Little Boston Bistro - The Point Casino Ratings and Reviews
We have been to the Little Boston Bistro several times and have had the same superior service and exceptional quality from an excellent and creative chef every time! The wine list includes a wide variety of wine at a reasonable per-bottle-price. The plate presentation is appetizing and appealing.
Highly recommend for any special occasion.
This little gem is attached to the Point No Point Casino. We love it because the food is very good and good value. One of the servers (Marie) has been there since we began visits a few years ago. She adds value to the spot and provides lovely service to compliment nicely presented and very good quality food. Thankfully, it is NOT loud, but when you walk through the doors, you are in the casino with all the bells and party atmosphere you could want.
We have found a great gem in Kitsap County and with a new menu it is a new adventure for us that come often. the waitstaff is professional and friendly and the food is great. we recommend it for all of our friends, we would also highly recommend the month wine tasting dinner, a great value and always new and innovative food.
Had an excellent meal. Everything was presented well, server was busy, but managed to do a good job tending to us and not hovering. The only draw back was noise level. Seated next to kitchen wall and it reflects room noise in affect increasing the background noise. Had to talk rather loud to compensate with several "what? I did not hear you". I would request seating in different location if seated there in future; that bad. Maybe cloth drape hung on wall would deaden noise level. Still enjoy bistro no frills ambiance just delicious food and good service. first time seated next to far wall.
We live close by but had never tried the Little Boston Bistro, so we decided we would try it for a nice Christmas dinner party for the two of us. We were seated on time as our reservation stated and the service was excellent. Maria, our server, was very attentive, the food served in a very timely manner, and the quality and flavor of the food was excellent. We are definitely planning on going back real soon. It's a great discovery for us.
Went to dinner prior to concert. Lovely decor and setting. Excellent service. Food was good. My husband enjoyed the catch of the day. Would have given 5 stars, but could still smell the cigarette smoke from the casino floor. Would like to have fine dining area and experience completely separate from smoking area.
Had a lovely dinner prior to a concert. Sherri was our waiter. She was attentive and delightful. The crab cakes were spot on. My husband loved the salmon which was also the fresh catch of the day. Creme brûlée for dessert...such a treat. I would have given it 5 stars for ambience, but you could smell cigarette smoke wafting in from the casino, which is expected in this setting. That is unfortunate, as the restaurant itself is spotless and nicely staged.
Our first visit was a memorable one. The dinner was great as was the Paul Revere's Raiders concert. Took a bit to get used to people smoking but we will definitely be back. I wish out casino, 7 cedars, had a concert venue. We look forward to our next visit....hopefully it won't be raining cats and dogs down and back.
We have attended several of the monthly wine pairing dinners, and this one with Hightower Cellars was one of our favorite. Most of the menu items were paired spot on with the wines, with the one exception being the dessert course. The smoked pork flatbread was outstanding, and it's not even something I would have ordered if I'd encountered it on the menu. The addition of the locally-sourced vegetables from Persephone Farms was truly genius! What a difference fresh makes!
We enjoy the food at the Bistro. The vegetables are delicious and not overcooked. The meals are tasty and generous. The salads are excellent. The service is usually very good, though a bit disappointing on this last visit. We love the early bird dinner special but now see it is not offered on the weekend anymore.
Had a great time with winemaker Victor Palencia from Jones of Washington. Victor came all the way from the Columbia Valley to bring 5 wines including his just released Rose' of syrah. The meal started with a very social environment and a Pinot Gris, we sat down and we're treated to dungeness crab cake that was to die for. Second course had a wedge of camembert cheese and a nice salad dressing served with Merlot. Moved into a roulade of blue footed chicken and a beautiful Cabernet and lastly was served a chocolate crumb cake with buttermilk icecream and a Syrah. Honestly I can't wait to come back and do it again next month!
My husband and I eat here at least twice a month and have enjoyed consistently good food and excellent service especially with Kelly and John. Great wine list, great steaks and usually fresh and tasty seafood. I would advise making reservations as it can be quite busy some nights.
Been to many places around the world and for a good steak diner and when it is hard to find one in your own county it is always something to review and pass on.
6oz filet cooked perfect medium rare, veggies still crunchy not mush, seafood cooked to order not over cooked. Wine list reasonable. Filet Mignon x 2, fresh cooked veggies, side, desert and bottle of wine for under $100...pretty good.
Normally not interested in the whole casino thing, opposed to the atmosphere and the smoke....entrance is separate from the rest of the casino and though dining area not huge, the friendly attitude coupled with the attentiveness of the staff makes the Bistro a place to return.
Ate Thanksgiving dinner here. The prices were reasonable and the wine pairing prices were a great deal. Although the food was not my idea of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, it was delicious except for a weird salad that looked like a wedge of red cabbage and tasteless bread pudding. I'm looking forward to coming here again.
My husband and I visit this restaurant frequently. The food is excellent and price point unbelievably good. Wine selection by glass or bottle is good and priced well below competing restaurants. It is small and connected to a casino, however it is a separate building and smoking is not allowed. The sautéed mushrooms are great and my favorite dish is the king crab legs. The scallops are wonderful as well. On our last visit there was only one server, but the service was still good. The manager pitched in and no one waited long for their meal or drinks. I definitely recommend trying it. It is hit or miss on available tables, so I would recommend reservations.
This was our second visit to the Little Boston Bistro at Point No Point Casino and it was even better than we remembered. We both ordered filet mignon and mine was cooked perfectly; my husband's was overdone to his taste. We enjoyed picking from the wide variety of side dishes to accompany our steak. It was great to find a good bottle of wine at a reasonable rate. Even though the Bistro is part of a casino, it has a separate entrance so you're not tempted to stop and gamble on your way to dinner!
Even though it is part of a casino there is a separate entrance for those who do not wish to walk through the noise and smoke.. Food is very good, attractive and well presented. Staff is friendly and the prices for food and wine are very reasonable. The lack of advertising keeps this gem under most people's radar.
Upscale dining in rural area. We always go for the "Early Bird Special", 4 to 6 pm. Four courses, you select what you want from each course, for a very reasonable price. The food has always be very good, filing, and nicely presented. Husband's favorite is the top sirloin, no complaints. I'm a bit of a foodie. I've been pleased with every selection except one with shrimp and some type of grain...flavors and texture didn't mesh. Seafood chowder is fantastic. Service is efficient and friendly. Definitely will return, may try larger menu.
This restaurant is part of a casino but has a separate entrance, so no need to even enter the casino if you do not want to. They are generous with birthday discounts for food. The service is terrific with very knowledgeable wait staff. The food is outstanding with an excellent choice of items and the Alaskan crab legs are not to be missed. The price point for meals and wines are exceptionally good. This was my fourth visit and it continues to be a great find. I highly recommend this restaurant. Reservations are recommended as they can be very busy.
