Great dining experience. Service and food was top notch.
Service was great. Wayne took great care of us. Will go back again.
Outstanding experience overall with this restaurant! First, we had to expand my reservation at the last minute and they took care of it right away after I left them a voicemail. When we arrived, we were seated at a great table outside and Wayne, our server took the very best care of us! His service was outstanding-which included some special treats as it was one of our colleagues birthdays. The lobster escargot, the rolls, just really everything was delicious. Besides this being a great hotel, the Steakhouse does not disappoint! We were still talking about the great service the next day!
We expected a premium price but the menu and ambiance was not worth it. It was a one page, like a bar menu, and the outdoor tables overlook the parking lot. Good service
The servers were great. Noise was extremely loud because of the open room and other parties. The food was not very tender or flavorful. The price is very high for the quality of the food.
Wayne was our waiter, he was amazing! Food was delicious and ambiance was exquisite.
Wait staff were excellent...brought me gluten-free bread...advice on wine selection was excellent...loved our steaks & patio seating was nice.
Very Good food. Great venue. Good experience. Would recommend and return again.
Great food and service. We dined on the back patio which is a great setting. Our server, Wayne, was excellent.
Very pleasant room, great views of the mountain and sunset, attentive service and good food. What’s not to like?
My wife, my sister in law and I went saturday night and were very hopeful of a good meal. we didn't get it.
I had a steak and it was good but was advertised (and priced) as a 12 oz it was very small. My guess would be smaller than 8oz. so it was very expensive!
My wife had the short rib rigatoni and it was so salty it had to go back. The replacement was the same making that meal uneatable. It stayed on the bill though making it a very, very expensive meal.
Ambiance was top notch and the noise level was low but we wont be back.
We are rating the overall experience a 2 because our main entree took an hour to be served. It is unclear as to why and this is the disappointment in the experience.
Great atmosphere and service. The food was simple but incredible, just how I like it. We were celebrating a special occasion and our server took great care of us. Highly reccommend!
Excellent service, very good food
Romantic atmosphere with great service and spectacular view. Meal was superb from lobster escargot appetizer to Dover Sole entree to lemon bombe and chocolate cake dessert. Our waiter was awesome and provided excellent service. Would definitely recommend.
My wife and I were staying at the JW for our 5-year anniversary trip to Scottsdale. We had dinner out on the patio at Lincoln our first night in (traveling from Florida). The views of Camelback mountain and watching the sunset from our table was stunning. Huge wine/cocktail list, plenty to choose from; my wife loved her wine and my bourbon pour was generous. Menu is over-priced but this is a resort steakhouse so it is to be expected. My salmon dish was delicious but my wife ordered the filet and it was dry. Expected more from an almost $60 steak. Adding to the bill is that entrees do not come with sides. We ordered brussels and potato gratin, both were fine but not memorable. Our service was good, expected level given the price point. I would recommend Lincoln for the views alone, make sure you sit outside and time your reservation for sunset!
From the moment we arrived we were treated wonderfully. A very knowledgeable server with answers to all of our questions and recommendations when asked.
Water constantly filled and empty plates quickly and quietly removed. The next thing I knew 2 hours had passed but we never felt like we were waiting for anything.
A wonderful evening.
Our service was friendly, attentive and relaxed. The décor is comfortable and sophisticated. The Lobster escargot is a signature appetizer that I highly recommend. We all had steaks for our main course that were amazingly tender and flavorful. Also, a very nice wine list.
Everything was amazing! Service great and food was perfection.
Great food and great service! Can’t wait to return!
Fiancé birthday celebration
Anthony, Jeffrey, Emily and Ricky really made out 40th wedding anniversary extra special! The patio was beautiful that evening, sunsets, full moon and hummingbirds! Can’t wait to come back!! Be sure to order the lobster escargot!
If you arrive early for a reservation and choose to wait at the bar, make sure you check in with the hostess regularly. We arrived at 8:08 for an 8:45 reservation. We waited at the bar and at 8:55 we realized the hostess had forgotten to seat us. Once we were seated, all was great. Matt was an exceptional server who is knowledgeable about the menu, the cooking techniques used in the kitchen, and the wine list. The Dover Sole is out of this world. And if you're hesitant about a piece of fish with a $65 price tag, don't be. You'll never prepare a piece of fish like this at home. Perfect temperature, fantastic flavors, and a very generous portion. Can't wait to go back and order it again. Pair it with the Brussel Sprouts (with chunks of pork). We also ordered the side of asparagus and "Oscar-Styled" it. The apple dessert was delicious.
Great food. Very rich but amazing.
