At Lincoln Ristorante, we offer our interpretation of modern Italian cuisine in New York at Lincoln Center. Our philosophy is simple: to source the best local ingredients and prepare them with authentic Italian methods and spirit. Our location beside Lincoln Center’s reflecting pool and the Henry Moore sculpture is exquisite, with panoramic views of the campus.

The cuisine at Lincoln Ristorante blends precise technique with the ingredients and comforting feel of an Italian kitchen. We rely on local farmers and purveyors along with weekly visits to our neighborhood Tucker Square Green Market, while importing the essential items (Parmigiano Reggiano, San Marzano tomatoes) from Italy that are irreplaceable.

We had an excellent dinner before going to the ballet. For starters two of us had the tuna and two had the scallops. For main courses we had two swordfish, one salmon, and one risotto. Everything was delicious.

Great food Took a little too long to place our order after we told them we had a show to go to and needed to be out at a specific time However once the order was placed the food came out quickly The Hostesses were not very friendly

Food was very salty. Attitude from the manager was obnoxious and unapologetic. Will never go back

Very expensive, but maybe worth it for a treat now and again. Service and food were both very good but not exceptional for NYC. Was FREEZING cold (A/C) when we were there in mid-May - so bring a wrap or jacket!

We dine here when we come to Lincoln Center for matinees, typically Saturday. What can I say, it’s perfect. The service is elegant and attentive. The food is outstanding, imaginative and flavorful. They feature Italian. This is a terrific choice in the Lincoln Center area.

Lincoln Ristorante is an oasis of good food and good service in an area of Manhattan in which those have historically been in short supply. The prix-fixe lunch (choice of appetizer and pasta) is wonderful, and my two friends from Paris who joined me for lunch enjoyed their meal very much. This is my second lunch at Lincoln this spring; and I'll come back again.

Amazing food, luxurious service, gentle & beautiful surroundings BUT bring LOTS of $$ -- it's pricey and one must order the prix fixe of 2 or 3 courses. But it's WORTH it for those splurge occasions. And the prosecco with peach essence and raspberries is a wonderful aperitif.

Service was outstanding. Not one or two but all of the staff members encountered were expert, professional, friendly. The establishment must pay close attention to this.

Staff was very friendly , kind of a slow start but once the food was ordered then everything started to flow. The wine specialist (sorry I know they have a special name) he was great, from Italy and picked an excellent wine. Food was fantastic and service was great, it was a great night out. This was our second visit first was years ago, our next visit won't take as long.
Great job to all, thanks!!

A well composed and balanced menu. I had an excellent asparagus appetizer and extremely good short ribs as my entrée. There is an extensive wine list. I consulted the sommelier but in each of the categories in which I had an interest, he recommended the most expensive wine. He also asked me, in ear shot of my guests, how much I was interested in spending. There were three of us and we ordered three desserts. Each was excellent. The service throughout was very attentive with our principal waiter being very helpful in assisting us in making choices.

Wonderful time at Lincoln Ristorante. Food, wine and service were all terrific as was the ambiance. It was our wedding anniversary and they brought out a lovely desert without me having to remind them. We went pre-theater at Lincoln Center and will do so again - highly recommend!

Excellent spot for pre- Lincoln center event dining. Can be difficult to snag a table overlooking the Milstein Pool and service can be either too solicitous at times or distracted. Food is generally very good.

We have always loved pre- opera dinners at Lincoln and it has been our go- to for special occasions. Our last trip there was disappointing not because the food was bad— quite the opposite— but because it was so rich no one could get through their meals. There didn’t seem to be any simpler preparations to choose from. This was a problem for some of our diners.

Also, the service was trying to emulate a very formal presentation where the plates are placed on the table simultaneously, etc. It was endearing because it was so awkwardly done, but really unnecessary.

As always, the wait staff and host were extremely thoughtful and courteous.

We left thinking we may have to find a new Lincoln Center restaurant home that does not leave us feeling leaden. That made us sad. I would still recommend it for those seeking a heavy, cream- infused meal.

I cannot even rate this restaurant on the 1-5 scale (although I did). It is a 10 for service and for food... and for ambiance! It was like being taken care of by people who love you. We were starving. We were presented with wonderful goodies even before ordering. They made a special drink for my friend, who is a singer and has some restrictions on what she imbibes. They are both creative and caring in both the front and in the kitchen. I cannot say enough about this restaurant. It is the best I've experienced in NYC... and that's saying a lot.

Often eat in the Lincoln Center area, but first time eating here. Understaffed when we were there. Food was adequate - on the pretentious side without the satisfactory results to back it up - especially considering the pricing. Had indicated it was for an anniversary when I reserved: no acknowledgement or special moment ensued. Pity.

We arrived at 1:15 before a Lincoln Center event at 3:00 and alerted the Host to that. We were seated at 1:30 and also alerted our waiter. The restaurant was overbooked and the kitchen was completely overwhelmed, with no ability to manage the scheduling of diners. Our waiter tried his best, but the kitchen completely failed the demands of the day. We were served our main course with seven minutes to eat before having to leave for the concert. No apologies from the manager. We will never return.

No one even apologized

Prepared to be wowed! I was so impressed with Lincoln. It exceeded all my expectations in every way. I enjoy going out with my husband every weekend, and I have gotten so used to mediocre service that it has become part of the routine. Here's how the Lincoln stood out, they were gracious when calling to confirm my reservation. Day of my reservation, the host greeted us with a smile and was polite. The second hostess was smiling, polite and was super knowledgable of the menu. She was so knowledgable that we decided to let her pick our drinks which, set the tone to the evening. We also decided to let the Chef pick our food and wow...were we in great hands! The food was so delicious and so beautiful! Vegetables, fruits and fish were in harmony and nothing was over-seasoned. We really lived in the moment. What a wonderful evening filled with great tasting food, a comforting, and friendly staff in beautiful setting- pure perfection! Raise the bar, Lincoln!
