About Lincoln Ristorante
At Lincoln Ristorante, we offer our interpretation of modern Italian cuisine in New York at Lincoln Center. Our philosophy is simple: to source the best local ingredients and prepare them with authentic Italian methods and spirit. While our location beside Lincoln Center’s reflecting pool and the Henry Moore sculpture is exquisite, the panoramic views and grass lawn roof are sure to impress.
The cuisine at Lincoln Ristorante blends precise technique with the ingredients and comforting feel of an Italian kitchen. We rely on local farmers and purveyors along with weekly visits to our neighborhood Tucker Square Green Market, while importing the essential items (Parmigiano Reggiano, San Marzano tomatoes) from Italy that are irreplaceable.

Lincoln Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
Enjoyed our dinner. since it is at Lincoln Center getting to a performance is easy and distance outside in weather very limited. Food was very good but short of outstanding. However, service and staff were truly outstanding. Would go again if attending Lincoln Center.
Well. I read a recent and not so hot review, and was tempted to bail and find another restaurant. So glad I did not! I came to NYC to spend time with my daughter. We were opera-bound, and this dinner was sublime. Ravioli Bigusto was the best ravioli bite I've ever had, and so beautifully presented. The Giannone Chicken was wonderful—I would say, believe it or not, I thought the portion was perhaps too large; made it hard for me to eat much of the dessert. I had the Pumpkin-polenta cake. Wow. My daughter had beet salad, shrimp risotto, and chocolate cake. Olivier was thoroughly attentive and suggested perfect wine pairings. My daughter and I are already looking forward to my next visit and a return to this wonderful restaurant.
Starting with the clever breadstick on 'sculpture' rack and the fresh soft rosemary bread and cheese I was in heaven. The room was serene with oversized pretty banquettes. Had the prix-fixe brunch. Prosciutto with grilled figs was lovely. Pumpkin mascarpone raviolis were memorable. Loved it
I go to Lincoln every time I go to A concert at Lincoln Center because the location is unbeatable, the ambiance is lovely and the food usually excellent. However, the last time I went the papardelle left something to be desired. Undercooked and the sauce was too salty and not tast. I appreciate that I wasn’t charged, and I am hoping that on my next visit the pasta will be better!
We really love this place and dine here whenever we attend events at the Metropolitan Opera.
It's very pleasant and relaxing to have a fine, leisurely dinner without having to worry about getting to your show on time.
But, the convenience is only part of it.
More importantly, the food is always excellent and the service is the best you'll ever receive at a restaurant anywhere.
I know this sounds a little over the top but you have to experience it to understand what I'm talking about.
What a delightful place to celebrate a quiet adult birthday! Food and service are outstanding. They have lovely views of Lincoln center, round tables for 6, comfortable chairs for a dinner that is a full evening dining experience. Terrific prefix or a la carte. Everything was made to perfection from the Fluke crudo to the fois gras pate to veal tenderloin and the short ribs. Our vegetarian had delicious choices, too. Expensive but well worth it. Go after the pretheatre crowd has left
Our friends from Jersey City and West 86th joined us for lunch on a beautiful day. We had a lovely window table, a most delicious lunch and a very relaxed couple of hours. We live in Philadelphia, but it will be worth the drive when we return, hopefully for dinner before a performance.
excellent food and service. Our principal server was outstanding. Two glitches: the young woman who was the food runner was definitely having an off day She spilled coffee twice when she poured it, and didn't notice. (We had to call another to fix it.) She also mixed up the orders she brought. Not a big deal, but shouldn't happen in a restaurant this good there was also loud shouting coming from the dish washing area; so loud it drowned out the music
Lincoln Ristorante is a delightful restaurant. Great ambiance, wonderful food, terrific service, great wine selection. Yes, it's wonderfully convenient to have this great restaurant on hand when you're planning to attend a concert, the opera, the ballet, or theater performance at Lincoln Center.
But Lincoln Ristorante is much more than "convenience dining" on hand at Lincoln Center.
It is destination dining that delivers, whether for that special dinner with someone you cherish or a notable evening with friends or when cultivating that important business contact.
I highly recommend Lincoln Ristorante where dining is elevated to a high art.
This time we came for dinner after 7:30 PM, when the a la carte menu was available, and so our dinner was reasonable and good. But we usually go to this restaurant pre-theater, and the menu available from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM is very limited, without about half the choices available on the a la carte menu. I understand that there are challenges in getting pre-theater guests out in time, but there is no need to force us into just two prixe fixe choices (two courses or three) at prices higher, in some cases, than the courses would be separately. Nor do I see how not allowing a patron to choose one course rather than two or three gets that person out more quickly. Because of the menu change, we will regretfully be having our pre-theater dinners elsewhere.
Nestled in Lincoln Center, this elegant restaurant is perfect for pre theatre dining. The waitstaff and highly professional, friendly, efficient and make your time there a pleasure. The food is generally very good and the three course pre fixe is reasonably priced for the quality. On this occasion, the salad portion of the beet salad had too much grit because it had not been adequately washed. An unusual problem in an otherwise flawless evening.
