About Lincoln Park Wine Bar
Lincoln Park strongly believes in utilizing the most local resources possible and supports that by how we source the food and choose the wines (& beers). Our ‘Farm to Table’ and ‘Grape to Glass’ philosophy lets patrons know how far their food and drink has traveled in order to reach them. Chef Simmons serves ‘medium plates’...some of which are seasonally inspired by backyard organic produce that local residents can bring in for trade. Many of the wines are crafted by Marin locals and Lincoln Park features these ‘wines with stories’ by having the wine maker come in to tell them.

Lincoln Park Wine Bar Ratings and Reviews
My wife and I enjoyed a spring date night at Lincoln Park over the weekend. We shared a couple of tastes of Cab Franc paired with deviled eggs, brussel sprouts, and sliders (still delicious with no buns). Fun, delicious, and relatively guilt-free. All served up by some of the nicest folks in town.
The slider and frites were good. The rest of the meal was sub-par at best. Would not recommend beet salad or bread pudding. Neither was represented as described or as shown on website. That being said, I would go back for a glass of wine and maybe the cheese plate. The place is very comfortable and easy for conversation.
Love this place! It's our go-to for a "date night" while we leave the kids at home alone or a dinner date with friends. It's a little spot of sophistication very close to home.
The wine menu is awesome, as is the food. Both rotate so you're able to get a good variety within several trips. The wait staff is always great and has good wine recommendations to pair with what you've chosen to eat (if at all) that evening.
All items on the menu here are gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free. Even dessert! The lemon custard is a must-have. The food is excellent: up to date without being trendy for the sake of trendy, made with local ingredients and prepared simply but elegantly to highlight the natural flavors. Small but very nice wine list. You can place your order at the counter, or opt for table service. The waitstaff was friendly and casual. This restaurant is aiming for a sweet spot somewhere between casual and fine-dining, and by and large it succeeds. My wife's salmon was "melt in your mouth perfect and fresh," my Tuscan roast pork was tender and flavorful, but a bit dry on the exterior as though it had been sliced a while prior to plating. The meat itself was flavorful and well-cooked. Our salads were fresh and tasty, with interesting dressings. A very nice place!
Simple, bistro-style interior is a nice introduction to Lincoln Park's small plates. Perfectly designed and executed, each of our four shared selections were delicious and well worth repeating. Looking forward to trying other choices! While their wine list may not be called extensive, the selection was pleasing. A return trip is definitely in the near future.
I'm surprised this place wasn't packed because the food was fantastic and the wine selection was great. We were not rushed through our meal, the noise level was not deafening and our waitress was awesome. I will absolutely be back, and will recommend to friends. Very warm and friendly atmosphere. Loved the wine flights and the cheese tastings. I had pan seared trout and it was delicious. 5 stars!
Three of us went out for a special dinner and wanted something that we had not experienced before, had heard about Lincoln Park and chose to try it. We were offered a table in a dark corner but asked instead to sit near a window, where the light brought some warmth to the small, plain dining room. The waitperson was just about perfect, very accommodating, also clear in describing the choices. We started with a brussel sprout hors d'oeuvres, moved on to a breaded oyster and asparagus salad. Both of these dishes were memorable with special tasty sauces. Then two of us ordered the sliders with fries and the third ordered pork cutlets, as I remember. I can only speak for the sliders which were very satisfactory and enjoyable though not brilliant. My two meal mates ordered a wonderful rye beer and I ordered a carafe of Tempranillo which was quite forgettable. On second thought, I should have ordered three different 3 0z glasses as a wine tasting since they offer quite a few different wines and surely one would have stood out. Dessert was cheesecake and a cup of chocolate mousse with salted caramel cream on top. Wow! All told, we were very glad we chose this restaurant and enjoyed the evening
We (7) really enjoyed this place. The food is an 8 but the service and the wine list/value is a 9.5. Steak snd veg were both slightly over cooked but all the flavors were very nice. Sexy smart staff knew their wines well and had great recommendations. Very nice version of a well done neighborhood bistro.
My daughter and I went to Lincoln Park Wine Bar the evening before Mother's Day to start our celebration early. LPWB did not disappoint! The food, service, and wine were all fabulous. We started with the deep fried deviled eggs, which were different and delicious. We shared the Wagu Slider and the Fried Chicken and waffles. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and tasted yummy. Steve, Kirsten and Scott took extremely good care of us. It was obvious to us that each of these individuals are very happy and willing to please! Thank you all very much.
Just an overall great experience to celebrate an anniversary. The happy hour wine specials were very nice. Food was amazing. I couldn't afford to eat and drink there every night, but the menu prices are pretty reasonable. They have options if you don't want to go BIG! I had the Schnitzel and my wife had the fried chicken drumettes and waffles plus the beet salad. Next time I will have to try the sliders...
Came here for a mid-week date night with my fiancé. The wine list has a lower section that I would say are the "must try" wines. It was great that Lincoln Park had 3oz wine options that allow you to try and pair wines with the dishes. We ordered a variety of foods off the menu. The dishes, except for the soup, were small and reasonably priced. This was good because we were able to try more items off the menu and share them us. The food came out hot and in time. The best dish was the Skywalker Ranch slider and I recommend ordering one for each person so you don't have to share this one. The sun chokes with the siracha sauce was good but a bit bland without it. The chicharrones were salty and not all crispy. The main issue was that the food sounded good but ended up being "just ok". The service was good, despite other comments saying it was slow. I appreciated that the waitress allowed us to take our time to enjoy the art in the room and make choices in our own time. She was very nice and attentive ours and other tables. Overall it was a nice night out in San Anselmo.
We were pleasantly surprised by this small restaurant here in our own area. We have our regular favorites here in town, so it was great to add to our list of places we know we will enjoy.
I highly recommend it, especially for Marin folks who want to try a local place that will delight.
My husband and I had a date night at Lincoln Park Wine bar the other night. We found the food to be extremely good but the service was so slow. We had the brussel sprouts (delicious) the mussels (large and yummy!) the toasted bread that tasted home made. The tables are sort of crowded together which I don't really like but for some that might add to the vibrancy of this little restaurant. Maybe on a less busy night this might be a better choice. We went on a Saturday night.
Lincoln Park is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere! Such a gem - amazing food and a carefully chosen wine list. Service is professional yet warm and the chef is on his game. Brussels sprouts, golden beet salad, extraordinary soups. The chicken drumettes are classily yummy, sliders, or a variety of entrees to tempt you. Lincoln Park is a Marin / Ross Valley nugget.
I'm so happy I found this place on a recent visit to the area. There was only one person serving and bartending. Several tables came in and there were some inside, as well as outside. The service was outstanding!
And the food did not disappoint. I started with a glass of chardonnay, which quickly became my new favorite. I will have to find out how to purchase it back home. I had the beet and mozzarella salad. The mozzarella was more like a burrata consistency and I really enjoyed it. Not too much dressing, but just enough to bring the flavors together. I also had the PEI mussels, which were cooked perfectly.
I would definitely seek this place out again when I return to the area.
Let's be clear, Lincoln Park is our "go to" restaurant. The food and service, and wine, are so good, we really don't stray far. The fare is seasonal and amazingly creative. The service is always personal. As I write this I'm craving the Skywalker Ranch Sliders - OMG! Get a reservation if you can, as the regulars are just that -- regular, and you won't want to miss out!
