Kage, Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately we have updated our menu offering to more casual bites because we have have to rely on takeout out and delivery during our current restrictions. We hope that you come back and give us a try later in the year when we return to our more extensive menu offerings.
OUTSTANDING food, warm service, lovely atmosphere. Amazing blue-cheese stuffed olive martini, mouth-watering fried oyster on celeraic slaw appetizer, perfectly cooked salmon over delicious fried rice, fennel crusted tuna... and off-the-hook Old Bay fries.

As always the food and staff were great. You have to try the claim chowder, to die for!
My first visit to Liv’s and she did not disappoint! The variety of oysters were outstanding and delicious. The clam chowder was out of this world- creamy with out being too dense. I will definitely be back.
Food was just delicious!! Loved everything we ordered especially the battered fish and chips and lobster risotto!!

Our third time, and certainly not the last. We travel from Norwalk CT to Old Saybrook and stay overnight just to dine here. EXCELLENT food, service, everything. Can't wait to go back.
The food was delicious! I especially love their truffle/ parmesan fries! Would definitely recommend this restaurant! A lovely evening!

Delicious food, had tuna tartare, oysters, shrimp tacos, braised short ribs and Philly cheese steak sandwich! And don’t forget the wonderful dessert that finished this delightful evening! Thanks Liv’s!
Never a bad meal at Liv’s! If you can sit at bar Brian the bartender is the best there is.
The raw bar specials are great. Service was very good and friendly from start to finish. The meal was tasty however very small portions (lunch size) for a dinner. Only three options for a dessert.

I have to get oysters and the variety and sauces are wonderful. I usually only think to get seafood here and it is great but my wife got the short ribs and they were also excellent!

We went early on New Years Eve and had a fantastic dinner. Drinks, food and service were all very good.
The food and the service were incredible! As always Liv's didn't disappoint between entree choices and taste. Can't wait to go back! Had the General Tso Tacos, BLT salad and Apple Crisp for dinner and every bite was amazing.

This was our second time here in two weeks. We really love Liv’s Oyster Bar! Everything we have had has been fresh and delicious! The description of their oysters could NOT be more spot on, right down to every adjective. The parsnip soup was to die for and the Sesame Crusted Salmon was cooked to perfection and delicious. The cocktails are all incredibly tasty libations, with creative ingredients. Also, the Martini with their homemade stuffed blue cheese olives? Wow. We also tried their white chocolate mousse dessert and it was perfect for two, even if your stuffed. Ha, not to mention, it is unique and scrumptious. We really love the food here and will make it back here on a regular basis.
Wonderful Black Friday meal after a long day of shopping. Clam chowder was great. Scallop entree was probably best I ever had.

Nadine is an amazing hostess/manager. I felt socially distanced and safe. The food was exceptional and the service on point.

As always, the food here is stellar and the cocktails are inventive and delicious! I had the octopus appetizer, and I've only had octopus that competes with Liv's in Manhattan! Amazing! An excellent wine list also.

Livs has done a great job of distancing tables, wearing masks and adding the BLT salad from their Shack menu to the Oyster Bar menu' The oysters are always fresh and perfectly shucked, the Old Bay fries are hot & delicious - and that is what I have every time we go - my partner has mussels, oysters, Caesar salad, and whatever else he can eat - it is always delicious and one of our favorite dinners out for date night -
