   Party of 4 started with drinks which were all amazing. The Caprese Martini lived up to its name. We all ordered a different item from the brunch menu and they all were absolutely delicious. Our server was friendly and fun (her family was seated next to us). She recommended we return for the new dinner menu which we absolutely will be doing in the near future.

   We were excited to try Lira ever since the restaurant opened. We booked a table for 5 for the first time for lunch on Mother’s Day. We were well greeted and seated. The decor is really nice, especially the glass pendants and the illuminated granite bar. We had studied the menus for days. We were surprised to find out it was only a brunch menu. We ordered drinks right away, but the food was delivered before the drinks… Besides, the plates made their way to the table one at a time without rhyme or reason. The food was good but the lack of attention in service brought it down to an average experience overall. We will definitely try the traditional dinner experience soon though!

   Went for Mothers Day brunch. We were disappointed when the chicken & waffles sold out since the table next to us got the last order but we saw more plates of it come out and it looked delicious. Chicken is so common so weird that it sold out. The pork belly bowl was delicious but light on the pork belly and heavy on the sticky rice. My partner liked the salmon Benedict but took the caviar off (go figure) . The grilled shrimp salad was underwhelming and would not order again. Croissant bread pudding was delicious but had to ask for more sauce on side since it was dry. Sent an espresso martini back, not creamy at all and had a delicious tequila drink (bells, berries & harmony). Drinks are pricey but good. Food was reasonably priced.

   Very popular new restaurant, have been looking forward to dining there. They were out of the most popular appetizers and mains (no Hamachi or bone marrow and out of the surf and turf) - at 8 pm. The food was very good with some very interesting and unique tastes. However, way overpriced for both food quality and quantity. Will not be trying again.

   Tucker’s Restaurant “lira” is exquisite. It opened the end of January and the menu is 5⭐️. Unique cocktails, we had a Caprese Martini. We started with Hamachi crudo and Norma had roasted root salad on a bed of carrot purée. Next, Gnocchi that melts in your mouth. Perfect lamb loin on a bed of corn purée. Desert was Death by Chocolate flambé with 151 rum. I had affogato with Fra Angelico. All this with a great Amarone. The dining room is comfortable and feels special. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable and they come and fold your napkin when you go to the restroom. Tucker zooms through the restaurant talking with everyone. A great restaurant that is just waiting for Michelin recognition.

   Service was slow and food was over priced. BeSteakA is a far better value. Similar prices, but superior service, food and portions sizes.

   The food at Lira is wonderful! The cocktails delicious and the Somm Christian made a wonderful wine recommendation. We will be back!

   The decor and ambiance are very nice. Excellent bar and a nice selection of wines by the glass. The root vegetable salad was very good, but a tiny portion for $28. The pork belly was excellent, but the lamb was disappointing. It was quite bland and flavorless. All the items we ordered were very small portions. Very nice staff.

   This was our first (but not last) visit to Lira. The food was superb, with vibrant flavors and attractive presentations. My personal favorite dish was the scallops over hummus. Others in the group favored the red wine braised short ribs, the duck and farro or the jerk spice lamb. All were outstanding and do a great job showcasing Chef Tucker Ricchio’s skills. The cocktail program was creative and tasty. I had a Sichuan (sp?) Old Fashioned, which was very tasty. I hope to replicate it at home. Finally, I was struck by the exceptionally fairly priced wine list. There were excellent selections for virtually any budget. We look forward to returning to Lira any time we’re near the Bay Area.

    We enjoyed our experience here very much. We had the root vegetable salad, gnocchi, and braised wagyu short rib. Cocktails were excellent and a visit by the wonderful chef was a treat!