Sam and Wayne were amazing! The lobster escargot was delicious and they treated my bday dinner so special with a candle on my champagne and complimentary dessert. The food was delicious and service was great! Definitely recommend in Scottsdale!
Very professional service. Food was excellent! Great atmosphere. Our sever Matt was polite, professional and patient. Thank you for offering a great dining experience
Everything was amazing! The smoked meat and cheese platter along with Lobster Escargot were perfect starts to a divine meal. Had filet, au gratin potatoes, and roasted asparagus for the main course. Too full to even think about dessert, but they had some heavenly choices. Highly recommend.
Matt was a very good server. The steaks and oysters were excellent. Best steakhouse in the Phoenix area.
We were pleasantly surprised by our dinner at Lincoln Steakhouse. More often than not, restaurants in hotels are expensive but don’t deliver on the experience. Lincoln Steakhouse did. The waiter was exceptional as were all the staff. The food was very good, especially the filet! Caesar salad exceeded expectations as did their specialty bread. When you throw in the outstanding view of Camelback mountain, this is a special evening. Pricing is on par with venues like Mastro’s, so bring your wallet. We had a wonderful time and will be back!
We were a party of 8, decided to dine here because they accepted our reservations and we read raving reviews. I consider myself a food snob, especially when I comes to steakhouses. I’ve had been to some of the most amazing steakhouse from Denver, Napa/Sanoma wine country, a few in Chicago, to even close by me in Madison. Out of all the fine steakhouses, this would be listed at the bottom. I really was convinced this would be Prime grade. But it didn’t even seem to be Choice. I had the ribeye and I asked for 2 degrees cooler than Medium, and it was between medium and medium-well. Another individual asked for the same and his looked perfect. Seared Foie Gras was a huge disappointment. I’ve loved Foie Gras any other time. Fries were delicious! The Parmesan truffle came through beautifully. My wife had the Filet and it was more rare than Medium Rare. It doesn’t bother me, but I did notice there were those in our party that didn’t finish because of how rare theirs was. We ordered a bottle of Caymus. They waiter was kind enough to comp us an upgrade of a 1 Liter bottle for a 750ml price. That was very nice of him to do that. The wine itself was probably more of an expectation issue on my wife and my part as it didn’t give us a moment to remember other than to not need to buy it again. I truly enjoyed more than anything: my first experience indulging in the Lobster Escargot! Definitely get that if you like lobster. Probably the best was to enjoy. Cocktails were great. The bartender who may be a mixologist did an incredible job and was an experience to enjoy right there. If you go here, don’t set your hopes up to be impressed by the steaks. Enjoy the cocktails, lobster escargot, the fries, and maybe look into a seafood option for your main course.
Our dinner was fabulous! Matt was our waiter and he was perfectly attentive. We started with the beet salad, which we split and was just the right amount for each of us. The glasses of wine we had were delicious. I ordered mine on a recommendation from Matt and he was spot-on. We both ordered the filet mignon, mine medium rare and my friend’s medium plus. Both were prepared perfectly. The taste and texture were fabulous! The mashed potatoes and the asparagus were so tasty and the portions were generous. Everything was so good that I almost finished every bite. We each left 3 little pieces of steak because we were so stuffed. We did leave a little bit of room for dessert. We were celebrating a birthday, after all. A young man named Sam delivered the Devil’s Food cake and sang happy birthday to my friend. He said it was the first time anyone had asked him to do that and he was so cute about it! I will say I was very disappointed in the cake and I wished I had ordered the bread pudding instead. I’d had that on a prior visit and it was delicious! The cake cake compliments of the restaurant as a birthday treat, so we certainly weren’t going to complain!!! It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t u to the standard set by everything else we ate. I highly recommend Lincoln Steakhouse for a great steak dinner! Be sure to make a reservation as they’re always busy on the weekends, even in the summer.
Guest at this hotel property
We were seated 15 min later than our reservation time and it was a celebratory meal but nothing was acknowledged or done. The drinks were extremely overpriced but the food quality was worth the cost. The service was not up to par for a fine dining restaurant. Overall, I did not think the value was 5 star.
Great food. Great service
Absolutely outstanding dining experience! The food, presentation, atmosphere and level of service is exceptional. We will certainly be back during our next visit to beautiful AZ!
The staff was excellent. Exactly what you would want and anticipate at a premium statehouse. Our waiter Matt had been there for nearly 13 years and was awesome! Worth every penny!!!
Reasonably priced filet mignonette. Scallops were very good but a bit pricey. Drinks came out rather late.“WE WERE BACKED UP”.
