Adjacent, you'll find the Little Goat Coffee Bar - offering pastries and freshly brewed Dark Matter coffee. While you are there you can also purchase merchandise and Stephanie's This Little Goat line of sauces and spices.
Located within Little Goat Bread is our bar - where craft beer, wine and cocktails are served.
Reservations reflect only a portion of our available seating and hold a seat in the diner whether at a booth or our communal table. If you can't find a time slot that best suits your request, we invite you to walk in and join us!
Everything was good, lots of flavor complexity. The nachos were the best. Creamy cheese, sweet spicy peppers, pulled pork, chewy and crispy chips, what’s not to love!
Our server was rude. Like super rude. After waiting 15 minutes for her to come over to our table I peeked my head around from the booth and asked for a drink menu. Her response was “what’s your emergency?!!” Ummmm ok. And things did not go up hill from there. The food was just ok. Nothing to go out of your way for. If you are desperate and bump into this place. I guess give it a try. Maybe you will have better service and food.
Had a wonderful birthday meal for my friend! She loved the veggie burger and I always get the chicken kebab when I visit. The service was genuine and made us feel very happy with our choice to come in and celebrate.
As always LG is great. It's our go to for lunch with friends because the service and food quality are consistently great.
The brussel sprouts were very salty along with the pork belly sandwich. Service was phenomenal though, he was cracking jokes which made it fun
Very disappointed in the corned beef hash. Home made corned beef did not meet expectations. My colleague enjoyed the Rueben Sandwich.
Food is excellent. The coffee is Dark Matter, as good as it gets. We've been there multiple times and never disappointed.
So good and tasty! My new go to brunch restaurant in the city!
Our food was really good and our sever was so helpful and sweet with our baby.
Place is loud! Took cute pictures in the photo booth there. Had the weird but good recommendation, the one that translated to “yum.” Also, we had the French toast with fried chicken on top! Very different food and delicious.
Tasty food very eclectic menu
Server was friendly without being overly so.
A bit loud for me but fine for my daughter!
Shane was an exemplary server. The food was great, and the vibe was great, but Shane made our experience into what it was. Which is nothing short of unforgettable.
Great food! All very fresh and innovative. The restaurant was very busy with brunch crowd and seemed a little understaffed with servers. We will definitely go back but maybe try a time a little less busy.
All around the service was stellar. From the front of house staff to our server to really anyone we came in contact with. The food was phenomenal as always. This is quickly becoming a go-to and its easy to recommend to friends/out of towners.
My boyfriend and I live in a different state but try to come eat at Little Goat at least once a year, usually for Valentines Day. We love the atmosphere and change of menu items.
Took a long tie to get coffee but everything else was amazing!!!
They were so wonderful here. Great food and service and I’m recently gluten free and they knew everything I could and couldn’t eat without me having to know. LOVE this place and will be back soon.
Outstanding. Biscuits and gravy were amazing as well as the hash browns with the cheese mixture.
Love this place! Great diner feel, but exciting and innovative dishes. Not too expensive either.
Unique food, reasonably priced and love the ambiance.
The food and service were great. I will definitely be going back!
The Little Goat had such a fun atmosphere. It truly encapsulated a diner feel. Our server was incredibly helpful and had the most delicious suggestions. It was a great opportunity to try another of Stephanie Izard's restaurants! It had much more availability than the other spots (however, we also tried the other restaurants) - so if you are having trouble finding reservations at one of her other restaurants, try Little Goat! It won't disappoint.
Great server and food as always
Food was fabulous!
Delicious food, thoughtful space, not too stuffy or fancy, and some of my favorite nachos in town.
Always a wonderful time. From the valet to the bar to the dining room you feel well taken care of.
Nothing special. I had corned beef hash and eggs. Potatoes were a little dry. Corned beef was sliced. Two smaller eggs. $16 for that seems high. Business associate had sandwich and it was okay.
Food was excellent, service was great. Nice place for a weekday dinner after work with friends. My only note, the food came out way too quickly. I like some time to enjoy my drink and appetizer before my main course comes out. Didn’t feel crowded enough that they needed to rush us, also not sure that was the intention. Just think the pace could have been a little slower. That said I would certainly go back and I’ll be dreaming about the chicken sandwich I had for a long time.
Was really cold by the window and food got cold really quickly.
Fantastic little diner, great for a late breakfast!
Very disappointed that we could not substitute something for the pork on the nachos
To food was amazing. Almost everything on the menu is unique with the a tweak that wows you. I am not a breakfast person and I can’t wait to go back for another breakfast
I asked for over-medium eggs that they were very over-easy. The biscuit in the biscuits and gravy was fantastic, but the gravy itself wasn't great.
The service was very good. It's a well run restaurant. The wait was short and the bussers who fill the drinks and clear the tables were on point.
Completely neglected by server. Food was coursed completely wrong. Our appetizers came with our entrees and our sides came as an appetizer. The server never checked on us and never offered additional beverages. I had guests here on business and wanted to treat them! They wanted to celebrate with some boozy cocktails at dinner, however we were not offered more other than our first round. Seriously disappointing!! I was so excited to close our check and go else where for drinks and conversationn Completely just a poor experience, and would not take anyone here that I was trying to entertain. I think the severs need a complete overhaul of training as they did not come close to anything I’d expect. Better service at Bob Evans
Scrumptious and delectable in every way - food, service, ambiance. Whether it was a sandwich or pancakes or nachos, everything had a different vibe/unique spin... a different spice/ingredient which made the entree "one of a kind." It was worth the valet parking and the extra drive before we went to a play downtown and paid for parking again.
Birthday dinner! I can’t wait to go back. The hot mess fries were great!
The food was just average, limited menu, pricey for what you get.
For a high end diner meal choose this locale in the West Loop.
Little Goat is always a treat, but they surpassed themselves Tuesday night when the entire city block lost power when a transformer blew. Food service was stopped when the kitchen lost power, but the servers continued to take drink orders, came by with flashlights where needed, and generally made it a grand adventure. When the outage continued our meal was comped despite our offer to pay. (The record of our order was of course unretrievable with no power but we'd have estimated.) I am sorry they lost income that night, but the goodwill generated will undoubtedly make all of us eager to come back for a more traditional meal. Overall, we were knocked out by the warmth and professionalism of the entire staff under pressure. Kudos all round.
