So good we had to go back 3 days later and it was just as good!
Just all around wonderful, thank you for the best breakfast we’ve had in a long time!
Great service and food. Had a reservation that I even changed from 5 to 2 and gave advanced notice. Still had to wait over 20 mins after reservation time. Felt like other parties that just walked in were seated before us.
Great food! Took a little longer to get a simple latte than I expected but that was the only “negative” thing about it.
Busy and understandably so. Such great food, and a wonderful diner experience with a twist. 100% will go back.
Fantastic combinations of food that are truly unique.
Food was very basic- thrown into a plate. Despite The restaurant being empty and plenty of stuff on hand there was no service.
Love places with “breakfast all day” options. Their cinnamon roll was a delicious side for my meal!
Peter our server was amazing!
Long waits for servers to come to our table to check on us, give refills on water jug, and bring check food was the only best part!
First, our service was top notch. Our server and other servers were super friendly and helpful. The food was served quick, hot and delicious. Our server went above and beyond to answer questions about the suburbs we had.
I was visiting from Texas and found the food and portion size to be incredible. The menu was a-la-carte style. Was actually worth the price. Would definitely return!
Went for lunch. Service was terrible. No water refills. No check in after food delivered. Other servers seemed better. Food was good overal but not as amazing as the reviews I read. Had the Chinese sausage biscuit and thought the sausage was outstanding but the biscuit left a lot to be desired. Korean tacos had really good chicken but the Mayo overpowered the chicken. Wound up scraping half the Mayo To balance the taste.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, although reservations really help! The servers make great recommendations and really know their menu items. There's a wide variety of flavors on the menu, and every dish I've tried is balanced, fresh and innovative. Thanks Little Goat Diner and Stephanie Izard!
Love the food. Loud heavy metal rock music detracts.
Patio was nice.
$5 for a cup of OJ, $16 for an omelette
my friend was being rude so we got mediocre service.
Both friends thought food was good but expensive
Server was great. Food was good — portions were too big which impacted taste. Just reduce size by 20% and your food would be amazing.
I had breakfast outside. When the menu looks interesting/diverse I usually ask for suggestions. I wound up having an egg on biscuit (there are more components but I can’t remember off hand). It was a wonderful mix of Asian and American flavors. The cinnamon bun was delicious as well. I can see why this is a very difficult place to score a reservation!!!
We left Midway during a long layover with the express purpose of coming here for breakfast. The experience did not disappoint. The outside dining was refreshing and clean, the server was a delight and the food was amazing!!! Might have been the most expensive breakfast (due to Uber rides to and from Midway), but boy was it worth it!!!
Loud Street noise if you eat outside is to be expected - service was great and food was very good - great spot for a casual lunch or dinner if you don't want to do fancy. Really like what they did with the wood deck out front.
We have enjoyed going back to the Little Goat for breakfast on many occasions. While we were said to see the Elvis French Toast was no longer a menu option, the Little Goat didn't disappoint with delicious biscuits and gravy and pancakes.
Bday lunch on outdoor patio: ambiance, service & food were spot on. The avocado toast with grilled peaches was phenomenal! And the brown butter blueberry cupcake was nothing like I have ever had before. Loved it!
In Chicago for a few days and reserved a table for Saturday brunch and so glad I did. I sat in the outdoor patio area and it was such a beautiful day to be out there. At my server’s suggestion I had the bull’s eye french toast and a side of hash browns. (Ordered a cinnamon roll to go to eat tomorrow so I can’t speak on that yet.) The restaurant makes a smoky chipotle sauce that was incredible on the hash browns; I wish I could take home a gallon of that sauce. The french toast was delicious, with an egg in the middle and topped with chicken, strawberries and syrup. Really unique take on french toast that I truly loved. Service was fantastic too. You won’t be disappointed eating here.
After having girl and the goat, I probably had too high of expectations. Too oily and not all that flavorful. I’ll go again and try something else tho.
It was painfully hot and humid inside. Online states there are vegan options, but the only options are toast and fruit. Paying $16 for some toast is nonsense.
Delicious food! I got the tacos and they were tasty and a big portion - 4 tacos with all the fixings! (Also, the guac on the tacos was amazing!) My partner got the chicken sandwich, which he also liked. We got the fries and mac n' cheese as sides, both were good, but the fries were probably better. Might skip the mac n' cheese next time. The waiter was super friendly. Also, it was pretty warm inside - this would probably be my only complaint. All around, great experience!
Incredible food. Creative and perfectly executed.
Hannah was our server and she was the best. Made our first trip to Chicago so memorable. Tacos were great as well as the Okonomiyaki (actually that was the best dish ever). Will def consider to go again on our next layover =]
The AC was either not turned on or broken on one side of the restaurant. It felt hotter inside than outside, and it was 100° outside.
The water was also room temperature and given to us after 10 minutes of being seated — probably an understaffing issue but it was way too hot in there to go that long without water.
Our server was super nice but the overall experience was unsatisfactory due to the air conditioning issue.
Great food!! Gave 4-stars because it was unbearably hot inside the restaurant
Heard a lot about it.
The service was really great.
I had the fried pork sandwich. It was just ok
Wife said, the same thing about the taco’s
A little warm inside
Incredible. Every bite on every plate was delicious.
Definitely not as good as it was when it first opened but still a nice stop. The smoked fries are so simple and so delicious.
The food was spectacular the people/service was over the top good! Highly recommend this place!
I went with two work colleagues as a thank you for their extra work. Love LGD. Always great, delicious food and nice staff.
Great experience for those visiting from out of town. I would recommend it!
I ate outside on a Sunday afternoon. Server recommended the Los Drowned over a burger - AMAZING!!! A must try by all. I def had leftovers as well. I highly recommend this place! Food quality is always on point!
Good was very good but it was a reasonably warm day and they didn’t have that air on inside so it was uncomfortable.
We had fantastic avocado toast w peach on it and the sourdough pancakes were so light. The waiter was bright and friendly. At first you might wish they had a boring option but then you’ll be glad you tried something a little wacky. We will be back!!
