The cuisine at Lincoln Ristorante blends precise technique with the ingredients and comforting feel of an Italian kitchen. We rely on local farmers and purveyors along with weekly visits to our neighborhood Tucker Square Green Market, while importing the essential items (Parmigiano Reggiano, San Marzano tomatoes) from Italy that are irreplaceable.

Service was the best I have had in a long time. Very thoughtful and attentive.
Ty was a great and knowledgeable waiter, genuinely interested in the food. Veal and swordfish were excellent. Drinks perfect. Service impeccable! Desserts great!
Wonderful service for a pre theater dinner. Great value . Did not feel rushed and the food was delicious . Would highly recommend for any occasion and especially for a pre-theater meal.
Excellent service! Excellent food! One of my favorite restaurants in NYC.
We love Lincoln Ristorante. It never disappoints Food and service are both great !
Excellent, attentive service and varied menu. Limited, though, for vegan diets. Might try elsewhere on that front, otherwise a winner!
This is a charming, cozy place ideally suited for conversation and proximity to all Lincoln Center venues. The food is creative and delicious!
A real Italian restaurant, in that it fuses genuine Italian sensibilities with American ingredients and creativity. Everything about the food was 1st rate, citing in particular the beet salad, the mozzarella, basil and roasted peppers appetizer, the crepes and the spaghetti all chittara with seafood. Service had a few bumps, but nothing really terrible (I'm guessing someone didn't show up that day). Unlike 90% of restaurants I try, this is one I'd be happy to go back to. And even though it's pricey, I did not feel gouged.
Absolutely delicious. Pre-theater meal before Lincoln Center Theatre. Interesting and freshly sourced ingredients were breathtaking. Well done.
Good food, thoughtful service, quiet surroundings. This was our first visit, and we will definitely return
Took my husband and daughter for Father's Day. The food is undeniably good. Very rich and we all left feeling as though we'd overdone it but the cuisine was irresistible.
Excellent brunch. Beautiful space v
Great service and excellent food.
We enjoyed a pretheatre dinner here trying the prefixe menu. The room is beautiful and service is very good. We enjoyed the food but felt it should have been better considering the price point. Portions are not large.
Great food; quality products; well-trained server!
Wonderful experience. Staff was lovely and very professional. Meal was delicious. There were nice little extras and no one rushed us after dinner.
We often visit the restaurant before we attend the theater at Lincoln Center because the food is lovely. I was rather disappointed with the service on this occasion, however.
I took my mother to eat lunch at Lincoln Ristorante before seeing the ballet (ABT) at the Metropolitan Opera House. It was a lovely meal. My mother has a disability and the staff was exceptionally attentive and helpful. They have a $29 prix fixe brunch and it is a great value. We sat outside and faced the Henry Moore statue and reflecting pool in the Lincoln Center plaza and it made for terrific people watching. The food was very well made - with perfectly al dente pasta. They amuse bouche was delicious. I also had a Bellini (prosecco and peach puree) with amaretto and it was the perfect brunch drink. It felt like a special afternoon but also one that I hope to have several times a year. I plan to go back.
Food was okay. Nothing interesting or particularly flavorful. Overall I would not consider going back.
The service, in particular, was outstanding.
We have been to Lincoln twice in the last few weeks and had a great experience each time. We had a lovely table in the corner, overlooking Juliard, and quite spacious. Not noisy, lovely setting. The food was exceptional. My friend and I shared the beet salad (yum), and three of us had the duck. Outstanding. We shared a chocolate desert, which was outstanding. This restaurant has it all.
My Fair Lady followed a lovely meal at Lincoln
Loved it. Took my daughter there for her birthday and before attending the ballet. Food delicious and service impeccable.
What an amazing experience! The food was so creative, unique, and perfect. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely well-trained.
I am a well travelled chef and this dining experience soared to #1 on my list.
Lincoln Ristorante is a MUST for anyone visiting NYC.
Stunning architecture, grand views but the best parts are the exceptional food and the courteous and very professional service. A major find.
My sister and I traveled with our daughters and our niece to nyc for a special weekend to include a performance of My Fair Lady! I have dined at Lincoln many times before the opera so of course I wanted my group to experience your wonderful restaurant too! Unfortunately, a coulpe with 3 children under 4 were seated in the middle of the room in full view from our booth and it was extremely distracting and the children were out of control!! The parents did little to reign them in! I really feel that a restaurant of your high-quality should have an age restriction in order for your other guests to have the ultimate dining experience!
Service was welcoming and very kind - couldn’t have been better - food was pre theater and good but pricey for what you get especially a martini- most expensive martini of my life - unfortunately that’s what is remembered rather then the food - Bill was over 120 per person - would expect more then the 2 course meal for that
We added a vegetable and had 4 drinks 2 were glasses of wine.
It is always amazing.
A delightful dining experience in every way! The food and service are superb!
From the amuse-bouche to the gift of dessert petit fours, and everything in between made this a glorious dining experience. The room is open, the ambiance of being in the plaza at Lincoln Center is soaring. The service is first rate. The food is artful, delicious, totally reasonable prix fix lunch. The focaccia with a dip of ricotta/honey/lemon is so good. The pastas are amazing. The angel food cake dessert plate is divine. Can you tell? I love this restaurant and look forward to returning many times, with or without tickets to see a show at Lincoln Center. When you leave, you are awed by what exists in New York City, the treasure of the arts, and of fine, affordable dining.
I had the fruitti di mare spaghetti. The noodles were too thick and the fish a little old. Otherwise it was ok.
Always been fond of Lincoln, despite minor quibbles. A handsome, commodious room(s) with blessedly mute acoustics. Italian Restaurant Week Menu a bit odd, not quite adding up to a meal. Had the $41 option: an attractive burrata starter, followed by a puzzling soft shell crab sandwich. The roll and tomato sublime, but a crab that must have been undersized by any legal requirements. With a $17 glass of only adequate-size Kerner, a most pricey lunch. As always, a few tasty appreciated amuses accompany the meal.
A friend and I were celebrating our birthdays before going to the theatre, and decided to try Lincoln.
It was beyond expectations: Attentive waitstaff, beautiful décor, and delicious food.
We are already planning our next visit!
Planning on going back...everything was great!
Gracious, thoughtful service -- especially the specialty staters like focaccia bread and cheese dumpling. The food is of course great. And again the thoughtful service
Loved it. Great lunch before the ballet. Service was attentive, food was delicious. We will be back.
The Lincoln is an excellent restaurant - for the 1%. For the other 99% it is on the expensive side.
Service could not have been more attentive and gracious!
Service both outside and inside were great. Attentive without being obsequious.
Granddaughter (16) and I went here before the ballet on our “grand” New York trip. T was simply the best food ever. It is a memory we will share always. The entire trip was great but this was one of our favorites.
