Reservations reflect only a portion of our available seating and hold a seat in the diner whether at a booth or our communal table. If you can't find a time slot that best suits your request, we invite you to walk in and join us!
Food was outstanding, the ambiance was very comfortable and the staff was all so nice. There was a small wait for our table when we arrived, but not horrible. Highly recommend, I can't wait to return again.
So good. Their nachos were some of the best I have ever had. I would definitely go back! Great place to go with a group and share a bunch of things.
So many options and serve breakfast 24/7. I thought it was cool that they have a full individual dairy free, gluten free, and vegan menus.
Had high expectations, but fell short. Was so sad. Seating was quick, server was friendly. Cinnamon bun was AMMMAAAAZING! Shrimp and grits were tasty. French toast was too sweet and had a weird spice reminiscent of corriander or Chinese 5 Spice. Not a pleasant surprise...did someone grab this by mistake instead of cinnamon? Okonomiyaki, my reason for coming, fell way short. No cabbage. Menu said pork belly...no pork belly either. Sauce was spot on though. OH NO miyaki!!
Only suggestion is better service. Constantly had to ask for more water and drinks. Food was excellent
was recommended it by a friend and was very disappointed on all fronts.. although only a diner I expected the food to be tastier and a little more unusual ... sadly not
Always a great meal!
Unique dishes, very fresh and innovative and delicious. Bloody Mary was awesome, and the smoked fries are addictive. So great! Can't wait to go back.
Love the service. I tried all the recommendations and they were all too amazing. Little goat to chinatown, yum, hashbrowns were all mandatory dishes for first timers. I would go back to try other dishes. Def make reservation as it is very popular restaurant. Came one hour earlier than our reserved time and still had to wait till our reserved time.
This was a recommended hot spot by friends who are currently living in Chicago. During my visit here this past weekend, I was impressed. We had reservations for 11:30am and after bolting from Chicago O'hare, we used the convenient valet in front, and even after arriving 10 minutes later than our reservation, we were shown our seats immediately. My friends ordered french toast and pancake entrees, however, I have a severe egg allergy and upon informing the server, she brought out a separate vegan menu for me. The crumpets were divine and the home fries were great for sharing. I can't wait to come back!
I have wanted to try a Stephanie Izard restaurant forever. Little Goat did not disappoint! Awesome food at really reasonable prices. Friendly and professional staff. It was a wonderful experience
We had a reservation at 12:30, arrived early and were seated a few minutes later. The interior was cute and we had a nice booth. We looked over the menu for about 20 minutes before we had to go up and find a waitress. To compensate for our wait, they gave us 2 complimentary cinnamon rolls which were amazing. We asked for recommendations on the weird menu but the server wasn’t very helpful. Between all 6 girls I think only one of us liked the meal (omelette - how can you go wrong?). I love Girl& the Goat but Little Goat today was a hard pass. Get the cinnamon rolls and a coffee if you do go.
Always great tasting food! First time getting the crumpets and they did not disappoint.
Always a great place to have brunch!
Trusting in Stephanie Izard's ways, I went outside of my comfort zone with a sandwich that had a ramen flare to it. While it was tasty, it was overall pretty bland. Seeing as this has a diner vibe, the traditional meals were definitely better in the opinion of those who ordered the burger, fries and reuben! I will also note that the pork fries were great! If you want to feel like you're back in time with some funky eats, Little Goat is for you!
The food and service was amazing, but it is extremely noisy when it’s full. It is a diner, so I’m not sure why I was expecting anything different.
The food is excellent. The place is always packed, so louder than I prefer, but overall great.
We are never ever disappointed with our meals. Amazing restaurant!
The Little Goat provides great value for the location and quality of food. The goat chili cheese fries were delicately seasoned and delicious. This restaurant does a great job of taking classic diner fair and spicing it up to be classier and tastier.
The food was amazing! I love that they offer breakfast all day. Can’t wait to go back!
Loved everything we ordered. our server gave us great suggestions and we had a lovely time catching up over delicious food. the restaurant was full, but not too loud. Highly recommend to anyone!
