Except the cheap silver wear it’s back to where it was pre Covid, excellent!
Food was unusual, perfectly prepared and delicious. The service was efficient, friendly and informative. Our server was so knowledgeable and steered us to a post-Covid dining experience that was worth waiting for.
Delicious food, great presentation, excellent service!
Food was fantastic & our waiter was great too! We received 3/4 of our meal right away (tapas style), but then had to wait over 45 minutes for anything else. We ended up having to take the last 2 portions & dessert to-go. Fun vibe & atmosphere + easily accessible from the T.
I loved everything about our experience at Little Donkey. Definitely a favorite spot. Our favorite dishes were the crab spring rolls and octopus casino. The seafood was so fresh.
Great besides asking to sit at empty tables near a space heater and being told no even though we also had a reservation
We love the Lil Donk. Happy to be back after such a long time away.
Great service and creative dining menu. Always fun.
It was too cold and windy outside unfortunately
Small plates but very well balanced flavors. Surprising to have each plates of different cuisines meld together.
It was SO good. We got the burger, Bangkok noodles and the ghost king fried chicken. It was delicious!
Great place, variety of food. Delicious! We had a great time.
The food was quite good but the portion is quite small. The hostess was not particularly friendly when we checked in. We sat outside and waited 15 minutes before a server came. It was quite chilly and we went there because of the heat lamps but none of them were working. They ran out of propane over the weekend.
I was disappointed as I expected a lot more.
Burned food, cold burgers, terrible service
Menu looked ambitious but the the flavors did not match the menu!
The food was excellent and our server was incredibly friendly and helpful with food recommendations. The food came out rather quickly, but there was a strict 1.5 hour policy and the waiters kept reminding us of that, which made us feel rushed and pressured to leave.
Little Donkey is the best – including their employees! I felt safe there, too, during this (sort of) post-pandemic time.
It was great- fun, socially distanced and great service!
The Gin and Tonic was a hit! Food wasn't exceptional, but good: we ordered empanadas, Bangkok noodles, and spicy chicken sandwich. There weren't a lot of vegetarian options unfortunately!
Not as tasty as I’m used to. Thinking they’re just getting back in the swing of things. I look forward to going back.
What’s not to love about Little Donkey?!?! Everything from the oysters to the cookie dough was delish!
Awesome food. Had to eat in the parking lot, so the ambience was clearly subpar, but that’s not the restaurant’s problem. When covid goes away it will still be an awesome place to eat overall.
First timer. Food was wonderful. We got the Octopus casino, oysters, Mantai, Empanadas, and the crab spring rolls. It was to die for. The octopus was my favorites. Along with the once in a grapefruit cocktail. Which was literally served in a grapefruit. Would definitely come again.
Incredible dining experience if not one of the best!! Service was 15/10. Can’t remember the servers name. We dined on 4/19 at the bar at 6:15p. Friendly, efficient and most of all attentive!! Food came out just at the right times. We finished one plate and voila, the next plate would arrive. Every single dish was exquisite and I was on a Little Donkey high until the next night. My friend and I that I dined with kept reminiscing about how amazing the entire night was. Will definitely be back! And hopefully I can figure out that servers name !
Had a wonderful night at Little Donkey! So happy they’re open again. Ate outside and although it started to rain, the staff was quick to get us covered by umbrella/tent. I forget the cocktail but the vodka/fruit punch one was delicious! The food was so flavorful and bright. Our server George was awesome and was knowledgeable about the wine list. Only distraction was a noise that happened every 6 mins but I know it was out of their control.
It was great to be back despite the chilly weather. The outdoor space heaters were much appreciated.
Love Little Donkey - so happy to return. The food is amazing. The Caviar McMuffin is one of the best dishes on the planet, the Kalbi or Galbi (Korean short rib) is extraordinary, and service always great... I was sad they altered the perfect chicken sandwich but was still delish. I love this place so happy you are back!!!
Amazing meal -- innovative, exciting, and flavorful ingredients!! Great service too -- attentive, helpful, and energetic.
Always great! Lots of choices, and a great dessert. Service is impeccable.
Such an amazing spot!
So sad to see it go into hibernation and was waiting with bated breath for it to reopen.
Simply put...it did not disappoint!! It was great to see familiar faces working the dining room from servers to bartenders, all with smiles on their faces and happy to greet customers upon arrival.
The food, OMG the foooooooood. Get the fat rice, get the duck mole, and it would be a huge mistake if you don't get the sundae.
This made me so happy. 1,000,000 stars for Little Donkey
I love this place. The vibe is great. The staff is fantastic. The food is rich and flavorful.
The portion sizes are pretty small, and the menu is pricey. That being said, the food was tasty and the atmosphere was nice. My main complaint: our server kept trying to upsell us and trying to get us to order more dishes. A little is fine, but he was way overdoing it. Ugh. Also, they charged me $2 more tip than I had actually written. Annoying.
Welcome back! It was their first night back and they knocked it out of the park! The team behind Ken and Jamie are always top notch! Both cocktails and food were amazing. Forgive me, I don’t remember our servers name, but he was great...good banter with the group, attentive without being overly so, and great at helping us with portioning. Even with Covid, the space still feels welcoming and vibrant. We aren’t in the area often but I can’t wait to return!
Great service and the food was fantastic.
We had a very pleasant pandemic dining experience.
waiter was so nice and helpful, food was amazing— just as good as i remembered despite the slightly chilly outdoor dining experience ;) nice touch that they have blankets for sale if you need a little extra insulation, too!
Good was too salty and service was seriously lacking. I won’t be returning
My favorite restaurant. The cauliflower was amazing, plus the chicken sandwich and burger are always amazing!
Little Donkey is doing a great job with covid safety. We felt very comfortable dining there last week. The food was incredible and well paced. Service was great as always.
Headed over to Little Donkey with my BFF for their $1 oysters. Food was great and service was great!!! Definitely making this my go to spot!
