Linger now offers lunch!!!! Tuesday - Friday 11:30 am till 2:30 pm.
What Insiders Are Saying
Do you need us to tell you about Linger? Not unless you moved here yesterday. Oh, right, you probably did move here yesterday.
Asked for a table on the first floor, was told our best bet was to go upstairs. Asked for a table upstairs, we were put on a waitlist that was supposed to take 30 minutes. Went to the roof to have drinks while waiting, never got a call. Came onto OpenTable and saw a reservation that would be available in the next 15 minutes. Reserved that, went back to 1st floor and got our table. So difficult. But food is above average and is served quickly. They need to work on seating.
Was surprised about the food selection and how our server said each item is meant to be shared and in reality you cannot share the food, there is not enough. Ordered the shrimp and there were 8 small shrimp and then the lettuce wraps there were 3 wraps. We went in for dinner and this really was more like appetizers. Heard so much about here and I grew up in the North Denver area and was very disappointed;
High energy and joyful atmosphere - food is always inventive and delicious. Service was a lacking on Easter Sunday, we waited a long time to order and then a long time to get the food. We were deep into conversation and did not realize we were the last ones in the restaurant at the end of brunch. Best practice is for wait staff to periodically stop by with more coffee and water (so we can realize we need to leave), but our server was not particularly engaged with us, except to take the paid check while we were still at the table (a no-no at find dining restaurants). Otherwise it's usually a delightful experience.
We were in town for the weekend and came to Linger for Easter brunch. The food was amazing, and the bottomless mimosas as well! Would definitely recommend
Great food and atmosphere! The service was wonderful, and the history behind the restaurant is very interesting. The price for dinner for two was beyond reasonable. Definitely recommend and plan to visit again when I return to Denver.
One of our favorite restaurants! We live in Loveland but come down a few times a month! Always treat us wonderfully 🙏🏻 And the food is great and is such a good option for all of my allergies and being vegan!!!
Unique experience and a great place to catch up with friends in a new environment.
Delicious food - creative menu
Linger is unmatched when it comes to the variety of dishes on the menu. All delicious.
The location has some parking issues but the whole area is somewhat challenged in the same way. The layout of the restaurant does cause some serving issues -- the bar can be a significant distance from many tables and leads to delays in service. The restaurant should consider instituting bar runners to alleviate this issue but I doubt they will implement any changes. The food is very good -- small to medium sized plates. The cuisine is international and leans toward foodies - this isn't a meat and potatoes restaurant. The rooftop lounge is a good size and has an excellent view of the city and the surrounding areas. Reservations are recommended for most days, a must on weekends. It's a fun spot located near many other fun spots.
Fantastic food and service
Severe peanut allergy, written on open table and addressed with the server at the beginning of dinner. We ordered plates that did not list peanuts on the menu. We received a few plates and shared them, including the guest with the peanut allergy. The server came back and told the guest with the peanut allergy that everything that HE ordered was specifically peanut free. We asked about the dishes that everyone else had ordered, and the server could not guarantee that the other dishes did not have peanuts in them even though we ordered dishes without peanuts listed on the menu. We received an allergy menu, but this also could not guarantee that our dishes did not have peanuts based on how the allergy menu is written. This caused the guest with the peanut allergy extreme distress as he is deathly allergic to peanuts and ingesting peanuts could have him hospitalized. After talking with two other servers who could not guarantee the guest did not Ingest any peanuts, the manager came to clarify that NONE of the plates had any peanuts in them and that this could have all been avoided with better education of the staff.
Food is always exceptional. So is the service. This last visit, Sarah was our server, and she was particularly great!
I love the mix of international foods.
A great place to hang out on the weekend for brunch, after work or for a fun dinner with friends.
Good enough. Solid Sunday brunch.
Normally we have a great experience at Linger but this time was sub par. We have taken a lot of our friends and family here over the past few months when they visit and usually receive top notch service and always delicious food. The last time we had a party of 11 and they sent out complimentary appetizers because we had to wait a few extra minutes to be seated. This time that was not the case. The service was not as good as it usually is and all of our food was cold. I was super disappointed because we brought my boyfriend's parents here and that was their first impression. We'll be back but hoping for a better experience next go around as this was probably a one-off.
