At Lincoln Ristorante, we offer our interpretation of modern Italian cuisine in New York at Lincoln Center. Our philosophy is simple: to source the best local ingredients and prepare them with authentic Italian methods and spirit. Our location beside Lincoln Center’s reflecting pool and the Henry Moore sculpture is exquisite, with panoramic views of the campus.

The cuisine at Lincoln Ristorante blends precise technique with the ingredients and comforting feel of an Italian kitchen. We rely on local farmers and purveyors along with weekly visits to our neighborhood Tucker Square Green Market, while importing the essential items (Parmigiano Reggiano, San Marzano tomatoes) from Italy that are irreplaceable.

Both food and service were great. This was a pre-opera brunch and the staff even watched the timing of the meal to assure that we had time to walk the 50 steps to the Metropoitan Opera. Great Italian choices for the brunch--pre-fixe was worth it!

Always outstanding and now have hit their stride and really figured out how to get you in and out before any performance without rushing you. The food is exceptional and the cocktail and wine offerings are excellent. Service is very professional and warm. All in all a delightful evening and looking forward to coming sometime when we are not heading off to the theater or the Philharmonic.

Although perfectly located for dinner before a show at Lincoln Center, this restaurant is disappointing. The options for the required pre-theater prix fixe are generally heavy and uninspired. And the price is high for what you are getting. The service is attentive but pretentious. The wine pairing is a total rip-off - I was served the same wines that could be ordered by the glass but given only two 3-ounce portions, as if it were a tasting. For the price of the pairing, I could have enjoyed two full glasses of the same selections. Other options for dining near Lincoln Center exist and are preferable.

This place has a great vibe for pre or post theatre. It is right in the middle of Lincoln Square and has a very high end vibe. The food is very good but not amazing. It is a little pricey. The service is the best part of the meal.

The service was surprisingly slow. It took unreasonably long to get our ordered dishes to the table. When it finally did arrive, it was very tasty.

Would have preferred less attentive staff-but that’s just us! They really tried their best!

The food ingredients and how they were presented on the plate were excellent. One exception, the venison medallion disguised the end cut with cotton string left on my portion. The manager comped the desserts, but the total difference in the bill was less than $6. Staff is inexperienced and not well coordinated. The place has a good start in the kitchen but at the prices they request they need a lot more practice and polish.

While a lovely restaurant with top notch service, the food was truly not worth the price.
The food was good but it's overpriced.

Service and food first rate. Running the gauntlet to pass muster with the maitre d' staff not so much. Very irritating to have to argue for a better table when the entire restaurant is empty. We're not random tourists in baseball caps and sneakers....

Just perfect . Oliver is so helpful and seductive . The food is over the top delicious . It is a fair pre fixe that allows you to have a taste adventure . The ambience is gem like with the added treat of looking out onto a Henry Moore sculpture . Perfect for pre Lincoln Center Event But also for a special occasion .

Disappointing service. Never knew who our waiter was and very slow in taking our order. Food is good though. Felt like we were eating in a bar area not a dining room.

Right in Lincoln Center, they spent a lot of money on the decor but make it up on the price of the food. $78 three course, $94 four course pre-fixe plus expensive a la carte options. However the quality is commensurate with the prices, and lots of nice little extras. Great spot for before or after theater

We had a lovely dinner but were seated directly in front of the place where the staff stand waiting to see where they are needed. So we were quite uncomfortable as they could hear our conversation and we theirs (and they talked quite a bit). There were many empty tables! Perhaps our table should only be given as a last resort? Staff was very good and not their fault they were supposed to stand there when not in action .

A lovely venue post or pre theater. It happened to be snowing and looking out onto the fountain was so beautiful. We were having a reunion with dear friends after the opera. The whole experience was perfect and we shall return as soon as possible.

Attentive service.Drinks pricey and wine list at prix fix limited.Negroni bar was unique, but special cocktails too complex and mixes were strange to our taste buds.Pastas were exceptional, mains were standard, desserts were disappointing(too many strange components like truffle gelato on an overly sweet apple torta-weird flavor).I believe Chef was trying too hard and should stick to more conventional Italian. My thoughts.
