   Beautiful restaurant and atmosphere. Our waitress Lucy was so sweet and professional. Great menu with many options, the fried tofu dish was very yummy and the corn fritters are a must.

   You could tell it was the end of the season - wait staff in the restaurant were distracted, inattentive, and rude. They seemed annoyed to be there - this was our experience both at breakfast and dinner. The ambiance is fabulous - they may need a tune up when it comes to customer service. Hostess was sweet and bartender at Harry’s also terrific. Food could have been better - charcuterie board at Harry’s was poorly done - more like Oscar Meyer deli. Lobster bisque and filet mignon were pretty good.

   Very noisy dining room. Service is slow. Wine is good but way over-priced. I had the Little Fern salad which was great. My wife had the lobster bisque and tasted pasty and cold. My Wife had halibut which was dry and bland. I had salmon which was a weird combination of spices and cooking methods. Turtle cheese cake dessert was excellent. You are definitely paying for the ambience and the view.

   Terrific food in a wonderful location. No food pics but we got to watch the coastal fog cover Somes Sound.

   Pleasant atmosphere with a great view. Staff very polite, a bit pricey but food was delicious. We’d definitely go back.

    First of all we were not hotel guests. We live close by the hotel and this was our third visit. Here are my thoughts: The decor of the hotel is stunning. New England chic. Bravo to the designer. Each room in the main hotel, lobby, bar, waiting area and dining room are decorated with a beautiful flow of color and furnishings. However the staff is in much need of support. The front guest agent could not answer a simple question regarding the spa. I believe English is his second language. I did ask several times phasing my question differently to no avail. The bar area during our 3 visits was always full. Only one very busy bartender trying to manage the crowd. A wait staff person would greatly improve this area and satisfy the guests. The dining room host/hostess have been pleasant and cheerful. But it ends there. The wait staff needs more training. Each time we asked questions about the menu the waiter had to go ask. And at each visit one member of our party had to send food back - under cooked and/or prepared incorrectly. The food is brought out by a server not the waiter, minutes went by before the waiter could come by to check on us. I think having wait staff work as teams would improve the service. For instance, we ordered salads each time. The server did not ask if we wanted pepper, etc. again we waited for the waiter. The wait staff is slow to respond because they seem overwhelmed. So between the 12 of us (4 each visit) we give the menu and food B+. We continue to frequent the restaurant hoping things will improve. And we will continue to support the hotel/restaurant next season to see if it does.
