Wait and bar staff made the experience good as they were exceptional. They acknowledged our party birthday immediately and accommodated a special cocktail request.
Food was good, almost very good except for the delays. They said they would credit our bill for a v. late entree, but didn’t. Overall, the slowness of food delivery and table:wait staff ratio are the roots of the lower rating.
We are locals and wanted to show our support for a new restaurant. It was extremely loud. The waitress could not even hear us when we were placing our orders and we were not sitting near the stage. Food was not great. Two of the people at our table could not eat what they ordered. Great location but VERY touristy. Overall they need to revamp their menu and turn the music down.
The food was delicious and nothing complicated if you are with a picky eater. Unfortunately after we received our food our server got busy and it took a long time to get the check.
Much better than most hotel restaurants, trendy decor, good food, pricey... but still a hotel restaurant. We were there for Valentine's Day because we were going to a musical at TPAC then spending the night at the Renaissance Hotel. The clientele was a mix of dressed up for Valentine's (like us), casual hotel guests, and Nashville Predators fans for the game that night. The food and prices are upscale, but atmosphere is more trendy casual. We had the sugar-glazed brussel sprouts which were excellent, cheese fondue that came with veggies and tots (very good), ribeye with cauliflower (ribeye pretty good and cauliflower surprisingly good), and crab-stuffed trout which was interesting but wouldn't order again. There is a bench that runs nearly the length of the restaurant with tables lined up so one person sits on the bench and the other person sits in a chair across from them - THE BENCH IS TOO LOW. Service was good and they let us put 2 chairs by our table rather than use the low bench - we saw at least one other group moves tables for the same reason. The other minor negative - the ribeye comes with potatoes so I asked to substitute for a salad that was listed on the side item menu but the server said we were only allowed to substitute with cauliflower.
Birthday dinner with friend, great food, apps where the best
Solid all around. Great Old Fashioned’s, deviled eggs, roasted cauliflower...definitely get the roast beef sandwich and broccolini salad!
Enjoyable dinner with great service and good food.
So noisy! I was not expecting it to be inside of a hotel. Food was just ok.
Perfect quick eat and drink before concert at the Ryman very close by. Easy parking and not crowded on a Fri night. Decent food and not pricey.
Vacation with friends
Loved our meal at Little Fib! The atmosphere was great- it was quiet but there was a live musician who was excellent. Had the cornbread madeleines, gruyere fondue, crispy brussels sprouts and fish n grits to eat, cocktails to drink. Exceptionally good food, friendly servers and hostess. Will definitely return with friends and family, would be good for any occasion!
Food was fine but somewhat overpriced.
The food was phenomenal! Service was attentive and genuine!
We had a wonderful meal and our server was particularly attentive. We were dining pre-theater and he made sure we were not rushed and even had time for dessert. The restaurant was quiet when we were seated, but soon a very large group arrived, probably a convention group, but that just made it seem more festive. The French Dip was a particular favorite of our table and we look forward to returning soon!
Service was awful it was almost like we were inconveniencing the bartender for drink/food.
Little fib was great! Service was quick and friendly. The fondue app is amazing and even comes with some veggies too. It would be nice if they updated their salad a bit to not have bibb lettuce, it's a little buttery and chewy, a crunchier green would be better!
Desgusting and I blame open table app
We had a great New Year’s Eve dinner. Great drinks, great food and great service.
Little Fib was great! The atmosphere and set up in the restaurant is very cool and is the perfect place for a date.
Food was delicious and good accommodation for gluten free needs. The buffet was just a little pricey if you have a gluten limitation. Would have been better to enjoy something from the menu probably. I had to ask twice for my hot tea. Nonetheless it was a really good experience.
We enjoyed an early evening supper. The small plates were great! Crab hush puppies and corn Madelines were so good that we ordered a second round.
Friendly & welcoming Hostess... Very good service at the bar... would return!
We had breakfast Christmas Day and chose the buffet. The biscuits were rock hard. The bacon was good. The oatmeal and eggs were very average. The gravy was the quality of a truck stop. The sliced pineapple was delicious. And the sliced strawberries and blueberries were fresh. We didn’t eat any of the pastries, although there were muffins and danishes that looked average. Nothing wowed us for the price. The ambiance was nice. Restaurant area was clean, as was the buffet. There are so many other places to enjoy really good food in Nashville though, I wouldn’t recommend wasting your dollars here.
Love the decor. The food was very good. Our bartender was so very friendly and eager to concoct cocktails for me and came up with some great ones on the spur of the moment.
Our bartender, Josh I think, was so very helpful with concocting cocktails to please me. He came up with a couple great ones, he treated us like friends
Very nice meal. Food and service were outstanding. Restaurant is just off the lobby of the Rennaisance Hotel and includes a large bar area. We ate early, so the bar was quite busy, and a little loud. But don’t let that stop you - this is a very good place. Nice local draft beer selection too. And, as an added bonus, they will validate your parking - so the hotel valet parking was free. We returned after seeing a show at the nearby Ryman, and parking would’ve been over $40 without the validation.
We chose this restaurant because we wanted to walk to The Ryman after dinner, and it was very convenient to do that. The atmosphere was fine and the food was very good. I had the Little Fib salad with salmon added to it, and it was delicious. The cheese fondue appetizer was just okay (but we love authentic Swiss fondue, so it wasn't up to par with what we make at home, but still pretty good). The cocktail I had (the "I Fib You Not) was excellent! I would go here again if we wanted to walk to The Ryman.
Always have the best experience here!!! Beautiful and nostalgic food and service that makes you feel right at home. Don’t miss the honey cocktail!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Little Fib. We had all of the appetizers on the menu and they were all delicious. The wings were awesome! The pimento cheese ball was very good. The Crab cake balls and the Gouda fondue were very good. The corn bread madelines were delicious! The drink menu was very creative and good.
Very disappointed. We went for breakfast and ordered off the menu. My classic Benny was OK but had obviously been waiting too long before it was bought out it was lluke warm and the potatoes we’re bordering on cold. My partners omelette was tasty but again the accompanying potatoes were cold! The service was poor, we had to ask twice for ketchup and I was half way through my plate when my side of avocado turned up.
But the biggest Fib and disappointment of all was the 4oz glass of “freshly squeezed” orange juice. I guess at some point in history it was both a fresh orange and was squeezed but for 3 dollars I would have expected something closer to the real deal.
We booked here for Thanksgiving having never been before and were very impressed. The food was excellent as was the service. Highly recommended.
Had our Thanksgiving dinner there and it was very, very good! Impressed!
Thanksgiving feast was great!
Nice place for a meal during a conference break.
Made reservations at Little Fib based on the good reviews and close location to where we were staying in Nashville. The restaurant is located in The Renaissance hotel. Casual atmosphere and good basic comfort style food-we loved the wings appetizer and also enjoyed the meatloaf and fried chicken.
First time there. Food was very good and Emily our waitress was excellent
I booked breakfast reservations here for a group of 6 people against my better judgment with it being located in a hotel, but given good reviews thought I would take a chance. I should not have second guessed my usual strategy. Our server was attentive with coffee and water, but our food took an amazingly long time to be delivered despite empty tables all around us. Also, when I made the reservation I noted that no alcohol was served until 10 am, and we had no problem with that. On being seated at 9:15 am, we asked to confirm brunch cocktails would start at 10 am. The served advised yes. At 10 am, we noted no activity at the bar - no bartender present, no prep for the day, all supplies still locked away. When we left at ~10:30 am, still no activity at the bar. If you aren't going to have brunch cocktails available, just say so. This avoids setting expectation and then not meeting them.