Cool atmosphere but the brunch menu is somewhat limited and I wasn't overly impressed with the food itself. Wasn't terrible but not sure I would come back for brunch again.
Great food options, smaller portions so fun to get 2-3 dishes and share with someone.
Went on prom night and had an amazing time! Everything we ordered was gone in minutes since it was so good. Will be coming again in the future.
The food was great as always. The bloody orange mimosas are horrible-the juice has a chemical aftertaste. Service was fantastic!
Great service, food and ambiance. Need to remember that if you want to do happy hour you need to get there close to 4pm though!
Delicious food and excellent services. Loved the Patagonia “gin” and tonic.
The food is amazing and so interesting. Some portions can be challenging to split for two (i.e. three tacos) so it would be nice if they posed the option to pay up for even numbers of items. We were initially shown the half off wine list and were then told that we were given the wrong menu and wine wasn’t half off that day. I was a little surprised we weren’t offered something in concession since the expectation was set. I will definitely go back, but hopefully with a bit warmer service!
Linger was recommended by several people and did not disappoint! It was an excellent choice for a first date! We will definitely be back.
Our waiter was not very friendly or attentive. Great food and ambience, though.
Linger has a fun menu and it is a great setting. Unfortunately service was lacking ultimately due to a problem with the credit card machine. Linger's problem became a customer problem as they were far more concerned with money than they were the customer experience.
Nice atmosphere, great service. The food is unique and very good. We had 5 in our party and were quite comfortable and not rushed at all. Great experience.
Fantastic food with a really cool vibe in the room. Love the interior design!
Great Bao Buns!!! The view is amazing! Cool atmosphere 10/10
Did the "Feed me" menu from our boy Ethan. Every dish was awesome and the kitchen had food rolling out at an awesome pace. We were full and satisfied. 10/10 would get blasted and bash food again.
A fun restaurant with very interesting small plates. Good vibe in a happening Denver neighborhood.
Consistently good, Linger offers a nice variety of shareable plates. Tasty cocktails and wine options. Parking is an issue in this busy, residential Lower Highlands neighborhood. Valet parking is available, however on a recent night there was only one valet working which made for a long, chaotic wait to retrieve or drop off a car. Reservations for dinner recommended.
Always incredible and one of my favorite restaurants in Denver.
Fun, nitchy vibe. If you are looking for someplace completely DIFFERENT than the rest Linger fits that description. The service is stellar, food was amazing. Could not ask for anything more!
Linger has a nice ambience and the service we had was great - helpful and friendly. The food was a little disappointing. The power salad had too much cabbage and the seasonings didn't seem to work together that well. The tostadas were delicious but the pot stickers were a little disappointing as well. I would go here again but it wasn't as good as I expected.
I have silly yak and this was a very accommodating restaurant with a delicious preparation of an Outstanding experience
I’ve had dinner here few months ago and brunch last Sunday. The food was delicious, our waiter Ethan was very nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend this place to my friends!
If you’re at all a fan of eastern flavors this place is an absolute must. It’s creative, delicious and unlike any other place in town. The kitchen must have the biggest walk in ever to store flavors from India, Africa, Thailand, China and the Mediterranean all in one place.
Our service was awful. There must have been an issue with the kitchen because I don't believe it was our actual server as she was very apologetic and tentative. We went here with a group of ten to celebrate an engagement. Our food took over an hour to arrive after placing it, and three of us (myself, groom to be, and bride to be) had to wait an additional 45 minutes for our food. Not to mention when it finally arrived it was cold and disgusting. How does it take almost two hours for 2 bao buns, then they come out cold and unappetizing? It was our second bad experience there and we would definitely not recommend. Especially not if you are celebrating and want everyone to enjoy their time and EAT TOGETHER and be able to drink TOGETHER.
An excellent experience from start to finish. I had previously looked into Linger's reviews and saw how well they were rated by many patrons. I can say that I was more than impressed by the food, service and overall atmosphere at Linger's; I had such a great experience that I might just have to consider returning for my next birthday.
