What an amazing evening , Great Food & Wonderful Drinks.... And our server was outstanding (ask for Audrey), if your looking for a memorable time give Livery your time.
Food was amazing, and reasonably priced! Two people can eat 3 courses and drinks for around $50-60
Great service, got seated right away, food was unique!
I made Valentine’s-weekend reservations for my fiancé and I, which was good because the couple who walked in before us were told it was a two hour wait. We were sat immediately. The server was quite knowledgeable of the menu and answered all of our questions. Top shelf margaritas: fantastic and strong. Pork belly tacos: delicious. Overall great experience.
Love Livery one of many fabulous CRG restaurants. Always a good meal.
Amazing food as always. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the skirt steak and chorizo empanadas are a must. Only downside was having an early reservation (5:15) and being sat in an empty dining room within 2-3 feet of the other 2 couples with the same reservation times. I absolutely understand if the restaurant is full, but spread us out a bit when it’s early.
I like this place, but maybe was not the best choice for Valentine's day! The food quality was lower than always and I expected something special for valentine, like a live music, special menu, or decoration! I still recommend this place, but I suggest staff to consider what I mentioned. :)
We came to Livery to celebrate my birthday and Valentine’s Day with another couple and Evan looked after us during our dinner. The food was delicious and Evan was amazing and elevated the whole experience!
Delicious, we will be back! Loved the atmosphere, the drinks were great, the food was delicious and different, service was very good.
My hubby and I go out for a nice dinner for Valentines Day. He had not been to Livery so I thought it would be a good choice. I love the ambiance, the mix of old and new modern decor. The service was wonderful. The food and cocktails as always were delicious. The food prices are not bad either which makes Livery a good choice for a date night or just when you want a delicious flavorful meal.
Simply fantastic. Great food, service and environment. Can’t wait to return.
Plantain appetizer excellent. Good advice on tequila shots. Chicken torts had interesting crunch and light mervthan you would expect
Nice restaurant. Plan on valet parking because there is nowhere else to park. Limited menu. Nice place to meet friends for drinks or appetizers.
We love this place. Took a friend who was in form out of town and she said the food was wonderful. Our server, Maddy was great and took care of us, anticipated our needs and was always there when we needed something. The food is great and the variety is fun to share around the table. Highly recommend.
The space both inside / out are magnificent and the food is absolutely fabulous.
Drinks were good
Livery was good but could have been better! We loved the atmosphere and the drinks. I was disappointed that they had ran out of scallops after our server recommended that dish. I would have expected for the price to be decreased or extra shrimp in place of the scallops but neither accommodation was made.
Love all the Cunningham properties but this one was particularly good. We had the special and margaritas and they were excellent
Our server was great at making suggestions! Everything was delicious.
This has to be THE best restaurant in Indy! They hit it out of the park on every category. I will be back often.
Jena was a fantastic server—we always enjoy her along with Cat, the GM and somali! This place is never a disappointment but sitting in the indoor enclosed space by the bar (forget what they call it) noise leve is unbearable. My husband and I had not seen each other due to a trip apart and literally had to quit talking because we had to “yell” at each other and still could not hear. It is not pleasant. If I recall, the bar area is much better acoustic wise for visiting. This is a typical problem among new restaurants and not sure what they can do about it, but sometimes we just want to have a conversation with some music in the background.
Everything for this place deserves 5 stars, except that there were lines for the bathroom. It was a busy Saturday night but still, the wait for a single toilet bathroom can be uncomfortable (found a unisex bathroom by the upstairs bar later). Polenta app was amazing and skirt steak was even better. One of my friends had the lamb tamale on the Devour menu - it should be on the full menu. And the service was excellent.
The place is loud as nothing absorbs the sounds. The furniture is not comfortable. Our valet experience was slow. The food was well prepared but small portions. Our server was very good.
Well, the kitchen creations were most interesting and tasty! Unique approach to just about all items ordered from "devour downtown" options. Only the olives in my martini were a disappointment. . .
Our waiter was friendly and helpful and appropriately attentive, and even shared a name with our son, Evan. We plan to return to work on tasting the appetizers, trying some creative cocktails, etc.
Livery is an exceptionally well-decorated space. We were seated upstairs, which brings me to my only complaint - there really isn't any cozy seating for two people. There are two very long tables and two U-shaped booths. We were seated in a U-shaped booth, which we found somewhat awkward for two people. The result is I sat at a 45 degrees angle to my seat so that I could face my date without us being awkwardly too far apart sitting at opposite ends of the booth.
Everything else is positive, including the outdoor space I am looking forward to trying out when weather permits.
The food and beverage options of their regular menu were quite adequate without overwhelming with too many choices. We ordered from the DEVOUR Indy menu and every single thing we ordered was well-prepared, well-presented, and delicious. I will note that the chocolate flan, while delicious, has the consistency of mousse rather than being custard-like. Looking forward to trying the remaining menu items.
I had the Livery Margarita, which I probably would not order again, and a Boulevardier, which I would. There is a Carriage House Margarita which apparently has higher quality ingredients that I would try next time. The beer list had many more interesting options for my taste than the wine list, but frankly that is just fine given the style of cuisine.
Unique flavors unlike anything I’ve ever tried before.
This place gave me gas and the food was not all that. The parking is valet only.
My wife & I dined on a Devour DT Monday night, still kinda busy but immediate seating. We sat in a booth on the bar side w good view of sports tv's. Really enjoyed the imaginative menu & food was quite good. Enjoyed a pineapple cider. Service a little strange but not off-putting (inexperience I think).
It was great! The food and service were wonderful! Just wish the chairs were more comfortable.
We always enjoy eating here. Tasty, unique food and good service. We checked in early for our reservation and staff seated us early due to a cancellation. Very friendly and helpful!
Excellent dining experience! Food was outstanding and the place is a real treasure to Indy.
A table of 3. The devour menu was great! We had a fun time. Great waitress! Thanks!
I will say, because as the old saying goes, " you get what you pay for".......much to my surprise....this is not the case for The Livery! I am basing this statement on the prices when I saw them online.
I made a snap judgment which I was pleasantly corrected.
It was my first time....when I went in the ambiance was great the clientele was having a great time and the hostess was very welcoming.
I ordered a red wine and the waitress was very knowledgeable.
Then came dinner, I was very pleased it was prompt, cooked to perfection and delicious!
Going back, I based my judgment on price. Shame on me......the menu prices are extremely reasonable so I assumed dinner would be sub par. Dinner was GREAT!
I strongly recommend The Livery for everyone!
My buddy was raving about this place so he brought us and he was spot on. Server was great, cocktails were top notch, and the food was absolute quality. All food was spicy and flavorful. The plantains appetizer was quite simply the best thing I've ever eaten. Highly recommend Livery to anyone
Great food as usual and fun cocktails! We had a few variations of spicy tequila based drinks and loved them all! I recommend the beet salad as well as any of the amazing entrees on the menu!
Nice place to hang out. Out drinks were great and not too pricey.
The only thing we were disappointed in was the ceviche! Our server Adam was wonderful. Warning....portion sizes are small, but so good!!!
Great food, great drinks, great service! The food has so much flavor and the portion sizes are perfect if you get an appetizer to share and each get your own main dish.
It was a wonderful experience- the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The food was excellent - we’ll absolutely go back.
We have been to Livery several times since moving to Indianapolis. It is definitely one of our favorite spots. The food is always excellent and the house margarita is a favorite. In the summer, the rooftop is a very fun spot to have drinks and dinner.
