Went here for post-graduation brunch. Couldn’t hear anything inside so asked to be moved outside...wasn’t acknowledged that we were celebrating special and service was mediocre at best. Food was fairly good.

We ordered drinks and an appetizer, and then gave the waiter our entree order. Within 10 minutes, EVERYTHING came out at once. Not sure how I feel about them having two fish dishes prepared in 10 minutes...anyway, service was incredibly slow, the branzino was in a dark-colored broth that added no flavor, and the best thing about the dinner were the fries and my glass of wine. If I ever returned, it would be for happy hour. There are much better places in this area for dinner. Would not recommend.

Can’t believe I’d never eaten at Lincoln before. Cool space, kind staff and servers, tasty 3-course lunch is a good deal.

Server was very nice. Attentive to dietary needs, but items came out that I couldn't eat. Steak temperature was very cool Limited wine selection.

I brought my family here as our end cap to D.C. It was good 7 years ago, and it’s still good. The deviled eggs and power lunch were great ideas/ suggestions.

Their $25 asparagus scallop salad cane only with 3 tiny scallop. Way overpriced for the quality and portion sized offered compare to similar restaurants in the area.

I had been to Lincoln before and it was very nice but this time was a mess we sat and waited for a waiter for over 20 min to be half waited on it seemed like there was not enough staff to accommodate the amount of people there the music was way to loud i couldn't even hear my friends. And to make matters worse the buffet was dead nothing left and nothing replenished. Horrible birthday brunch i will not come again.

Our server and host were very kind and professional. The food was good, and our server did acknowledge my sister's birthday with a dessert. But I had no idea that Sunday brunch had become so loud and "turned up." Having a DJ play music fitting for a nightclub scene was a little much for my family and me at Sunday brunch.

Disappointing on a number of levels. I felt I had to keep calling the servers because they weren’t checking in. They got my initial order wrong. And I was surprised at how little chicken they added to the salad considering how much extra I paid for the chicken - Chopt would have been a much better experience. We asked for two takeaway bags and they brought just one.

We had an awkward experience with the server at first, but he made up for it big time with a bunch of free appetizers and free ice cream for my co-workers’ celebrating their birthday. The server and his support staff provided us with excellent hospitality. I have not been treated in that way in the dc area, and will be sure to come back! Plus I work right next door! I left impressed and so will you! Give them a try for lunch

Great brunch spot. Loved the bottomless mimosas. Some places that offer bottomless avoid you and make you ask for a refill, thereby keeping you from drinking very many. This place was amazing at filling us up even before we were empty. They also made a special eggs benedict for me that wasn't on the menu. Loved it here, highly recommended.

The waitress was so kind. The food was over priced. We had the-pork chop and we could have fixed it better on the grill. No seasoning and very fatty.

Our party of four was seated promptly, and our server (George) was excellent. All of our menu selections were intriguing and wonderful. Ordering 7 "small plates" among 4 people, we had more than enough to eat - could not finish it all, hard as we tried. The room was noisy, but that goes with the territory - Friday evening, with a bachelorette party at the bar.

Restaurant ambiance is awesome, good energy etc. the food is wonderful but the service is very slow and disorganized. I saw these same types of comments in other reviews and I can say that the service issue comments are accurate. Aside from that the place is great!

I've been numerous times, and as always this restaurant does not disappoint! I brought a friend for brunch (it was her first time and she thoroughly ENJOYED it!) ...I'll be back again and again - the food is outstanding, the service is great and the bottomless mimosas keep coming! Moses was our server and he was ABSOLUTELY wonderful!!

Double date at Lincoln, great ambiance and location however the food tastes like what you would imagine fancy gourmet nursing home food would taste like. Bland but well cooked. No strong flavors in favor of comfort food

Lincoln is definitely one of my go to restaurants because it’s located so closely to my office, but the food is always delicious, and the outdoor tables are great for big groups and for small gatherings. The location is also super convenient for the k street crowd. The sandwiches and salads are all really delicious. This time I had the lobster roll which was fresh and tasty.

The happy hour menu is also great for a few drinks after work. Definitely get the deviled eggs and the Moscow Mule in an aluminum cup is really authentic.

Original artwork by Maggie O’Neill inside is really the topper, as she is a local impressionist artist who really captures the feel and warmth of a warm spring day in DC.

I used to LOVE Lincoln. This visit was different. Waiters couldn't get straight who was our server, it was confusing and then they both kept bringing it up to us, as if we should moderate their debate decide ourselves. After ordering it for years, they wouldn't give us salmon on the kale salad. So we ordered the kale salad. and the salmon. And combined them. Which really seems like something the kitchen could do. The food was less special than usual and the staffing felt really iffy. Hope it's just an off day; usually it's a great neighborhood joint - funkier and more relaxed than most places nearby.

Great food and employees!
The only 2 things I would change would be
1) decrease the amount of salt in the food.
2) have server who brings out the food know the name of the entrée. She pronounced gnocchi wrong. I don't want people to make fun of her.
Otherwise, 2 thumbs up!

Very tasty food but poor service-didnt receive drinks for 25 minutes after order and server generally absent. Saw other servers taking care of their tables so maybe just an isolated experience.

Great food and service. I have been and will always be in love with the decor. The music the DJ played was great. The only thing I’d say was off was the volume. Turning it down just a touch would make the experience that much better!
