Little Alley Steak - Roswell
Creators of top OTP hotspots, Hicham Azhari and Fikret Kovac are digging into the past to create a relaxed, late 1800′s-inspired space. The former antique shop has been transformed with refurbished brick, reclaimed wood and white subway tiles, track lighting fashioned from meat hooks and seating areas of booths and tables situated between low walls.
The menu is top-notch, the drinks are divine, the atmosphere is warm and lively, and the experience is one you shouldn’t miss.
Unfortunately very disappointing first experience at this restaurant after a raving recommendation from a friend. Arrived at 7:55 for an 8PM reservation on a Wednesday night for an Anniversary celebration dinner. Were told there would be a 10 minute wait. The bar was packed, so waited outside. Were seated at 8:20. Waiter greeted us immediately and took and filled drink order quickly, but then another waiter showed up to take over as our server for remainder of meal. 2nd waiter did a good job of explaining menu and then disappeared for over 20 minutes. After waiting patiently, we flagged down our original waiter who very promotly and cordially took our food order. Within minutes, our 2nd server showed up and apologized saying "I cut myself". He somehow knew that out food order had been taken by original server. We saw no sign (bandage, etc) of his being cut on either arm or hand and we had seen him in other areas of the restaurant during his absence. Salads arrived after 9PM and entrees by around 9:30, all delivered by other servers. Our original waiter checked back more often than our second waiter. Food was okay , but honestly nothing to rave about and overpriced compared to other fine steak houses in Atlanta. We did receive a complimentary dessert to share for the special occasion delivered by yet another server who did wish us a happy anniversary. Left the restaurant close to 10:30PM. There was no management visit to our table.
Food was excellent, restaurant was busy so was a little loud, and the servers seemed to be busy/rushed at times, but overall had a great experience celebrating my husband’s birthday.
Our waitress Andy deserves a raise. Her service was phenomenal and she was a great addition to our delicious meal!
Fantastic food and drink on a fantastic night in Roswell!
Our server, Patrick, was outstanding! He was great at making recommendations and was super attentive. We enjoyed the entire evening.
The food, beverages, and deserts were great. The service atmosphere was great place for couples and families.
Little Alley in Roswell inconsistently good. We love the charcuterie board at brunch and we’re always impressed with the staff. Sitting outside on a nice day feels like you’re on a street in Italy or Provence. Highly recommend seating out front on a sunny day!
Had some issues but the manager more than made up for it.
Excellent as always. One of the best restaurants in the Atlanta metro area.
It truly pains me to say this because I have been a huge fan of Little Alley for years, but this is the third strike for me. After a previous poor experience at this location, and one at the Buckhead location, I brought my mom here for Mother's Day hoping they would step their game up and they just haven't. The crispy brussels and sautéed mushrooms were divine, but the tofu steak was the blandest thing I've ever been served at a higher caliber restaurant. I understand that this is a steak place, but if it's not even edible, don't put it on the menu(and certainly don't change $20 for it). Our wine glasses sat empty for the second portion of the meal, we were never approached about ordering another round. We did order a dessert and after about 20 minutes had passed, we tried to inquire about it, but the server gave my mom a rather rude brush off response and kept walking past our table. The table next to us also complained about the food and service(same server) and the manager proceeded to tell the table that the server was her best friend and it wasn't his fault. Unbelievable! Overall, there are just too many other great restaurants to choose from to have repeated mediocre experiences here.
Little Alley is one of my and my wife’s favorite restaurants. It has been consistently exceptional at each visit over the past several years. We’ve had everything from date nights to 15+ person Easter brunches there and each visit is better than the last. I love Little Alley, the food and service are best in class.
We had a great time at Little Ally Saturday for dinner. Our server Walter was great. He was attentive and knowledgeable. Walter is a huge asset to Little Ally and deserves five stars.
We used to rave about this place. Best steaks we've ever had but the last two times we've been there for lunch steaks have not been as tasty or tender as previously. We don't know if it's a factor of lunch versus dinner but definitely we've noticed a decline in the quality and preparation of the steaks. Side dishes and desserts are still wonderful but not enough to justify the price. I hope they can look and see what's going on because this was the best steakhouse we had ever been to previously.
Little Alley brunch is reasonable and delicious. They are accommodating with families with babies. Would definitely recommend.
