I think I just picked the wrong items for my taste (patty melt) since rye bread didn’t go too well with the patty and the fries could have been more crispy. But there were so many other items I could try, so I’d want to go again! The service was amazing though. Great waitress (person with purple hair) and busers!
Good fresh food.
Perfect breakfast and the outdoor seating area was so comfortable and pleasant. Loved having coffee from Sugargoat while I waited for my table, too!
Friendly wait staff, variety of food choices, quick service. Nice stop to eat!
I got the nachos and my daughter got the ham and cheese omelet. We both were very dissatisfied unfortunately.
Tacos had an overwhelming amount of topping and barely any meat. Not enjoyable to eat
We love going to Girl and the Goat to celebrate our anniversary. 26 year and counting. We love it. Great food, great staff. Always a favorite.
Great experience on the patio! Servers were very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing!
Our party had a reservation and we showed up on time. Many areas available and multiple parties sat before us who walked in later. Hostess did not check in on us while waiting to be seated and once seated, table only had one setting (party of 3)
Server was rude. Terrible. The food was very odd- a salad filled with onions.
We were excited to be back to Little goat, but we’re disappointed with the quality of the food. Biscuits were dry and the gravy was too strong. The blueberry pancakes were nice and fluffy.
Average at best. Small modification (egg scrambled instead of poached) was refused because of “experience.” Given how average food was, the egg was not the difference. Nachos where drowned in white sauce with a single leaf of cilantro. Hint of meat only. Overall disappointing.
Great, won’t get tired of visiting this place.
My best friend and I flew our moms in for a fun Chicago weekend. This was a “must” for breakfast, and did not disappoint. Delicious food, quaint atmosphere, and wonderful service!
Really great spot for breakfast! The breakfast sandwich was so good and the coffee as well
A great place for families. Mom and dad get some gourmet flavors and kids get great food for their taste buds too. Be sure to grab some treats from Sugargoat too.
Amazing meal and such great service!! Our server made awesome recommendations and made my friend’s birthday so special. Thank you!
My kids and husband ordered burgers. Little too pink in the middle. Fries were mediocre. Overpriced in my opinion. Kale salad was very good.
Delicious food! Enjoyed my time at the little goat! the service was outstanding! the hash browns were amazing!
Food is just ok. Service was excellent but the hash was super bland. Same with the biscuits and gravy. Patty melt comes with nothing so you end up with an ok sandwich and fries for 23 bucks. Took a long time to get ketchup and cream and sugar for the coffee. Hot tea basically came out with the meal.
One of the best meals I had during my trip to Chicago! Love the "world" that has been built around The Girl & the Goat!
Pre-COVID this was one of my favorite spots. I am gluten free and remember having endless options during previous dining experiences. Unfortunately, the menu has gotten extremely limited and they don’t even have a wine list. Super upsetting, the food was meh. Service was great - one of the only redeeming factors.
Great experience, highly recommend! Food was delicious and menu was nice and varied - there's something for everyone. Don't let "Diner" confuse you - while there is a focus on breakfast food, this is still a sit-down restaurant (service was a bit slow).
Limited menu and food was just ok for the overall high price we paid for it. The server was great. If you sit out side they try to cram too many tables too close to each other. Plenty of room Inside. I had requested a inside table and was given an outside table.
I'd really looked forward to this dinner. It was our last night in the city. As a "diner" I'd have hoped for sides (like fries) to be included with meals so that was a little disappointing. And I can't speak to the breakfast options on the menu because we were there for "dinner." Appetizer options seemed to be limited, too. It seemed like crab dip and nachos were the only options since I don't really consider chicken fingers to be an appetizer (since I'm not 8). The lack of a bar was understandable, but I'd also hoped for more kid friendly drink options for my kids. (I also understand all the space required for a "gun" at the bar for soda but was disappointed nevertheless.)
My sandwich (the patty melt) was good, but not exciting enough to send someone else to try it and my spouses Korean tacos lacked any real Korean flavor and any kimchee at all (it's already on a burger, is it too much to add to these tacos?) My kid liked her chocolate chip crunch pancakes, but who wouldn't? And my other kid liked his burger.
The fries were decent and there were a lot of them, but again, the a la carte menu meant that if we'd ordered another side to try, there just would have been too much food.
As noted, I was really looking forward to this meal. I've been watching Stephanie Izard from early on in Top Chef, but this meal and experience were considerably underwhelming.
High quality tasty meals every time I’ve been here (at least 50 times in last few years). Pablo was a wonderful waiter today!
Always a fabulous experience never disappoints!
Loving late lunch. Food was yummy and service was great. Try the taco!
Flavors were great. Had this little piggy went to China and the flavors were so unique and yummy. The take on chicken and waffles (chicken over French toast) was okay. Huge portions but not as good. Great service overall.
I always love coming to Little Goat. Amazing food, friendly and great service. And a great ambiance. A favorite for sure!
We were welcoming out of town guests to Chicago and Little Goat breakfast
Coffee orders placed while being seated I think they forgot arrived after food
An order of toast once again I think they forgot after omelet was finished
Omelet was just warm I think our waiter forgot to serve us
Little Great vibe nice menus service forget it
The food was very good, it appears casual but was actually fairly high end.
Unique menu and knowledgeable staff. We have some dietary restrictions and the server was able to guide us through the menu. Had lots of fun. Enjoyed the music too.
Food was outstanding. We had okonomiyaki , big biscuit and gravy, carrot cake and Carmel corn ice cream cupcake. Yummy. Would eat all again. Our server was terrific and the place was inviting and had eclectic charm. Almost exclusively booth seating but it was comfortable and table was moveable. Place was full and it wasn’t too loud. There was nice outside seating. Fun photo booth in the waiting area. Highly recommend
Food was great, server was great. Getting seated had challenges, possibly related to staffing and I get it, 1/4 full restaurant, we arrived 30-minutes early and attempted to seat early- fully committed. Sat at reservation time and room still 1/4 full, ate, paid and left, restaurant still 1/4 full.
Bakery items to take home were great !
Wonderful place to grab breakfast! Great service and awesome environment!
Amazing menu and friendly attentive staff. We loved it!
Wonderful experience. I would love to eat there again and again!
My wife and I live in Virginia and will return to Chicago just to eat (several times) at the Goat and the Girl and Little Goat Diner. Spectacular!
Been here before. Excellent food. Service started out good then took a dive after food arrived. Very little follow up or checking on us. Had to wave manager down for ketchup. Not that busy either so no excuse for service waning.
