   The waitress for our afternoon tea was a stark contrast to the evening before. This waitress was amazing and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. The afternoon tea itself was beautiful quality but probably over priced. It was for a special occasion so was happy to pay.

   As I wanted to pay for the whole stay before attending, I went onto the hotel website and noticed a meal deal for two people in the restaurant. As the deal looked very good I purchased the voucher and looked forward to the meal. Having booked a table, we duly turned up and, before ordering I mentioned about the voucher and asked what we were entitled to. The young waitress asked a more senior waitress who, quite obnoxiously asked to see the voucher and said she had never seen one like that before (it had been purchased from the Frimley Hall website?). She then asked me to send it via email to reception so they could print it? We were then treated, we felt, like second class citizens by the senior waitress for the whole meal. She seemed incredibly grumpy and made it not a nice experience. She said very loudly what we could and couldn't have off the menu, what the added supplements would be, which is fine, then when asked about the wine included in the voucher she loudly and gruffly said it would be the house wine only with no mention of any other options. As it turns out, the food we ordered was exceptional quality and the house wine was beautiful. The senior waitress spoiled what should have been a lovely evening experience....

   We joined the hotel for afternoon tea. More than enough choice of sandwiches and cakes and scones. We were lucky we went on a very sunny day so could finish our tea in the garden in the Sun. Service was exceptional staff friendly I'm willing to help.

   Went for a birthday meal, My girlfriend's steak was completely cold as I'd it had been left out. Staff were helpful and didn't charge us for the steak but didn't seem like they had been trained / knew what they were doing. Other than that food was ok, given the price and location I was expecting it to be much higher quality than it was. Staff were very friendly just seems like they need better management.

   We asked for scones and sandwiches only as we prefer savoury. We were nicely catered for accordingly. Had an enjoyable visit once again. Thank you.

   We took our grandson to the Linden restaurant to celebrate his birthday. We were warmly greeted and shown to a very pleasant table. Although the menu is not extensive, the quality of the food was excellent. Our young waiter was cheerful, helpful and efficient. As the restaurant was almost empty, it lacked atmosphere and was rather chilly.

    Food was not great The bar and restaurant shared the same menu, there wasn’t much to pick From, it claims that the menu is inspired from a Michelin star restaurant however the food tasted like M&S microwaved curry Very dissapointed overall…