Love this place steak is excellent, and a good vibe
My filet was the best I’ve ever had but you can’t order per your usual doneness. They undercook so go up one. My husband had a trio of steak that was not very good. Brussels sprouts and truffle fries great. I do wish they had lighter options on the side dishes and would have gluten free. Also it is extremely expensive so be prepared for that.
Absolutely amazing! Birthday celebration... best steaks ever had! Highly recommend
We dined at Little Alley first time this week. Food was outstanding with excellent presentation. Our waitress Andy was professional and attentive without hovering. We even had a pleasant and unexpected surprise at the end of the meal. We’ll be back
Great pre-Mothers Day dinner! Excellent food & service!
Brunch here is always amazing. The fillet (and eggs) was so tender it could be cut with a fork!
I've never experienced such terrible customer service before at any restaurant. Mohammad was horrible! He wouldnt address the women in our group, had a terribly smart attitude, and made our experience the worst ever. To think, I was SO excited about trying this restaurant for birthday. What a complete waste of an evening. Cold food and a complete unprofessional wait staff for $300.
Great steak and specials. Extensive bourbon/whiskey list. Sides are amazing as is service.
Andi provided great service with attention to detail. We’ll be requesting her our next visit! Oh, and the food was amazing, as always!
I have been to their Buckhead location for my brothers birthday, so I knew to expect excellence. The Roswell, their original location, has a ton of charm and old world mystique. Very high end steakhouse. Expect to pay $100 per person. Its so worth it. The best meal I've had in a while. I give it 2 thumbs up.
Great food and service as always. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice night out.
Patrick provided outstanding service. Food perfectly prepared and even threw in a creme burlee dessert for free as part of my husband’s birthday celebration.
Steaks were very good, ordered medium-well and came out around medium rare. The server guided us on how to order. Brussels sprouts were very good, didn’t like the sweet potato casserole much.
We went to celebrate a birthday. We love the ambiance and the service at Little Alley. I ordered the bone in rib eye. I thought for the price that it was a good steak, but not a great steak. It just didn't have the flavor that other top steak houses have. My boyfriend ordered a bone in strip and again for the price, it was not very tender. We have better steaks that we get from Fresh Market and cook ourselves. This is the 5th time we have been there and it seems every time I end up with the same opinion. They do have a good wine list
It was a Saturday night and they were super crowded. Had a reservation for 4 at 7:15 and were seated by 7:25. They sat us at the first booth on the bat side near the entrance. It was super loud and we could barely take to the other side of the table, partly because they were crowded and partly because we were on the bar side and near the entrance. The booth was very very tight and the table was narrow. I couldn’t even move my legs and or set my feet without stepping all over the person sitting across from me. I ordered the wedge salad and the porterhouse for $175 to share with others at the table. The salad was not a wedge, just a few pieces of wilted lettuce on a plate with sun-dried tomatoes. That was all. I complained and they brought me a side of bacon. What wedge salad doesn’t come with blue cheese or bacon? The porterhouse was underwhelming it was tough and had a chewy tendon vein running through the middle of the NY strip side that made it hard to eat. The filet side was not tender at all and over cooked. Very disappointed for what we got and the price tag. Was expecting a lot more. Overall it was a forgettable experience and I don’t think I will be going back anytime soon.
Little Alley is a good steak house. Service and ambiance are top notch. Where I fault it is two:
1) It's quite expensive. After a steak meal for 2 people with a bottle of wine (no dessert and only one salad to split as an appetizer,) the cost came to $225 plus tax. That's an awful lot considering how easy it is to make a good steak at home.
2) We had the garlic sautéed spinach. Barely tasted garlic, but I did taste a lot of salt. Everything quite salty, and I like salt, so if I say it's salty, it's pretty salty.
Expensive but amazing steaks! We sat outside and an umbrella blew over in my lap.. not expecting that when you are paying $70 for a steak
Great food and service.
Service was fantastic. Dinner and side were great. Bone Marrow appetizer was terrible. Barely any or none at all.
Our server was fantastic and knowledgeable
Always a pleasure dining here! Amazing food, service and atmosphere.
Amazing food and service in the coolest atmosphere
The shrimp cocktail was plump and very tasty, the strip steak I had was outstanding and cooked to perfection the lobster mac and cheese was out of this world. Also, the martini's at the bar were filled to the brim which is also a plus.
Always a favorite. The food and service is always excellent. It is also loud which you just have to know before you go there. But that doesn’t take away from the food and service. Highly recommended.
