Most creative, fresh, delicious entrees in town.
Excellent food! Great service and ambience. What a treat for my senses!
Everything was good.
We love little fish and go for special occasions. It’s always outstanding but we were slightly disappointed for this Valentine’s Day dinner. They were doing a pre-fixe menu that we didn’t know about, three courses for $65/head. The choices were very limited (only two options per course where they usually have 4-5 options). The food was still delicious but I prefer their normal menu!
Unreal herb & olive oil dip for the bread. Entrees were good, too
This was our second time to Little Fish and the staff was even friendlier than before and the lighting was much better. It's still a little cramped (maybe one less 2-person seating would help), but still the best seafood place ever.
One of best restaurants in Philly. Food is superb... beautifully presented and prepared. On high end cost-wise but worth it. Service is excellent and atmosphere is warm and cozy. Small, intimate space.
What an amazing restaurant. The food is incredible. Great ambiance and good service. Would have liked to have seen a bit more food on the plates though.
Anniversary dinner. Started with oysters then moved on to hamachi and tilefish. Main courses were halibut snd big rye tuna - both to die for.
This is our favorite small neighborhood restaurant. The quality of the seafood is tops, and is imaginatively and artfully prepared. The service is outstanding and friendly. And it is a BYO. If you take wine, be sure that it is equal to the quality of the meal.
This is my favorite restaurant in Philadelphia. It has the best fish, the best sauces and the most interesting small bites and appetizers. The quality of the fish and ingredients are top notch and the preparations are meticulous and delicious. The sauces are delicate to let the fish be the star, but are delicious in their own rite. I always save some bread to mop up the dishes. I dine out a lot (basically every night) and I try to eat here at least once per week. The dishes are constantly refreshed and I have had meals entirely composed of small bites and appetizers with other dinners of only entrees only. All have been terrific and memorable.
I come back here time and again because I love it. One of my favorite restaurants in Philly.
Overall excellent. Great food, great service, excellent experience.
The fish was a lot bigger than I thought it would be based on your name
Menu too pricey for the portions of food for a neighborhood restaurant. I was still hungry when I was finished. Only one option for dessert.
I though that my experience was well worth the price on the menu. It was quite expensive but the service, food and atmosphere certainly made the cost well worth it.
Amazing amazing seafood - creative and fresh. Cozy & cute atmosphere. Great for an intimate meal. Service was also wonderful - great suggestions! Loved the handwritten menu - shows a lot of thought & creativity go into each and every meal
Always an amazing visit. Went for the wife’s birthday and food was exceptional. The scallops were perfectly cooked. Service was delightful and severs made great recommendations.
One of the best most consistent restaurants in the city!!
Excellent dinner with attentive and professional service. We loved it and highly recommend Little Fish.
Great as always, little fish will never disappoint.
Food was excellent! My husband and I ordered the rock shrimp and the mackerel for 1st entry. Rock shrimp was great however, we were surprised that the mackerel were not cooked and the servers never mentioned it when they described the menu. However for what it is, the mackerel was fresh just not our style. Main entry was excellent!!!
The place was very crowded and loud. The table next to us was extremely loud and was hurting my eardrums. Without that loudness, I think the place would have been perfect for our date.
Besides those negative aspects, the food overall was delicious. Definitely coming back.
I was taking to the restaurant for my birthday. I ordered the black cod, which was served over rice with the delicious Boullibaise sauce, clams, mussels and a Crustini. We listen to the description of the food preparation twice, and neither of us heard/understood that the shellfish meat would be taken out of the shells and served cold on top of the bread. So the fish part of the main entrée was delicious but the shellfish were a total waste. The place is very cute but only has eight or nine tables and we were stuck next to a group of four who were ready for dessert when we sat down. They were extremely loud and dropping F bombs constantly. We had two courses while they spent an hour finishing their wine.
My husband’s red snapper was oustanding. I loved my hamachi appetizer but was a bit underwhelmed my the scallops. They were perfectly cooked but the sauce seemed a bit dull. The dessert of baked apples with ice cream was excellent. Friendly service and expertly prepared food made for a perfect dining experience.
I live thousands of miles away and hadn't been to Little Fish in five years. It's a little less basic and a little less edgy. I don't know if that affected out entrees but both my husband and I love our oysters and our first plates and thought our main courses were either bland and uninviting or too much food without being exciting. We still plan to go to Little Fish again, but next time order more oysters and more first courses without getting mains.
We loved every bite of our meal at Little Fish. We arrived early in the evening, so there were vacant seats when we first walked in, but the room never felt crowded even after every seat was filled later in our meal. Move this place to the top of your list!
Outstanding service & excellent food. A gem. I look forward to returning!
As always....simply everything is an experience to taste...savor....and sort through the parade of flavors. That's in every BITE!
I drive 100 miles each year & have great dinner. The food is great I can not say more.
Everything was fantastic. The food was creative but unfussy. One of the best meals I’ve ever had.
