We had the best time. Perfect, comfortable, spacious setting. We loved the staff, and were grateful for the masterful service--friendly, attentive, and caring, including the greeters at the entrance. The food and drink were delicious. Will save up our dollars to go back asap.
Great for before a Lincoln Center event. They kept our dinner on time for the curtain.
This is the second time that we have eaten at this beautiful elegant restaurant. We ate there after I met opera matinee it was welcoming very elegant in a modern setting staff pleasant amicable very professional. The fact that their daily specials are truly daily specials and change from one visit to the next was wonderful the staff was helpful pleasant and very professional. The food in its presentation and taste what’s the best I’ve had a new restaurant in a long time will definitely be there for third and fourth visit
Place is lovely. My wife and I had a great time. Food is dope.
Patrick is a great server!
Outstanding restaurant! I only had 35 minutes to eat due to fact that I was going to the circus right next door. The waiter knew exactly what to give me in order for me to have enough time to eat. Very classy place! I love the ambiance and the service is great from the coat check to the waiters. Will come again and try more meals for sure in the next week or 2
Great hospitality from front door greeting to exiting everyone we encountered. Food was excellent side dish of eggplant parmigiana is a must. Service was on point and attention to detail by all.
Certainly not in the under $30 price category- needs more things on the menu- only 4 main courses and a few pasta
Excellent food and service. My wife told the staff that it was my birthday (which it was) and dessert arrived with a candle in it (along with an extra free dessert). We were very pleased.
Loved the veal meatballs, saltimbocca, burratta... Phenomenal meal.
Normally, I give this restaurant five stars -- outstanding. I think due to COVID, it's slipping down to very good, perhaps shading towards good. Understandably, the menu is quite restricted -- just a few options in each category, with no changes in the menu in at least the last month. The quality, too, is not what it was, which is still very good. But my wife's fish was overdone at the top, and one side had a lot of pepper while the other had very little. And the only two desserts (other than gelato or sorbet) were not up to the die-for level of the past, with the chocolate shell of one gelatinous and the heart of the other rather bland. The service is good -- friendly and attentive -- but, again, without the finesse of the past. Waiters lean across diners to serve them rather than going to the other side of the table, and so on. Nothing that would make us not enjoy our meals there, but signs of general slippage. We hope that with the end of COVID, things will go back to the high standard we had enjoyed.
The food was fantastic but the servings very small. The waiter rushed us a bit too much through the experience which made me fern uncomfortable towards the end.
Excellent and convenient dining pre or post MET Opera performance.
Great food, excellent service and very quiet. A tad expensive though.
Absolutely delicious food and the service was outstanding. Would recommend this restaurant if you have tickets for any event at Lincoln Center or are just looking for delicious food and a wonderful dining experience.

The location and ambiance are fantastic- beautiful interior design and the menu is innovative and carefully thought out. Wines are commensurate with seasonal menu. Highly recommended.
This was our first time here and it was a very pleasant experience. The hostess took great care in seeing that we had a table location that we liked and the waitstaff and other personnel were very attentive throughout the meal and very professional. The courses that we tried were delicious and we found that sharing plates was the way to go especially since we were going on to the theatre afterwards. We would certainly return when appropriate. Just wish that the lighting was better; we found it to be much too dark. Certainly something could be done about this even if only putting table lamps on the tables to offer more light.
Glad the place is reopened . The food and service were excellent . The atmosphere was the same as pre-Covid . Their booth setting is perfect for social distancing . The location and view are perfect .
good food and wait staff is wonderful! It's my go-to restaurant at Lincoln Center.
A splendid way to spend New Year's Eve. A fixed menu with plenty of variety. Excellent service as always.
Lovely New Years dinner. Fantastic food, pleasant service, beautiful ambiance. I love the Lincoln and even in the middle of omicron, it did not disappoint.
It was a wonderful dinner with a beautiful view of Lincoln center. Everything (food, service, hostesses) was amazing and the music in the background was the perfect level.
Lincoln Restaurant has been a valuable addition to the great Lincoln Center .
Smart architecture, magical view of the plaza, with Henry More master piece and Metropolitan Grand Tier.
Friendly and welcoming reception, open immaculate kitchen, exotic cousin, a feast for all senses.
Very satisfied with pre-theater dinner. Our wait staff was attentive and nice, took care of the time so we didn't miss the opera, my kids shared one pasta which they thoughtfully served on two separate plates, restroom was clean and spacious (6 separate rooms with toilet and wash basin each). I cannot complain of anything. Although, a wider variety of menu would be welcome and the chicken milanese was a little blend for me. The salad with truffle, branzino and caccio e pepe were good.
All time favorite restaurant of ours. Been going since the restaurant first opened. And tonight was the first time back since the pandemic began.
The food was amazing! I got late and they kindly wait me!
The best service and also the best dessert.
Food is delicious, decor kinda cold commercial feel.
Great ambience. Service needs to improve.
Overall great experience
I loved the food. I had the veal meatballs which was excellent. My mom had the octopus that was also delicious. Worth the price. Not as much food like Carmines but that’s expected in a place such as this.
The food is amazing. We were supposed to see the Nutcracker, but it became a Covid casualty. The good part of that was that we didn't have to rush through dinner, and were able to partake in the special holiday menu item, the Seven Fishes. It as magnificent! As good a meal as I've had in years!
And David our server was all you could ask for, giving amazing descriptions of the food and explaining all types of things to us.
This is not an inexpensive place to eat, but following the adage "You get what you pay for" you'll walk out completely satisfied that the meal was worth the price!
We always like the view and the atmosphere at Lincoln. However, on this visit the food wasn’t spectacular, but rather ordinary! Choices were very limited, especially entrees and pastas. Bread was so-so, and complimentary appetizers were missing. We missed the cocktails with the fresh fruit purée. I ordered the chicken cutlet and my husband ordered the branzino. Very overpriced and nothing out of the ordinary. Hope things will improve on our next visit.
Superb as always - attentive service and great food
Perfect place to dine and celebrate events
A bit pricy
We cannot wait to our next visit
It used to be better.
Lovely but the menu MUST expand- too limited
Food was good — service was great— but we got very annoyed that an $18 glass of wine was virtually empty. It was a Pinot Grigio — which you can buy a bottle of for $18. Pretty insulting. The waiter suggested we have a cocktail next which we did and it was tasty. Not at all sure what happened on the pour for the white wine — really ridiculous.
Outstanding experience at Lincoln. The ambiance was quiet and peaceful, the food was excellent. My guest had never experienced Lincoln and was very impressed. The server was not as experienced as we would have liked & perhaps could have listened better (he kind of talked over us at one point), but overall very polite, patient & considerate and he did get us out in time to see our show, which was much appreciated. A great time and one of the UWS' best-kept secrets! Thank you for a memorable evening.
My favorite spot to take people to!
