   Thank you for organising the gift voucher for an afternoon tea at such short notice. We all really enjoy our own afternoon tea and cakes whilst collecting the voucher, lol.

   Went to the lion rock while visiting cheddar , there were 7 of us, and it turned out to be a little gem, service was very good, and the food which was general food such as all day breakfast, spaghetti bolognase, sandwiches and cakes, but all was good,the restaurant has a 1950 feel about it, would definitely use the lion rock again, and would recommend this restaurant again

   I went to lion rock for afternoon tea with my husband. We were very disappointed the service was slow we had already booked in advance wish I hadn’t of bothered as they were trying to get as many customers in as they could. We ordered the celebration afternoon tea and it was more of a let down the cakes did not seem homemade overall a disappointment won’t be recommended this restaurant to anyone.

   Lovely tea rooms - also doing great all-day breakfasts and lunches in the heart of Cheddar, a stone's throw from the main cave entrance and other attractions of the Gorge. Lovely food - plentiful and good value with a fun 1940s/50s vibe to the place. Nice roof terrace area for when the weather's good. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Cheddar if going there for a day out
