Livia's Dish, A Unique Dining Experience Ratings and Reviews
Livia's Dish has such a wonderful menu selection that it's so hard to choose what to order! The food presentation is simply beautiful. Our group of 6 loved absolutely everything we ordered. Just delicious!! The tiramisu is phenomenal - best I have ever had. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
In spite of a very busy day our table was set and ready when we arrived. We waited just a little longer than expected for our food but easily can attribute that to the crowds out for breakfast on Father's Day. Service was excellent. Food was hot and delicious. No one in our party of eight had any issue with their breakfast, except one serving of a little undercooked scrambled eggs, and that was instantly corrected. I had reservations about trying breakfast out on Father's Day due to past experience. I worried for nothing. Very nice experience.
This was our 5th or 6th visit, and the second visit within 1 week! We enjoy the food - and the atmosphere. We were a little disappointed for the restaurant itself, as, on this visit, it was very slow, probably due to being one of the first really nice evenings in a while - lots of home cookouts maybe? The only minus is that my husband had enjoyed their ultimate Margarita the week before - made without sour mix. He had one on this visit, but it was not as good - had sour mix (which it is NOT supposed to have). Everything else, though, was very enjoyable! Will definitely return.
The food here was great and very affordable. The stafff was very friendly and attentive--we had a great experience except that it was a lot more casual than it appears online. There is almost no ambiance--the setting is very much like a diner or a cafeteria. We came dressed up from an event and felt very out of place. I love this place on a Sunday morning/afternoon with friends--wouldn't recommend it for a special occasion or big night out or any time the atmosphere or experience is important.
I went to Livia's Dish based on recommendations from friends. I was so glad I did. I thought the menu was nice and the food was absolutely out of this world. Try their Livia's french toast. Service was also very good. I got to meet the owner since she was around and making sure that everyone was happy. I will be going back for dinner soon. I loved Livia's.
Even recognizing it was Mother's Day, this was a poor choice. They were understaffed from a server perspective. We waited 45 mins for our order to be taken, then waited again too long time for truly ordinary food. And as we left, there was a line of people waiting to be seated while inside there were empty tables. Not good for their business or the prospective patrons.
My friend was newly diagnosed with gluten and lactose allergies. The server greeted us and knew immediately who we were. She was wonderfully creative in suggesting dishes they could prepare to fit her allergies and checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was to our liking The food was outstanding and the service above and beyond what we expected. We will definitely eat here again soon.
We went for Easter Buffet and had the 1:45PM seating. The advertised menu was not the same as the food provided in the buffet and they ran out of many of the items without replenishing them. We were charged 2.00 per cup of coffee and mine came half filled.
Delicious lunch with ... unique sandwich offerings and very attentive staff. We were given a nice corner table for our party of seven and lingered until the 2:00 PM closing discussing our book club selection and the wonderful lunch. A lovely dining experience.
We came to Livia's Dish because we had a gift certificate. I was hoping to try the lamb shanks because of the good reviews, but they were sold out at 6:30 when we got there. I was disappointed but tried the salmon instead It was excellent!!! The lemon sauce was just right, not too sour but very flavorful. The vegetables and roasted potatoes were perfectly done as well. My husband had the Chicken Parmesan special. He said the tomato sauce was very good and the chicken and cheese quite tender. It was too much to eat in one sitting so he brought half home to eat the next day. They also offered homemade tiramisu which we ordered to take home to share. It was creamy and delicious. We will now have to try breakfast and lunch.
We met with friends for breakfast. The menu was great. Food came out fast and was very good. The service was good as well. The inside of the restaurant was updated and cozy- much nicer than what we expected from the outside view. Would definitely ho there again
My husband and I have had three different dining experiences at Livia's: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Each meal was exceptionally tasty and well worth the visit! The staff and owners were very friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh, health-oriented, and pleasing to the palate. We have already recommended this restaurant to a multitude of friends and we will be back in the near future. A Satisfied Couple from West Boylston
I took my wife for Valentine's after reading great reviews-and was very happy with my choice. Great food, very friendly staff, easy access and very affordable prices. Truly a gem! Yes, they could have more menu selections but they seem to manage very well what they offer now.
went on valentine's day and got the prix fixe menu even though we wanted the standard. food was basic and really subpar. my linguini was too salty to eat and her shrimp dish had 4 laughably small shrimp, like maybe 51/60 size. also, my braised lamb was just fat and connective tissue - and i LOVE braised anything. second course came out before the first and the arancini - another favorite - had ZERO mozzarella in them. waitress was nice but extremely new and didn't offer champagne as an upsell and didn't bring water after being asked twice. ambiance was ok, but the lights were a bit too high and the room a bit too quiet even with a live singer playing guitar by the bar. all in all, not a horrible experience, but for 100+ bucks, i expect more
We've eaten here a few times and each has been great.
The restaurant is also run by husband/wife team who are always there...he's the Chef and she manages the tables, etc. Therefore, not only are you getting great food, you can be assured that its being prepared with the utmost care.
All in all, we really like this place, as the food is great and its good to know that you're also supporting a great local establishment as well.
This place was great. The. Ishtar we were there they had a fantastic local singer singing Christmas tunes. We started with some excellent margaritas and the soup of the day which was great. Try the lamb shank, it was well prepared and delicious. It was a bit far from our home in Metro West, but well worth the trip. Nice family run place.
Stopped in with 3 friends for Sunday Breakfast. The food was wonderful. Service might seem slow if you are used to pre-prepped food. Tell yourself it's relaxed. The food is worth waiting for and the priced are great. Our bill for 4 was under $50 and one friend got a mimosa.
We all agreed we need to go back and try more dishes.
Livia's Dish is a wonderful addition to this part of Worcester. This was our first time here, but will most definitely not be our last. The food was done perfectly. There are some unique and interesting dishes on the menu. Service was perfect. We had a nice visit from the owner as we were finishing up who was very friendly and gave the evening a personal touch.
We had drinks at the bar while waiting for others to join us. Good wine selection; friendly server.
Bruscetta app great, lamb entree even better. Reasonable prices and easy reservation through Open Table.
Glad they're open for dinner and hoping they'll invest in the little things to step up their game.
