Linger now offers lunch!!!! Tuesday - Friday 11:30 am till 2:30 pm.
What Insiders Are Saying
Do you need us to tell you about Linger? Not unless you moved here yesterday. Oh, right, you probably did move here yesterday.
Great location, great city views from the deck. I’d recommend for lunch and drinks but not dinner. Service was incredibly slow for drinks and food. 10-20 minutes for a beer or glass of wine. I don’t believe that is the fault in our server but the restaurant. Their tapas style for dinner is overpriced for what you get in my opinion. However, the food is delicious.
I won’t be going back to Linger for awhile. I feel like it’s a restaurant that has rested on its laurels (particularly compared to other restaurants in this group, eg Root Down, Family Jones, etc) and it’s just not that great. Yes, awesome ambience and interesting flavors, but service can be sub par and pricing is high considering the food quality and overall experience.
The past two times I’ve been here I feel like it’s declined. Why is it $5 for a side of fruit including sliced McDonald-like apples, a few orange slices and one strawberry? Felt like Cisco quality ingredients. Really odd for summer, too, when one would expect berries, grapes...melon...something reflective of the season. My breakfast dosa was fine, eggs were over-cooked, but not awesome. The highlight was the donut holes, but $11 for 5-6? I don’t think so. Service was extremely slow for food and drinks. My latte cup came out with lipstick all over it so I had to ask for a new one.
Just not worth the money given the overall quality, experience and service.
Service was very slow. I understand it was a Saturday night but after we had been there for about an hour the restaurant cleared out and our service was still slow.
Waiter never even ask if we wanted another round of drinks. If he had asked he would have probably made at least another $100. People sitting next to us were very rude. Food was ok. Overall wouldn’t recommend and probably won’t be back.
The server was very knowledgeable and helped us navigate the extensive menu. We got potstickers, lamb kabobs, Korean beef tacos, lettuce wraps and the bacon wrapped dates. The dates and lamb were fabulous. The others were ok. Overall it was an enjoyable evening.
There should be one or two different flavors of the Thai shaved ice for kids. Coconut and Black Sesame shouldn't be the only ones.
Jake was a great server. He was knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions in response to our questions regarding the menu. Food was prepared well and delivered on the menu advertised taste presente!.
When it rains it pours! The rainy weather obviously brought in the crowd on this busy Saturday. Our poor server had way too many tables. It took 25-30 minutes just to get drinks. And nearly as long for the food. She was however wonderfully kind and even brought us a little taste of caramel pots de crème for the notorious long wait and my friend's birthday. Our meals were delicious! We has chorizo tacos, hangover ramen, breakfast dosa and shared the French toast.
Awesome as usual
AHHHHMMMMAAAAZING! Delicious! Creative and clever themed restaurant. Must have shisito and fried cheese curds as an appetizer!!!
Great views, stellar service, and wonderfully prepared food. We'll be back for sure. This was a great setting for a business lunch.
The food is fantastic - bao buns were delicious so we’re the sliders. Service was a little slow. It was nice to not have someone bothering you all the time but also made it difficult when you needed to order something and hadn’t seen your server in 15 minutes.
Fun place with tasty bites from all over the world. The restaurant gets a little loud when its busy and the food comes out a little slowly but it gave us time to savor each dish and talk about how much we liked it. Portion sizes vary widely so make sure to ask before ordering something if you are sharing.
Great meal and service. Sometimes the presentation makes it more difficult to eat the food, but everything we tried was so delicious that we didn’t mind!
My husband met a client and reported that the salad was very average and for an extra charge he added grilled chicken that was also very ordinary. He was expecting much more. End result, overpriced and disappointing!
We are a family of four, with children, on vacation. This was a fun eating experience! Our waitress was amazing- she was present to answer questions, but didn’t hover. We ordered several small plates and enjoyed trying several things. The bbq duck bao buns were hands down, the favorite for all of us! They did have a kids menu, which was great. That wasn’t on their website. Really enjoyed our dinner, and would come back if in the area!
Amazing views, fun neighborhood, and everything we had was delicious. It was our second visit and I'm sure we'll be back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Linger experience. Even though it was Fathers Day and busy we did not feel rushed. Loved the menu!!!! Delicious food!!! What else could one ask for? Only suggestion would be to have more than 1 valet during busy times. We waited about 25” for our car. Not the valet’s fault. He was just terribly busy and knew people were waiting. Very apologetic and considerate.
