   This is a very nice restaurant located in Scottsdale at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa Camelback. It is not inexpensive but we knew that going in. The staff were wonderful, very accommodating. My steak was ordered medium rare, came to me rare. It was taken back to the kitchen and came back to me 10 minutes later and it was prepared medium rare. I guess I have an issue with spending 400.00 for a meal and having my husband eat his meal while I wait for mine to be prepared the way I initially ordered it. If I was eating at a Texas Roadhouse I would understand that a bit more, but not a "Steakhouse" with 70.00 steaks.. Again, staff were great but no excuse in my world for an undercooked steak soon after opening. My husbands was prepared correctly, mine was not.

   Great restaurant. Beautiful setting. Delicious food. Top notch service. I applaud this restaurant for not using seed oils with the exception of their fryer. Hopefully that will change to beef tallow soon. Looking forward to our next visit, we are locals.

   Relaxing dinner. Not rushed. Although got a text my table was ready 25 minutes before my reservation wanted to know if I was on my way

   We really enjoyed Kawain, service was excellent. We had a beautiful view! The dinner was great.

   Good ribeye. Great popovers to start the meal. Lamb and salmon also good - sides tasty as well. Our server Wayne was very accommodating and fun. We sat by the widows , which has lovely view of Camelback mountain - however the noise level at this location was very loud. There are other seatings(booths , for example ) that may be quieter .

   First Wayne is the best!!! Food was wonderful (ate too much)!!! The view was incredible (thanks Anya) I’ll be back for an outdoor session soon. R

   We were skeptical before going being in a resort. However this restaurant was amazing. First the views are incredible. The staff from the moment we arrived until the moment we left were always around helpful in decisions about wine cocktails and food choices. Our waiter Austin was outstanding. Friendly, fun and always on top of our table with whatever we needed. The food was incredible. The best lamb chops I have ever had and the rest of table had different steaks all with no complaints and complete enjoyment. We were celebrating two birthdays and Austin and and the assistant manager were so gracious and helped us celebrate. Thank you all for such a joyous and fun evening.

    Top dinner experience from start to finish. Excellent recommends from our waiter paved the way to a fabulous meal. Lobster escargot, specialty salads and delicious steaks and sides. Expensive but worth the money. Nice ambience and located at the beautiful JW Marriott at Camelback Mountain. Highly recommend
