   Worst meal I have had in a long time. For $100 dollars, one shouldn't plan to take home leftovers only to try and make it better for a future meal. We have tried LS several times. Each time we have hoped we would love it. But when you order a dish and it shows up as something different, (food you don't eat) you start to wonder, what's going on in the kitchen. Brussel sprouts and green beans are totally different, any lazy chief would know that. I don't know how LS keeps opening its doors when there are so many better options available n Birmingham. Sadly disappointed.

   This was a very special occasion which we had disclosed on open table. After we were seated we waited twenty minutes for water and drink orders. It took another fifteen minutes for those to arrive. Not a single apology for the delay. We waited for over an hour and half for food order. Really laughable at this point on how long it had taken. Average food st best. Again not a single apology from “the chef” who delivers the food himself. I’ve been making reservations on open table for years in birmingham. This is without question the worst dining experience I have had in this city.

   We have enjoyed this place as a jewel over the years. This time, we were disappointed. The food was not up to its previous standards and the service was just ok. The bar was excellent as always.

   HAve always liked Littel Savanah...but...went there with a small group(5)...asked about happy hour specials and even though we were in the front room where the bar is, we were told we had to be actually sitting AT THE BAR TO GET ANY HAPPY HOUR DRINK SPECIALS! Ridiculous They ran out of Sangria about 6 p.m....we were there at 5 p.m. BTW Sangria was super good! Service was very friendly, but SLOW. Had to get up and get my own spoon for my soup. Our server had seemed to disappear...and no other servers would look our way. Were not told about the wing night special (but knew this from web site, nor were given the wing menu until we saw one on another table) Disappointing.

   Food quality was not up to the standard expected from Little Savannah. We were disappointed and will not be going back.

   A very special place. Great food. Outstanding service. Relaxed and welcoming environment. Specializing in Low County cuisine with creative twists. It is evident that Chef Clif Holt has a wonderful connection with the local community. Highly recommended.

   Some what shocking atmosphere, black, stark..compared to name..expecting "southern experience>" Limited menu, particularly because we went on Easter, surprised to see so few choices. What we had was good, but should have done more research on the actual aim of the owners and chef.

    Ambience was amazing. Service was exceptional. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu. I forget her name. I'm sorry. The shrimp and grits were out of this world delicious. We had a wonderful time. Thanks, Cliff.
