   We love little frenchies, and go a few times a year. However, this time we were extremely disappointed by the service. Our waiter was inattentive, and the hostess was extremely rude. disappointed.

   We really enjoyed our appetizers - onion soup, beef tartare and endive salad were a big hit Entrees we’re just ok. Duck cassoulet was overdone and fish entree was super small. Everything in Coronado is overpriced but $20 for onion soup and $42 for a 4 ounce fish is just dumb dumb.

   We went for brunch with a reservation. We were there 10 min early and were asked to wait, we were seated outside at slightly after reservation time. Nowhere to sit while you wait and I am 9 months pregnant - just a side note. Food overall was good. My husband got the burger and it was what I expect from a good burger. It was very flavorful and juicy and the ingredients were high quality. The toppings were unique. The skillet of melty cheese was a nice touch. The fries were also not disappointing. I got the seasonal grilled cheese which was a brie, honey, and dried fig. The ingredients were good, but it came out room temperature and therefore not melty which I would've preferred. It was not a huge portion for a $20 sandwich. The side salad was fresh and simple greens tossed in a light dressing. I got a cappuccino which was also lukewarm but it was tasty, very sweet with lavender syrup and no need for the brown sugar cubes. I got the seasonal cruffin to go which is the whole reason I wanted to try this restaurant to begin with. The croissant part itself is nothing to write home about and is a bit excessive and dry, but the pastry creams really made it shine. Overall, I would be interested in going again to try some other items if it weren't for the high price point for what you get.

    Love Little Frenchies but they need to have their cruffins and cronuts every day, not just the weekends. We were hugely disappointed to find they were just a weekend thing.

    We loved Little Frenchie! Very cute place. (Check out the wall of corks in the restroom (yes! The restroom!). The classic mussels were delicious and an ample portion. The creme brûlée (birthday celebration) was yummy. We will go back.

    The burger is outstanding as well as the service. The restaurant is very close to the Lamb Theater which made it very convenient to get to the play in time. Please note that the restaurant was noisy inside but very pleasant outside as the weather was excellent.

    The food is delicious and the menu offers traditional French fare served and prepared authentically. The service is good and they offer a very large selection of champagnes by the glass. The atmosphere is ok as it is on the street and a neighbourhood place. We found the items to be somewhat overpriced even by San Diego standards. The onion soup was outstanding though, using real Comte cheese , however a salad of basically just lettuce at $16 was a bit disappointing.

    We were seated quickly with reservations. We sat indoors. The restaurant has a beautiful ambience inside. It’s classy but very casual. We went for weekend brunch. What a complete treat! Everything we ordered was absolutely wonderful. We had French onion soup, a butter lettuce salad, a Croque, Monsieur, and a cruffun at our table. Every item was perfect. Our server was lovely, just the right amount of attention. The wine was very good too. We will be back; I’m excited to experience dinner here.

    Place was nice, and the food was great. Cute tables and ambiance The waitress that brought out water cups out was a little rough. The glasses were almost thrown onto the table and it threw us off. Definitely a must try

    Excellent service, all the food was amazing, they ordered a lovely bottle of Domain de Figueraisse which if you a fan of Rose this is absolutely delish! The place is super clean, the ambiance is so peaceful and cozy! Definitely a great place to have quality moments!

    Food was good but a little heavy handed. That is too much salt, seasoning. They made up for lack of top food with quantity. We could have split either dinner and been fine. Even chocolate cake was huge. Don’t misread this review it is very nice place and better than most. But if you want top French cooking you will be somewhat disappointed. The overall experience was very good but not 5 star.

    Overall I love Little Frenchie! Fabulous wine and cocktails! The baguette appetizer is a must, mussels were excellent, French dip was ok, cheese board was amazing! Truffle cheese was my favorite. Creme brûlée was delish and freshly made. I enjoy them for lunch as well, must give a plug for the hamburger and bib lettuce salad. Lavender latte is a bit too sweet, ask for half syrup.
