    we came from NC (6 hour drive) and booked for Mother’s Day based on til tok reviews. We show up and the restaurant is CLOSED! I never got an email indicating the closure or anything. In fact i received an email asking me to confirm my reservation the day prior to our reservation so this makes no sense. I originally booked on 4/5 for Saturday may 13 then made a change to the reservation on 4/24 for same day different time and another change on 5/9 to change the date to 5/14. At no time was i notified it was closed!! Horrible Mother’s Day experience. We ended up having to order food from a restaurant to pick up because everywhere was booked. Bad service on the vendor and opentables end !

    I've been to Liora a few times and each time has been exceptional. The staff is very considerate of food allergies and consistently ensures satisfaction. The food is phenomenal but the ambiance and service make it a place to return to.

    It was our first time at Liora. A friend had given us a gift certificate as they knew we were vegan. Everything was absolutely delicious! So creative and beautiful atmosphere. Excellent service as well! We will definitely be back!

    I wanted to give them five stars so badly, because there just aren't enough good high end vegan places in this world. But we were sitting for almost 20 minutes before a server came over, and the tables were only half full. When we looked around, no one else seemed to have food, but two servers were regularly BOTH engaged at a nearby high table of eight guys who were out on the town and being a bit loud. The cocktails we each had were both terrible for different reasons; a thyme named one was so bitter it was undrinkable (and I like aperol and campari, so I am a friend to bitterness typically), while their "daiquiri" was a horrendous sugar bomb. We covertly quarter-poured each of our drinks into the other's to balance them each out, but this was seriously disappointing. True Daiquis are very balanced and delicate and customarily a delight, this was... It was horrendous. The spicy carrot marg was barely better, the carrot didn't go with the lime at all. Our soups and mains were delicious, and since they are a restaurant first, they get 4 stars for the food. But man, between the horrendous service from our actual waitress (the water guy was fantastic, we always had water in our cups), and those godawful bevies, I dont know I'd go back except for a nibble when dead empty.

    Delicious special occasion vegan restaurant I loved the Aleppo cauliflower dish and pray that the chef makes this a permanent addition. Kudos to the pastry chef as dessert never disappoints. I’m an omnivore, but love going to this restaurant!

    The service was very very slow. We waited 20 minutes for drinks and another extra 10-15 minutes for the food to come. The food came all at once (appetizers and main entrees) which is not how it should be. I was a bit embarrassed because I invited my sister and brother-in-law to Liora for the first time and they were not happy with the service. I don’t think they will be coming back.

    The food was delicious and delightful , the Salad I had with the Romaine lettuces and croutons taste like Cinnamon Toast Crunch 😂 very tasty. My Main dish was a Mexican dish and it was very palatable

    Everything about Liora is top-notch. The service is kind and puts you at ease. The cocktail list is unique. I selected “Give me a Beet,” which was very tasty. The snacks were a little on the small side for the price, but I guess that is why they’re listed under snacks. We chose the tacos and crispy brussels sprouts. They were both delicious. For our mains, my partner went with the bibimbap, and I had the maitake steak au poivre, and these both were the highlight of the meal. The depth of umami, smoke and crunchiness of the maitake will stick with me for quite some time. It was served alongside some crushed fingerling potatoes, and all married is a luxuriously creamy sauce. I only had one bite of the bibimbap, but the bite I had was enough to see why my partner was raving about it. The textures were great, and the slow heat and tingle from the kimchi were divine. This was our second visit to Liora, and it reminded us why we chose to come back.

    We were there for the Valentine's Day prix fixe menu, which sounded good. The servings were incredibly small - but tasted good - and came out very slowly. Plus the "wine pairing" was poorly handled: wine came out as much as 15 minutes before the tiny course and the glasses stacked up on the table. We are not novices to fine dining, but you shouldn't leave hungry. All for almost $300 for two people...

