The cuisine at Lincoln Ristorante blends precise technique with the ingredients and comforting feel of an Italian kitchen. We rely on local farmers and purveyors along with weekly visits to our neighborhood Tucker Square Green Market, while importing the essential items (Parmigiano Reggiano, San Marzano tomatoes) from Italy that are irreplaceable.

Wonderful dinner. Prix fixe a bargain. Would go again.
Lovely venue with great ambience and especially pleasant sound level conducive to conversation. Food was delicious including complimentary small bites and service attentive, but not intrusive.
Great service. Nice place to eat before a performance.
had the prix fix sunday 9/23. service was attentive and organized. both first dishes were well prepared professional and enjoyed. Entre of duck ragu over parpadelle was so salty to be uneatable. i mentioned to one of the wait staff who suggested he would let his manager know. i said it was not necessary. left the dish mostly untouched. unfortunate experience.
The food, service and atmosphere was simply unbelievably awesome. Which is why we keep returning to this restaurant
The food was amazing! The service was also friendly and professional.
The only thing was there was not even low music playing and it just seemed strange.
Just clanging of dishes like in a cafeteria. A little low music would be pleasant. But the food was excellent.
The tuna tartar was nothing to write home about...but the lamb was cooked to perfection as was the bass.
Excellent cocktails also.
The food is ALWAYS delicious, the service is ALWAYS excellent, and the place itself is lovely.
I had a salmon dish with the most amazing warm tomato salad. I never tasted more delicious tomatoes.
I eat frequently at the Lincoln. In general the food is OK but this time was pretty bad. Two of the guests had prosciutto. No taste. One of the guests had chicken milanese. No taste. A huge piece of something. I had eggplant parmigiana as appetizer. It was difficult to find the eggplant, was mostly cheese--a lot of cheese. The salmon was OK, nothing special. This is unfortunate because the place is great particularly for business events, given its good service and quiet ambiance.
We had a great meal and excellent service even though we were the last reservation for the evening!
Amazing as always. Great service and very helpful staff. Had a shoe malfunction and they went so far as to find adhesive to help me fix my shoe. Food is outstanding and the cocktails / wine menu are top notch.
I've been going to Lincoln for years and it never disappoints. The service and food are spectacular. Even just having a drink at the bar is an incredible experience. It's one of my favorites in NYC.
Never disappoints. Always on our mind for a special evening. Trying to come up with as many occasions as possible to return very soon. Got one.
We had been there once before and went back because we loved it so much the first time. It it outstanding in every way and we definitely will go back. Our guests from Germany absolutely loved it.
Excellent food and service as usual
Excellent food choices and presentation. Dinner was delicious. Waitstaff was extremely attentive without being overbearing. Great place.
We had the Prix Fixe lunch which is outstanding value for the quality, factoring in various additions like break sticks, bread and petit four after the meal. It was quiet on the weekday we went. Service was understated and courteous.
It was a beautiful pre show evening at Lincoln . The ambiance is clean contemporary with private booths and stained wood ceiling giving it a warm feel. From the hand made bread sticks and fresh black grape focaccia , to the superb entrees, to the fabulous dessert, the whole experience was much more than I expected. I would highly recommend this restaurant and to top it off the show was fantastic !!
Outstanding! Every course was outstanding! The pastas are creative, and so are the desserts. Ambiance is wonderful too--particularly for quiet conversation and if you're celebrating a special event. Lincoln Ristorante is one of my favorite spots in the city for consistently creative and well-executed cuisine! I highly recommend the dessert with macerated strawberries--phenomenal!
Excellent beginning to end. Thank you for a beautiful post-matinee dinner! My mom's 60th birthday was perfect.
Staff was sort of cold and not engaging.
Always a beautiful experience . Spectacular design and impeccable service.
I have been to Lincoln several times and have always thought it was wonderful- but the last two times I have been disappointed. the menu is very esoteric and hard to understand. the prices are high. I had a pasta dish that was dry - not enough sauce. Not up to their usual high standards.
This was a great experience . The food and entire dining experience as set forth above fabulous.
