Housed in a shipping container behind Platform Two of the old Folkestone Harbour Station, Little Rock is a spectacular new beachside restaurant just off the boardwalk before the entrance to Folkestone Harbour Arm. Explore the stunning indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Proud to serve fresh, local and seasonal fish and seafood, supplied straight from the day boats operating out of Folkestone Harbour and the surrounding Hythe Bay area.

Little Rock is a short walk away from the large Folkestone Harbour Arm car park. This is on the site of the old harbour port and currently costs £3.40 for up to 2 hours and then £1.70 per hour for up to 8 hours. All day parking (over 8 hours) costs £14. Prices subject to change.
Public transit
The nearest train station is Folkestone Central. Little Rock is approximately a 25-minute walk following signs for Folkestone Harbour Arm.There is a bus stop at the bottom of the Old High Street serviced by Stagecoach buses 72, 100, 101 and 102. Folkestone’s main bus station is in the centre of town, approximately a 15 minute walk away.

Great location by the beach, but the highlight was the quality of the food. Thoughtfully presented plates, using mainly locally-sourced ingredients.

I have previously been a huge fan of Little Rock. Unfortunately I have been disappointed on recents visits. This visit was service which they used to excel on and previously food eg when it says on the menu served with tomatoes, anchovies and pancetta I expect more than just 2 of each. I did question this and apparently that’s what the dish is. So schnitzel lots of iceberg and 2 bits of pancetta 2 cherry tomatoes and 2 anchovies. Not good value or what I would call a meal. I hope they can pull this back.

Lovely locations and great restaurant. Service was brilliant and very accommodating considering I changed the booking. Couldn’t be more helpful. Will definitely come again.

Great birthday lunch outside in the sun. Great people, excellent service and good food. Only distraction the noisy music from the Pilot restaurant next door.

Very good food , nice place. Shame weather to windy to sit outside as al fresco is particularly nice here. Parking on the Harbour Arm was £10 for the two hours we were there so be warned !

Lovely to sit outside…unfortunately the beach works were rather noisy! Prawns excellent. The crab disappointingly small…despite now being over £18!

Fantastic meal and so glad we booked. It was windy outside so all tables were inside. The view through the window was spectacular. I said to make husband if you didn’t know where you were , looking at that view you could believe you were in the Maldives.