It was my daughters birthday and Father’s Day. We wanted to do a small desert for my daughter and I don’t think the server understood what birthdays are for kids- she put it in the dessert in front of my daughter while I was trying to sing and said “okay, blow it out” just wasn’t what I envisioned. The server also added a bottomless mimosa to our bill that we never ordered. All in all the food was good- service was meh.
We love our food experience at Linger, which is why we keep going back there. Great food!!
Super yummy food! Went for brunch and really enjoyed all we got! Great drinks and atmosphere!
It took us 20 minutes to get water once we were seated and then another 20 for drinks. By the time our bottle of wine arrived, we were starting to get our food. We also got sat at a strange table with a post in the middle of it, which was a bit awkward. Additionally, our server didn't listen and got our order wrong (brought 3 of everything, instead of 1 of each to share - everything is tapas style on the menu), so we really only got to try a couple of items. The bit of food we did have was fantastic - I'm hopeful the service will be better if we go back.
Food was great, service was slow (even with reservations).
Small plates equals shareable plates, who does not like that. Sarah S. was an awesome and amazing server. Her recommendations were spot on and the tiki drink was great (The Ipanema Girl). Little Man ice cream had swing music playing below and with the roll-ups open at Linger it made for a very festive evening.
This was probably the third time I’ve been to Linger and it never disappoints! We ordered 5 different small plates and every single one of them were delicious! The drinks were spot on and mixed perfectly. We will definitely be back.
It was Pride weekend. The service was atrocious although the food was flavoursome. I had to respectfully inform the waiter that he didn’t just have one table to wait and my party & I would greatly appreciate him being more attentive. I wouldn’t bother going back, as the first time I ever went to Linger, it was a mediocre experience at best.
The next day I announced that dinner was ‘one for the ages’! The combination of food, service, drinks, and seating were superb! We were right on the open balcony next to the outdoor movie. That was fun to watch. The waiter was entertaining and attentive, he told his favorites and not so favorites, but promised he wouldn’t judge! We had lots appetizers, all really good . International street food doesn’t tell the half of it! Highly recommend this place!
It was our anniversary and we chose Linger because there was several Vegan options on your menu. We were not disappointed. We had the Beet Salad and the Dosa which were amazing. For dessert we had the chocolate bars which were just perfect for a bit of sweet. Our waitress and the wait staff were great and very attentive. The atmosphere is always fun and we had a table by the window so we could watch all the people outside waiting in line for ice cream!
Every bite was spectacular. Tried some things I wasn’t sure I’d like and Ioved it all.
Great atmosphere, good service, a great evening.
I went to Linger for lunch on a Thursday, which is a calm time to go.
We ordered the bao buns, pork belly, duck, and Korean fried chicken. The buns were delicious. I think they may have altered the taste of our meal, since our meal wasn't as flavorful as I thought it would be. I order the lamb kabobs, they were alright. I couldn't call them bad, but I wouldn't call them good. They were a little bland and it felt like something was missing. The pita the kabobs were served on were fresh and wonderful. The other item our table ordered was the Korean tacos, they left a little something to be desired. Maybe kimchi or pickled cabbage could kick it up a notch. The alcoholic beverages we ordered were great. They weren't overly sweet and had great flavor.
Our waiter was very kind. He went through the menu with us and described the popular dishes and origins of the food we were eating. Everyone working at the restaurant that day was very welcoming and kind.
Still amazing, love going there every time I am in Denver!
One of the best and most unique dining experiences I've had in a while. HIGHLY recommend.
Happy hour food was delicious and a very good deal! They were extremely accommodating to my unexpectedly large party, and they provided an adorable and delicious dessert for my b-day! Thank you, what an incredible place!
Amazing service & delicious food! We’ll be back again!
James was our waiter and he was terrific - friendly, patient and knowledgeable in answering questions. We'll request him when we return if he's available. First time at Linger. It was fun and we'll definitely return.
The food wasn’t quite as good as the first time we went in for dinner. This time we had lunch and my sliders were a little bland and my waffle fries were undercooked. Still pretty good food though and I’ll definitely go back again- maybe next time for dinner though.
The food was amazing and the thoughtfulness of the staff was welcomed since my wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary.
I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes.
Wonderful location with an urban vibe. Highly recommend the duck sharable.
Creative menu and nice (but very noisy) atmosphere. Food was good but was at room temperature when it arrived at the table. The waiter was friendly but made a mistake on our order. Overall, a nice
Brunch was good but we waited an hour after being seated before being served our food.
