The cuisine at Lincoln Ristorante blends precise technique with the ingredients and comforting feel of an Italian kitchen. We rely on local farmers and purveyors along with weekly visits to our neighborhood Tucker Square Green Market, while importing the essential items (Parmigiano Reggiano, San Marzano tomatoes) from Italy that are irreplaceable.

Doesn’t need a review - just walk in. Great place!
The food is good and the service is wonderful. This time we had a selection of their ice cream and sorbets for dessert since it was my birthday. The flavors were to die for. Fantastic.
Probably the best restaurant on the UWS, and without question the best near Lincoln Center. Treat yourself!
The staff at Lincoln is superb. They are so organized accommodating and they remember you from visit to visit. Which table you like and even certain dietary restrictions pertaining to your needs. I highly recommend this restaurant for an evening where you are able to really relax and allow others to take care of you.
Lincoln Ristorante offers poorly prepared, unimaginative food at outrageous prices. Pretentious and obsequious best describe the setting and the service. The place is a tourist trap ripoff.
Attentive and helpful service. Delicious menu . A perfect pre-opera venue.
70th birthday dinner. We had the lobster salad, tagliatini, and veal tenderloin. Excellent attentive service. Great recommendation from sommelier.
Great place for after or before Opera, Concert etc.
I am on crutches and arrived 15 seconds after the wait time expired because the ballet was later than expected. He told me he had given away our table and I should have called. Perhaps, but I’m juggling my handbag, a boot for my fractured foot and crutches. I asked him what time it was when we were speaking and it was 5:46.
I would never go back to the restaurant but in spite of him a very expensive meal was well served and fairly good.
Hi Kathy, I apologize for the experience that you had when you arrived. I will message you privately with our contact information, should you be interested in speaking with us. Thank you again for your time.
A beautiful restaurant in an unique location, the architectural design is strking and the large windows look out on to Lincoln Center. The restaurant is large, spacious, with a glass enclosed kitchen, and quiet enough to have a conversation with your guests. The food is excellent as is the wine list. My only complaint was that only a prix fixe menu was available, which was not clear at the time I made the reservation. According to our waiter, only prix fixe meals are served before and after theater hours. I noticed a number of other patrons seemed surprised by this as well. It is a lovely restaurant; one should just come prepared to spend a considerable amount for the prix fixe and wine/drinks. I would go again.
We have had lunch at Lincoln before the Opera many times. Unfortunately, our experience this weekend was not up to the usual high standards of the restaurant. Our server was somewhat indifferent and inattentive, which has never been our experience before. Although other dishes were fine, the crema di mozzarella (bufalina) was, in fact, not crema at all, but something with a texture more like the white of a hard-boiled egg. We hope that this was just an off day for a generally fine restaurant.
Service is exceptionally slow but thankfully decent food
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. if you’re looking to have an amazing dinner before attending a performance at the MET Opera, this is your place as if is conveniently located next door. Everything about this experience was 5 star: the service, the space and especially the food. We had the pre fixe 3-course dinner. I’m vegan, and they willingly provided delicious substitutions. I was particularly fond of the wild fall mushroom dish!
Wonderful service and ambiance- food was very good, though my husband was disappointed in the steak and said he would not order it again. That said, we will definitely be back in the future as the overall experience of dining at Lincoln is outstanding every time.
We tried to dine before the metropolitan opera performance. Waiting 40 minutes for our first course we took our main course in a to go box. Restaurant does not have the staff or organization for pre theater dining. Only dine at The Lincoln after a performance
This was our first time at this restaurant. Our server was very attentive. The food was excellent and they served in a timely manner so that we would be on time for the show that we had tickets to see. Our only complaint was that they forgot to bring our side order. They were very apologetic and offered us a dessert on the house.
As always, the food was excellent (and the servings ample) and the service outstanding.
Wonderful food and service, as ever.
The saffron pasta was made without saffron. Do I need to say more?
Hello, thank you for taking the time to tell us about your concerns in regards to the Saffron Pasta. We apologize that the meal did not meet your expectations and would like the opportunity to speak with you directly. We will message you privately with our contact information should you choose to reach out. Thank you, again, for your time.
Very overpriced for excellent but overly fussy food that is not at all extraordinary. However, it's convenient for attending shows at Lincoln Center, utterly pleasant, and in the end not really a rip-off.
Really excellent. Food was excellent and service was extremely present. Worth the price
Great restaurant great ambiance we would gladly return to dine here
Great service, all people so kind and supporting. Food was delicious and good sized. Just a little detail, my daughters meat was a little flavorless. Besides that, it is a must go restaurant in NYC for special ocasionss. Thanks
My wife and I have had lunch at Lincoln Ristorante on many occasions. As usual, the decor, atmosphere and service were outstanding. We appreciated the extra care and service for our guest who was a vegan. However, the loss of the prixe fixe lunch was disappointing. The flounder entree was disappointing to all of us. It was a tiny piece of a relatively inexpensive fish and with little on the plate beyond this. However, the wine service was excellent, as well as the beautiful presentation of the triple scoop gelato desert. Frankly, the lunch has become overpriced for what we got.
Hi Jerry, Thank you for dining with us and taking the time to give us your feedback. We completely understand the disappointment in the removal of the prix fixe lunch menu. We are continually optimizing our menus to keep them seasonal and offer value to our guests, so we will certainly take your feedback into account. Thank you, again, and please let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.
Always terrific service.
Food was good but service was amongst the worst I have ever received. For a fine dining establishment and for the cost, I would expect above average service but they didn’t even get the basics right. Drink orders were not taken until AFTER the main courses were ordered. Waited at least 30 min before they took the order. The menu was never explained. Dishes were all delivered to the wrong people (both courses) and the staff never checked back to see about how everything was until they cleared the plates and brought the check. Any Applebee’s gets that right. In any event, the food was delicious. Wouldn’t come back though.

Dinner before a show. Menu not what we expected. Kids at next table were allowed to run around too much noise. Overall experience was less than expected.

Impressive attention to detail and service. This beautiful (modern) venue is a blend of good food, very good service, and a fantastic location within Lincoln Center. The staff is friendly and genuine.
Good food. Lovely views across the plaza. xxxxxxxxxxx
The service was very attentive from the hostess to the busser I met on my way to the ladies room.
I had the pre theater menu, nothing to write home about, and at the end of the day turned out to be pricey.
My party and I we liked the concept of open kitchen, and the room set up..
I definitely will patronize the Lincoln restaurant again.
Great food, ambiance and service. Excellent wine list. Totally recomended.
Lovely restaurant and lovely location. Menu is limited, food is okay at best, and overpriced for sure.
It was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.
Service was bad
Had to ask for a napkin 5 times
Crucial wss served with thawed tasteless fish. Inedible
Greatly overpriced but

We had a wonderful experience at the Lincoln - food, ambiance, and service - all fabulous!!
Lunch menu is limited but food was delicious. Best tomato soup I have ever had.
What can I say, but that the food is terrific and the location is great.
Great venue for any affair at Lincoln Center. Service and attention to detail was perfect. Food was creative and gourmet level. Menu and wine list was great.
