The cuisine at Lincoln Ristorante blends precise technique with the ingredients and comforting feel of an Italian kitchen. We rely on local farmers and purveyors along with weekly visits to our neighborhood Tucker Square Green Market, while importing the essential items (Parmigiano Reggiano, San Marzano tomatoes) from Italy that are irreplaceable.

Incredibly well run restaurant with an excellent team of servers. Elegant setting but not pretentious. Food creative and delicious.
it was a pleasure to have a fine-dining meal prior to the Wednesday matinee. The location at Lincoln Center is perfect. The beginning was fine, with food that's fresh and has taste and a staff that was attentive. However, the 45-minute wait for the entree, and its not having distinctive tastes detracted. I thank the staff for noticing.
near our hotel and children and a delicious meal in lovely setting
Ate out on the patio on a warm summer night. This was the best and most creative meal I’ve eaten in NYC
The food at this place is inconsistent, while some dishes are great, others are barely average. The service used to be excellent, bit it is not anymore. Again there is too much inconsistency.
Hi Swede, We apologize that you did not have a positive experience while dining with us. We strive to deliver consistently high quality service and cuisine and would like to speak with you further about your meal to learn more and, hopefully, remedy this situation for you. We will message you privately with contact information, should you be interested in speaking with us. Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
There are some superb dishes at this restaurant--antipasti and pastas that are imaginative and flavorful. But it is also VERY expensive, and a number of things don't quite add up to the bill that one receives. On this occasion--not my first--I had a main course of chicken that was absolutely steam-table quality. And on all occasions the space itself is uninviting--too large, too empty, too amorphously shaped. None of this would be a problem, frankly, if the cost was about 25% less than it is. Sidenote: a brilliant sommelière with fabulous wine suggestions; and the prices on the wine list, considering the budget-busting quality of the place in general, were not unreasonable.
Hi Ghiottone, Thank you for dining with us and taking the time to leave your feedback. We apologize that you did not feel the value of your meal was consistent; we would like to hear more about your experience in the hopes of rectifying this for you. We will reach out directly with contact information in case you are interested in speaking with us directly. Thank you, again.
Wonderful birthday dinner.
We ate outside on a beautiful night with a view of a pool with a lovely sculpture. The food was excellent. We had tuna tartar, cavatelli with duck, scallops, and sea bream.
a bit expensive, but worth.
Did not show the al carte menu!
Be aware when ordering on the prix fixe that there will be an amuse bouche for every course including dessert.
Very lovely place. Nice to sit outdoors and listen to the outdoor opera. A bit pricey for an everyday place for locals.
Overall experience so so
Food not great pasta store brought quality
It was much more impressive in the past. Although service was great, the food was not nearly as good as it had been in the past.
There is no lunch prefixes now and and I’m not sure I would go back.
Lincoln is a consistent hit. The food is delicious and the service is always top notch. For a city restaurant, it is quiet and spacious. We love having space to enjoy our meal. The open kitchen is wonderful to see also. We will continue to return.
We always love our experiences at the Lincoln. The food is fresh and delicious, market driven, the menu is focused and well executed, appealingly plated, and the service is always wonderful. If we didn’t live on the upper east side we would almost certainly dine here more often, because we really love it. When you couple the excellent food, wine and service with the beautiful view, you really can’t beat it. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in the city.
The sommelier was particularly known and helpful. The wait staff was very professional and accommodating.
I was not as pleased this time when I dined at Lincoln Ristorante as I was last time. The servers were very attentive but the waiter who took our order might have been a bit more accommodating. The food was good but not great.
The location, with a view of the Lincoln Center campus, is very nice and it is convenient if you have tickets for a performance in the area.
Hi Sarabee, thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. We apologize that you feel the value of the meal did not match the price. We'd like to hear more about your dining experience and will reach out directly with our contact information. Thank you again, we hope to speak with you soon.
Great ambiance. Mediocre pasta. Spotty service. High prices.
We sat outdoors opposite the Henry Moire sculpture in a rare peaceful setting for NYC. The food was delicious, the service impeccable. It was an extraordinarily special night
Really enjoyed my Lincoln dining experience. The food was very good. There was a nice selection for restaurant week. I had a delicious salad and a very good salmon entree. Everything was cooked to perfection. The dessert was terrific. The maitre de was charming and made sure we were well taken care of. He was attentive but not over bearing. I would come back to Lincoln again. I really enjoyed the lunch!
Five stars for ambiance and quietude. Tables are far apart and one can converse. Attentive service. My main gripe is portion size: my salmon was minuscule. Did they downsize for RW? Doubtful as my companions’ main courses were normal size. Food was fine but not outstanding.
Food was fantastic, service was over the top, best food experience...
First time visiting here, but everything was better than my expectation. I would definitely revisit in the future.
They were very efficient in getting out dinner to us and out in time for a performance. We only had 1 1/2 hours, still got a sweet treat at the end.
This was our second visit to Lincoln and we brought friends! Dinner was delicious and we went with Oliver's recommendations of the lobster salad, baked chicken, scallops, and sirloin of beef. Outstanding. But unfortunately we couldn't linger as we had performance tickets at Koch Hall. However know that the experience left all of us with the "taste to visit again". Because of Lincoln and my experiences with The Grand Tier, I have a certain expectation of quality of cuisine and service by The Patina Group, that is unsurpassed by any other restaurant in NYC. Special thanks to our wait staff: Oliver, William, Kayla and hostess Hailey who greeted me by name when I arrived. I appreciate their occupational expertise; moreso the genuine personal attention and care that we received. Thank you so much.
Excellent restaurant week lunch. Good choices, well thought out wine pairing, fine service. A winner?
Restaurant Week menu was a nice option. Service is impeccable.
Pasta slightly overcooked and oversalted, but a lovely place with very good food and attentive service
I had NYC restaurant week lunch. The food was great as always. They had this wine pairing for the lunch: one 4 oz glass of white and one 4 oz of red. I liked the both. It was a beautiful sunny day. I enjoyed the lunch there in a sunny spacious room.
The staff was amazing - we only had about an hour for dinner before our ballet performance. The staff made sure we got everything for plenty of time to enjoy and were very courteous. The food was amazing. Thank you!
Delightful, modern, bright and cheerful. Wonderful dining, lovely surroundings, attentive and friendly staff.
Restaurant Week Lunch was fair and used to be excellent. Tiny tomato salad. No gift from the chef before or at the end of the meal, as in the past. Delicious chicken, salmon, focaccia, and cappuccino. Gracious service. Two courses, $26 this year is not the value it used to be. This is true generally in all participating restaurants this year, and is not so special.
My friend and I were delighted with your restaurant. The food, service and friendliness of staff made for a perfect lunch experience. Thank you very much.
Pricey, but excellent.
Lovely lunch with a friend during RW. Christopher, our sommelier was incredible. Wish I would have had the caprese salad but the chicken was yummy.
We were there before a concert. Great meal, but pricy
Really taste good and service over my expection
Always enjoy going to the Lincoln Ristorante and this time did not disappoint.
Great place to enjoy food. The service is flawless.
Delicious Food, excellent service beautiful ambiance
