good!
Absolutely fabulous. We were celebrating a milestone birthday for my husband and this was our first visit to the AC location.
I’d been to the nyc spot a while back and always loved this special place.
My husband and myself enjoyed a shrimp cocktail, shrimp fra Diablo and soup. And of course dessert and coffee. Excellent meal
Overall was a very good experience. We ordered off of the price fixe menu, but the regular menu seemed incredibly expensive and we eat at restaurants in AC all the time. The price fixe menu was very reasonable though and had lots of options. The food was really good. I had mussels to start and the red snapper franchaise. The fish was perfectly cooked. Portions were on the smaller side, especially the dessert, but this is to be expected when ordering from a 3 course price fixe menu. Overall is was definitely enough food I'm just a dessert person and would have liked a little more flour less chocolate cake because it was SO good lol.
Highly recommend! We were on a mini vacation and decided to try Il Mulino. We were not disappointed! Food was fabulous! Service was exceptional - staff was very attentive!
It was a delicious and non hurried experience. The lighting was fabulous.
The service, food, and atmosphere wS outstanding. PERFECT for a romantic dinner for 2.
The Food and Service was spectacular the quality was amazing. The Service Staff Dana was so friendly and nice we can’t wait to our next visit at this fine restaurant.
The quality was excellent and very delicious but very pricey !!
It was a quiet evening and the staff could not have been kinder or more attentive. The food was outstanding and the drinks were great...that banana bread cocktail...OH MY! And they were very accommodating with off-menu requests. Kind of pricey, but worth it for a special occasion!
Found the lighten in restaurant too low and the menus too light. Needed a flash light to read the menu. Everyone beyond that was excellent !
While I haven’t been to the flagship Il Mulino in NyC in quite some time my visits there as well as in the Aqualina in a Sunny Isles have mostly been pleasurable. Our main waiter had no personality. And while the assistant waitress was lovely it wasn’t enough to compensate for the awful food. The clams oreganato were bland. We asked for bread to dip in the sauce and none came. The pasta was better but not much better than a glorified pizza place. The veal chop was by far one of the worst ever. When I asked for coffee and dessert menu the coffee came out like mud and the dessert menu never came. Don’t waste your time or money at this place.
I had a special Seafood dish, and it was the best Seafood Italian dish I've ever had. The service was absolutely fantastic. This is an exceptional restaurant. Check it out !!
Our absolute favorite place to go! We've been there multiple times and NEVER have been disappointed. From the Staff, to the Service, to the food - all outstanding!
Always a fun time and enjoyable. I did however get sick. I do have a gluten allergy which I told the waiter . I'm not sure if there was gluten in the bolognese. But, everythng else was great! Having allergies are the hard thing about eating out.
Excellent experience and we will definitely be back
The food wasn’t that great for the price. Could’ve been better. My husband wanted the rack of lamb and after 20 minutes was told it was out of stock. So he had to pick something else. We were in the restaurant for 2 1/2 hours. That’s pretty long when your reservation is for 7:30 and you save your appetite. My chicken had no flavor. The arugula covered the entire chicken and was too much. Drinks were fantastic and our waiter was great!
I have been to il Mulino on several occasions.
This time was a little disappointed in the food. I ordered shrimp cocktail tbe shrimp was definitely overcooked. Then they called my fish Hollywood fish. It was halibut at 68 dollars for the plate over spinach. If I would not of ordered if I knew it was halibut
Food and service is excellent!!!
Great food and drinks! Definitely worth the visit.
Wonderful service and great atmosphere. Food was awesome as well. We will be back. Thank you!
Consistently great food and service !!
Atmosphere friendly and inviting...
The staff at the location was very friendly and courteous. The choice between the two ambiance was a very neat accommodation. The wait staff was very efficient and checked in often. One of the specials features lobster fettuccine with vodka sauce and was very tasty. The drinks we ordered were stronger than anticipated, but we had no complaints about that. Overall a great experience and would definitely visit again!
The restaurant experience was lackluster. The waiter seemed bothered by our presence, annoyed that we didn’t order appetizers and moved us along quickly. The food itself was bland, and overpriced. We were hoping for more, but got better food from the Hard Rock Cafe.
Staff was terrific from hostess to wait staff, congenial yet professional. Food was wonderful. I would like some more moderately priced wines but otherwise the prices are what one expects in a casino hotel. I will choose to dine there whenever in AC.