We had tickets to a matinee at Lincoln center and planned on a lunch before. This was a perfect location right in the plaza. We sat outside and could see the door and knew when we had to leave. Food was great I had the salmon with warm tomato salad. It was perfectly cooked and the salad was a nice touch. Portions were fine for me. My husband might have need more. I just had an entree however my cousin did the brunch menu and she got an appetizer and a meal her salad was quite large so was her pasta dish.
Best homemade pasta we have had in NYC. Seriously talented chefs in kitchen.
a group of 4-went to lunch before a show. We had mentioned we had a time issue. The waitress was more than accommodating. We had delicious rose champagne. The restaurant gave little nibbles to try. How nice AND delicious. All of our lunches were great! Coffee was great too! Wish we had time for dessert. Will definitely come back here. Definitely worth the cost. (which was a little pricey for lunch)
I walked out before eating as they were so inflexible about letting me order what I wanted to order. This place has slid in quality and service since they changed chefs an I will never return. I used to eat here at least 4 times per year due to its proximity to Lincoln center
The service was superb and the pre theater pre fix is an excellent value!
I had lunch with a friend before a performance. Service was impeccable. The menu had a nice selection and pricing was moderate to high. The quality of the ingredients was excellent. Overall it was a great dining experience.
I don't have time to go through all your selections. Suffice it to say it was a wonderful experience!!!!
We enjoyed our pleasant and informative servers. The food was different and amazing in presentation and taste. The cocktails were perfect for our afternoon. Thanks.
The meal was delicious from start to finish. From the little extras that delight, to the succulent taste of the food, I was in restaurant heaven . service was efficient and gracious. Every detail of my food was thoughtful. From the exquisite garnished In my soup, to the sauces for my salmon. And the salmon was as fresh as any salmon I ever tasted. What a treat.
We live in SF BAY area so our standards are high. We have enjoyed several OK meals on this trip but nothing as good as Lincoln. Since our daughter lives two blocks from Lincoln, we will definitely eat there again.
The pre-theater menu had something interesting and delicious for everyone. The amuse bouche of fried mozzarella was wonderful. The foccaccia with honey ricotta was divine and then the two course meal was amazing. Service was perfect and the space is gorgeous. If it wasn't 101 degrees out we would have enjoyed eating outside.
The food was amazing as always. However, our red wine was served extremely chilled. We mentioned this to the sommelier who basically dismissed us saying all their wine was temperature controlled. We also mentioned this to a manager but no one came back to address the issue. Unfortunately, this is disappointing as we should have left this caliber of restaurant with nothing more more than good vibes and full stomachs!
The extra touches - chef nibbles before and post meal - on top of exquisitely prepared food and top-notch service, make this a very special restaurant.
While I have to admit that the food was good, the service was horrific. Our waiter was about to take our order then said he had to leave for a second and will be right back, he disappeared then took other tables' orders, and we had to ask another waiter to get him. My wife ordered wine and we had to ask our waiter twice for it and he kept saying sorry, he forgot, and still no wine. We had to call over another waiter to get it. This repeated itself the next glass she ordered. This kept happening all night, and even at the tables near us people were complaining about the poor service. Then, when we were leaving, we walked down the full flight of stairs to the front doors (where we entered and, in all our prior visits, had existed) only to find them locked and our Uber was waiting there. There was no sign at the top of the stairs saying the doors were locked. We walked back up, no one was around to tell us how to get out, and we finally made our way out and the car had left and I was charged a fee. So, if you like decent food, and don't mind a wait staff that clearly does not know or care what they are doing, except being skilled in avoiding serving you, then this is your place. We have been here a number of times before, but never again. I had recommended it to a friend for next week, but called them and told them to find another restaurant.
Excellent service, and delicious food. Portions are generous but not overwhelming. Excellent option for pre theater/opera.
Much MUCH improved food and menu service impeccable
You don’t find restaurants that are all around great - this is one and we plan to come back regularly. The food, service, ambiance were are exemplary, and they accommodated one person’s many food allergies seamlessly and deliciously.