    Had a nice date here for Valentine's day. My partner is vegan so we were very excited about the food. We ordered the pre fixe menu. The service was a little slower than I'd like to see, though it was a busy evening for the restaurant. We had nearly a 10 minutes wait in between dishes. We both ordered from the zero proof drink menu and I'm almost certain my carrot drink had booze in it anyway. Not a huge deal as we only paid the zero proof price and I wasn't driving. But if you don't drink alcohol at all, it could have been an unpleasant error. With the exception of the 5th dish, everything was roughly a 2-3 bite portion, so quite small. The 5th dish was pasta and between that dish and dessert we left quite full. The dessert was the best thing on the table. Everything else was good but better in theory than in practice. I felt the food was generally lacking in refined flavor and had some issues with execution. Plating was quite odd in some cases, as well (full plate with pasta on one side and nothing on the other). The caviar blini had a whole sprig of dill on top that was very difficult to cut. If you want a bite with everything in it you had to work to get that dill into pieces. Remember, it's a vegan restaurant and the place setting includes just a butter knife. Better to plate it with a sprinkle versus a sprig in my opinion. Bathrooms are unisex, which is great. They could have been cleaner and there were construction issues that detract from the experience (faucet hardware not correctly installed, water damage to the sink countertop wood). For a place that otherwise looks well designed and pristine, you'd expect the bathrooms to be on point. All around probably 3.8/5 experience. It gives the air of chasing Michelin star status while falling short in every area. But it's also not Michelin star prices, so set yourself some realistic expectations and you'll have a wonderful meal.

    Tried all the small plates and sides except for cheese platter. Everything was good, nothing was outstanding. Didn't enjoy the remoulade sauce that came with crab cakes. Favorites were the fingerling potatoes and winter beet salad. Seemed way overpriced and overhyped.

    We were impressed with everything about this restaurant. The hostess and serving staff were welcoming, helpful and seemed happy which tells me a lot about a restaurant. The food was innovative and tasty and the drinks were creative and delicious. My husband is a vegetarian and it was such a nice change for him to be able to eat everything on the menu.

    The fingerling potatoes looked like grubs in mud. Very disgusting presentation. No menu prices listed online. Also we didn’t know that brunch was mandatory. We were very disappointed that we couldn’t order from the regular menu.

    The service was slow. We sat for an hour waiting for food. When it came, it was underwhelming. Our pancakes were burnt and the brunch menu was limited and only had options we could have made at home. Definitely did not look as sophisticated as the pictures on the site led us to believe.

    Liora is excellent on every level. My husband and I are not vegan, and we have eaten all over the world. Liora is definitely the most interesting restaurant experiences we may have ever had together. The food was impeccable.

    Highly recommend. Beautiful environment, welcoming staff. I felt so taken care of from the time I walked in the door to the time I came out. Love the mocktails and pumpkin pancakes and those vegan chocolate chip cookies are to die for. Looking forward to coming back!

    We enjoyed our dinner at Liora very much. The cheese plate was an excellent sharing dish, and we had tasty mocktails. The entrees were good, especially the butternut squash risotto, and the rum cake was satisfying and delicious. I thought that the menu was over-focused on trying to be what it doesn't need to be--substitutes for typical non-vegan dishes. I wished there were dishes that just celebrated vegan food in itself and didn't try to imitate regular cuisine. Service was attentive and friendly. We did not feel rushed and took our time with the meal. We were seated at a table even though our reservation was for the bar.

    We went to Loira on New Year’s Eve for dinner but we were disappointed that the only available menu was the Pre Fixed 5 course meal. We did enjoy the cocktails. That said the wait staff not dressed in in a professional manner- perhaps this in keep with the vegan restaurant.

    Limited but excellent menu. We shared the scallop mushrooms and had the bibimbop (spicy kimchee in the mix) and the maitake steak. Both were excellent and filling. Not heavy. Birthday celebration brought us a free dessert. Ambiance not particularly cozy, and the room got loud. Service was excellent.