Perfect lunch spot.
Did not enjoy most of our meal. Everything was done weird, and not a good weird. On a positive note, our waiter did take the terrible salad off our bill.
Valet was 15 minutes late
Some of the best food I have ever ate. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back
took my daughter here for a pre-Bulls Game Brunch. She had the Fat Elvis Waffles which were super yummy. I had the Biscuit N Gravy which wasn't has good as would have hoped for. the Biscuit sat in my stomach like a brick and the Gravy has heavily seasoned with Chinese 5 spice for some reason which wasn't to my taste.
Our server (her name is escaping me) was solid—much more attentive and present than servers we’ve had in past visits. Really awesome management staff member, Quinn—great with babies and grown customers alike!
I have been to Little Goat before and loved it!! Especially the Little Goat goes to China entree. This time my husband and I both had it and we both thought it had a very unpleasant tinny after taste. I was not able to eat more than a few bites and was disappointed as we drove quite a distance. I am sure it was a one time occurrence but there was definitely something wrong with our entrees as it did not taste as it had in the past.
Our server was okay but seemed uninterested and too cool to interact. Didn’t bother mentioning our disappointment to the cooler than me staff.
A wonderful atmosphere and amazing flavors!
The ambiance, hosts, and our waitress were great. However, when I ordered a drink, I was told, “We often run out of that drink, can you order something else as a back-up?l” As it turned-out, the Little Goat was out of both of my selections. I then ordered a water. Next, I attempted to order an item off of the breakfast menu. The menu states words to the effect or “breakfast served all day.” But the Little Goat was out of that item as well. My wife ordered a salad for dinner. As she was eating it, she found a hair in it. At least our waitress handled that problem well. She took salad off our bill and gave my wife a free salad to take home to eat later.
We were there for dinner, lots of items looked good, but we ordered the Macho Nachos for an appetizer, didn’t end up ordering anything else, the were SO good! Well, we did get dessert, amazing as well! The Uber driver smelled our leftovers and decided she may need to try it as well.
Service was fantastic! We have been multiple times and this is the first time the food has been mediocre. The bread came out burnt, glass was dirty, and our pancakes were raw in the middle. We would still go back because we know how amazing it really is.
We've been here many times but we had not been in over a year. Decided to bring some friends who were visiting from out of town. The food was disappointing, especially dishes that we had had in the past and knew were good. Flavors were lacking. Not sure I would bring anyone here again. Service also seemed rushed despite having a reservation.
Great menu with a fun variety of items to choose from. Nice twists on several favorites.
We had a party of 7 for a pretheater dinner. The food was grear--ages ranged from 9-62 and we were all happy. Very efficient getting us served and out the doir ob time.
Service was subpar. Server would come by once every 20 minutes. Lots of waiting around.
We had a reservation for a Saturday morning- 2 adults and 2 kids. They had valet for breakfast- extra bonus! They accommodated my Open Table request for a booth, bet we were seated right behind the hostess stand, which is freezing cold in January with all the people coming and going. Not an ideal restaurant setup. Hostess was not particularly welcoming. Service was kind, but slow, and the restaurant was not completely full. I waited 15+ minutes for black coffee, which I got after the other drink and coffee orders were filled at our table. Food was great- the hash browns, bacon, eggs were simple but divine, and the cinnamon bun won my kid’s heart. Little Piggy Went to China was a hit, skip the oatmeal. Decadent breakfast!
Lots of kiddos Saturday morning (it’s hard to find a restaurant that takes breakfast reservations, like Little Goat does), which may have been the reason for slow service. Prepare yourself for that if you want a quiet breakfast (not gonna happen).
Tasty comfort food. 3 items to share are perfect for 2 people—we started with the Goat Chili Cheese Fries, and then split the “Yum” and This Little Piggy Went to China. Our server was such a nice guy. We really enjoy the ambiance of this restaurant—it’s casual with a very diverse crowd of people of all ages.
