View is deceiving. From the looks on the website and that actual view is night and day. From a out of towner experience, I wouldn’t recommend this. There are condos blocking the city view they claim to have. Disappointing.
Great place for dinner-dates or celebrations where the party is between two to six people. Food is delicious and placed well on the plate. Great ambiance that has a bit of art deco style. Fun location too. Drink selections are fun and they have some house frizzy non-alcoholic cocktails that are also pretty good. Get the devils on horseback if you love bacon and goat cheese.
It’s seemed like they were short staffed. Not the waitresses fault but it took quite awhile to get orders in.
Food service and everything was amazing. The cost is a bit high, and if it were a bit cheaper I’d go more often. But all in all, a really great place. Will return
Fantastic food! Wonderful service and all in a lovely setting!
Really enjoyed our brunch and very excited to go back and try the lunch and dinner menus.
Even though the menu did not include a couple of items that were there before the Covid shut down, the staff went out of their way to provide them. The beet salad and small donuts were very good as usual. Safety rules were also in effect so we had a very enjoyable lunch.
Took a friend to a very nice birthday dinner. The host read the notes and seated us at a nice table on the upstairs with views. The food was fantastic and tried a variety of wines to pair with them. I would certainly go back.
Linger is and has been a favorite of ours for years. We keep going back again and again and they never fail to deliver. I recently took a group of friends who'd never been, and they were blown away! I knew Linger was a sure thing, but it was fun to see them all enjoy it for the first time.
It has been 2 years since I have been to Linger due to a move out of state. I was excited to visit Linger and was NOT disappointed!! The ambiance was great. The food was terrific and drinks were amazing!! A fabulous evening out in Denver!!
Amazing Service! The food was great! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Great experience
Perfect place for incredibly flavorful food and the best hospitality. For business or a night out, Linger is the place for sure.
This place is a must for brunch! Be prepared for your atypical brunch. The bao buns were so soft and fluffy, the churro french toast had a lovely crunch, the bottomless mimosas flowed freely. Had a great espresso martini as well. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Super small plates at super high prices. Prices are for full-sized plates at surrounding restaurants, sorry.
Best meal I’ve had during the pandemic. The food and service were on point
Delicious food and awesome service. Great view from the rooftop
Always amazing! Linger is one of my favorite restaurants and this experience helped keep its status.
We were bummed that they only served brunch on the weekend, even though our reservation was for 1:45pm.
Great as always. The menu is still stellar. COVID precautions are in place. The lamb pita was great, as were the Korean bbq tacos. Devils on horseback is a must
We went for lunch at noon on a Friday, everything was great but they were only serving brunch. Most of the table would’ve preferred lunch, but we enjoyed the meal nonetheless. The food never disappoints.
Menu has a great selection with flavors from all over the world. We had reservations, but were told when we were seated that we only had the table for 90 minutes. We had really been hoping for a long, slow dinner where we got to hang for the evening and feel relaxed, so that was a bummer for us. We did enjoy the irony that the restaurant is called Linger but there is a time limit on dining, ha! With how much great food Denver has to offer, I probably wouldn’t do Linger again because of that.
Linger did a fantastic job. The staff is so friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. They had a really high standards for social distancing and cleanliness. The food was delicious, unique, and beautifully presented. Highly recommend!
great place but many of the tables indoors are not spaced out enough to provide at least six feet between groups of people. we ended up asking to be moved to the roof where they have plastic igloos enclosing the tables - much safer up there.
Amazing food as always. We can for lunch on a Friday, turned out they had brunch going - we were not disappointed.
We came here for brunch and were told brunch was no longer available at 11:50 am. We left and the server apologized for not being able to do anything when he didn’t even make an apparent attempt to accommodate us.
I’m not sure who stops serving brunch at 11:50 am but that is just unheard of. The staff all had an attitude and/or seemed flustered
Had a nice evening with my guest. Will go back again.
Food was phenomenal. Service was beyond amazing. Rooftop was breathtaking.
Great food. Unique and delicious. Would definitely recommend.
The vibe is great, modern with a very interesting menu. We were told we only had 90min at the table which would have been fine if it didn’t start out so painfully slow. Took a while to get our first round of drinks and food. That took 45 min just for those two things. Second course came quicker and second cocktail. Then it got slow again and the wait for someone to clear and order desert was painfully slow. While we were waiting for desert the host or manger came to our table to say our time had been up. I simply stated we can take our desert to go? And it came out few min later. All in all good food but don’t rush people to leave when service is slow. Server was nice though made good recommendations.
Being from the East Coast and eating in NYC, Philly, Baltimore and DC, I am extremely picky about brunch I’m Denver; however Linger has it all figured out. From the small yet yet wide array of brunch items to their New Saigon cocktail to the restaurant’s aesthetic - I am never disappointed. I do wish they were one or two more vegetarian brunch items, but otherwise I absolutely love this spot!
Poorly trained waiter. Fish and Chips was a good addition to the menu, but serving the cole slaw on the paper liner of a wire basket was very bad presentation and almost impossible to eat. A ramekin or small bowl would be better.
The food fabulous, Devils on Horseback always delicious!!! Just a little misguided by server and had to send items back :(
Love the igloos up top - perfect for spring. I hope they bring these back every winter to allow for indoor/outdoor seating.
Loved everything about Linger. Will go back if I’m ever in Denver again.
I would have loved to provide Linger with 5 stars, but due to poor service my overall rating was a 3.
The server didn’t tell us her name and we only saw her twice- once to take our order and the other for the check.
Not to mention, we waited about 10 minutes to even be greeted. If it weren’t for the recommendations I received to dine at Linger we would have left.
Now, on the other hand, the food was delicious. The menu is very eclectic and I enjoyed how a majority of the menu selections can be made vegan. We tried the bao buns and lettuce wraps, both were phenomenal.
Lastly, the ambiance was great! I love the low lighting and felt comfortable with the seating arrangements.
If Linger were local, I would surely return.
Definitely should win a stay open and be safe covid award- great setup, many individual bubbles on the deck with a space heater, awesome food and great service.
Food was outstanding as always. Lunch service was friendly but a little slower than normal. Tents kinda kill the patio vibe during the day. Would probably have sat indoors had we known patio was still “tents on patio.” Maybe we didn’t think that through. Anyhow...we’ll be back!
Absolutely delicious. Tried something from each section of the menu and they were all tops. We'll be back!
I come here all the time and I’ve yet to have a poor experience. The staff is always friendly and the food is amazing.
I really don’t understand the hype of this place. The staff was wonderful and it was a fun lively place, but the drinks and food were average and I left feeling hungry despite spending $100+. If you’re looking for more than small plates and want an actual entree, this place probably isn’t for you.
