Had to eat here on the last night. My fiancé and I had our first date there and as a cook we came here for happy hour a lot. Best charcuterie board ever I am going to miss this place sooooo much. Thank you chef Rucker for the great food and great memories!
Unfortunately this was the last night Little Bird is open. We will miss the great gem in downtown Portland but will continue to visit their other restaurant locations.
It was a wonderful restaurant, but now it's closed. Thanks Little Bird!
Fantastic meal as usual. Quite sad that they just closed for good this past Sunday.
Wonderful food, immaculate service, too noisy and they’re closing today.
So sad to see that they're closing. I'm really going to miss this place!
Dark and noisy. Food overly seasoned, overly drenched in sauce. Ordered five things off menu and only one was appropriately dressed. Poor location Easy to understand why they are closing. Hope the food is not a reflection of the other location.
One of the best meals I have had all year! If you are a foodie you must come here and try the fried chicken trout. It is astounding! Will miss you Little Bird!
Nice place, with good food, but over priced and noisy.
Sad it is closing. I have enjoyed it every time I have gone through the years. Everything is inviting.
Great food, ambiance and service. Best wait staff ever. Sorry to see they are closing their doors forever
This was my first time visiting Little Bird, but it won’t be my last! I am celiac and had the half fried trout that is SAFE to eat! I can’t wait to try more menu items. I just wish they offered French Onion Soup!
Oh so very sad to see this gem close down. . . it is one of my favorites and when my friends visit from out of town we always go. . . we'll have to check out Canard and Le Pigeon now!
Why are you closing. We need a Little Bird on this side of the river. We love Canard but not the area. So sad to see you go!
They are closing, so don't worry about it. Food was ok, service less so. Exceedingly loud space.
My husband and I went to Little Bird for lunch for our anniversary! The meal was the best we’ve had in a really long time, and we loved the vibe! They even threw in some champagne at the end to help us celebrate! We are really bummed to see this place closing, but thankfully Le Pigeon and Canard will still be around!
This has been one of our favorites for many years, so we are sad that they are closing. Not surprisingly, we had an excellent meal with great service. The pecan pie was truly phenomenal.
Everyone that has enjoyed dining at Little Bird is saddened that it will close. One of the BEST restaurants in terms of cuisine, value and staff.
Very nice. Bone marrow and cod was just a beautiful combination
I am so sad they are closing since they are one of my favorite places in Portland and have the best Charcuterie board around!
Food was overcooked and did not have alot of flavor. Dishes ordered were not up to par to what was described and the price point did not match the quality.
So sad that they are closing. We love their food and drinks so much!
So sorry to see Little Bird go. I will miss it. But not the noise level!
We used to love this restaurant but in the last year or so it has fallen down in quality. The menu is strange the food quality is poor (like the steak frites dish was very poor quality meat and very tough for $39). The food arrived cold and it took a very long time to get served. Even the wine took forever to arrive leaving us to sit with nothing but water for about a half hour. Went for the last time just to say good-bye to what was a beautiful, wonderful restaurant at one time. Not surprised they are calling it quits. Hopefully their other restaurants will offer better.
So sad it's closing.
Too bad they're closing.
Server was phenomenal, so obsessed with her.. sad it’s closing :( Wish the lights were more dim
I would definitely come back again. Service was a bit slow but it was busy so not sure if that impacted that.
The staff, from the hostess to the bartender, to the servers all have an attitude. The food was slow in coming and bland and unimaginative. One side, the broccoli and corn, was so over spiced that all one could taste was garlic.
Give this place a pass.
I am so sorry that Little Bird will be closing, but our "last supper" was exceptional in every way!
I shall SO miss this place!
Oh why are they closing? So sad.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. The ambiance and service are wonderful. We have tried one of the sister restaurants but just not the same. Here we feel like we are in a lovely bistro in Paris!
Will be truly missed.
As always amazing. Too bad it’s closing
I am so sad that Little Bird is closing. This was my second visit and it was just as good as the first. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful and the cocktails were top notch. Excellent all around.
Lovely birthday dinner at Little Bird. The service and food were outstanding.
Please don't close! Please don't close! Please don't close! Please don't close! Please don't close! Please don't close! Please don't close! Please don't close! Please don't close!
Little Bird, you are a jewel, and I will miss you terribly. I treated myself to a late lunch downtown, and the host kindly seated me in the window. It was a perfect, sunny, early Fall afternoon. I could take in the whole restaurant from where I sat. Truly, this is the only place in town that makes me feel like I am in Paris. The chicken liver pate and chicken fried trout were both memorable.
Great food, with attentive friendly service. Would go back!
So sorry Little Bird is closing at the end of the month, it is the most French Bistro outside of France.
Over all a very good lunch experience. Good selection of wines by the glass.
Salad Nicoise was different than the usual with a bit of spicy ness with tuna.
Chicken fried trout, an unusual dish of trout fried like a fried chicken served with butter lettuce for a wrap. Very tasty.
