I had never heard of this restaurant probably because Lincoln is such a common name in DC, but I am glad to have come upon this place. The food was decent and similar to comfort food tapas. The menu was not very big, but I prefer smaller menus if the items they have are good. The cocktails were tasty and unique. If I am in the area again I would certainly consider returning.

The service was lackluster. I have been here a handful of times and never had this poor of an experience. The food was still great, just going to look at other options going forward because of the service.

LINCOLN doesn't disappoint. The tapas-style food is delicious. The wine/beer selections were quite good, and the staff works hard to keep you happy. Plus the place is always packed (reservations recommended). And where else could you find an Abe Lincoln look-alike to pose for selfies?

I've been to Lincoln several times, but this will be the last. The place was so noisy we couldn't hold a conversation at the table. The food was pretty mediocre - we contemplated sending a couple of items back, but didn't primarily because the service was so atrocious we didn't want to wait an extra hour. The server got our orders wrong, brought one person's salad and another's entree at the same time. Food sort of appeared at random intervals. We had to ask for things that were ordered but not brought out. And then later they tried to serve us stuff we didn't order. Then the server disappeared for about 10 minutes. It appeared he left the restaurant. We had to ask another waiter to get our check. Not a nice evening.

A friend recommended Lincoln for a Sunday brunch get together and it did not disappoint. The ambiance is very hip and the decor is a super cool tribute to Abe Lincoln. There's a live DJ mixing the perfect blend of house music throughout brunch. They offer an all you can eat brunch but we didn't take advantage because it was a late reservation and the buffet closes by 3pm. However, I had the Shrimp & Grits and the deviled eggs which were both excellent. My friend had the chicken & waffles which was also excellent. We took advantage of the bottomless mimosa special for $21. Mackenzie was a fantastic server!
I highly recommend but make a reservation!!!

I made this booking with the expectation that it was for Restaurant Week. When we arrived, we were told that RW lunch was not an option and no accommodations were made. This was very misleading since I didn't see any disclaimers about RW lunch not being available on the weekend. The service was mediocre - we waited 10 minutes before a server came by to take our order - and then at the end, the server rushed us to pay the bill.

Lincoln offered a range of small plate options which were locally sources and quite tasty. Our service was excellent with attentive but not overbearing wait staff. This was my second visit and I would definitely book again!

It's not often that I get to write a review where three people had dinner & everyone agreed that the meal, service, & ambience were all outstanding. Lincoln did a great job in all three of these categories & so much more. We were three & hadn't seen each other in while, so this was a really nice get-together. We started at the bar & witnessed waves of patrons coming in for dinner, while others were turned away because they didn't have reservations. Cocktails were exceptional & reasonably priced, but the Restaurant Week menu was the star of the show. All three of us were equally impressed with the pre fixe menu options & the meals were incredible. Our waiter was exquisitely knowledgable of the menu & wine options. It was a fun experience & Lincoln is to be lauded for their outstanding effort.

What a lovely experience we had celebrating my best friend’s birthday. The scene is vibrant, the food was so delicious and the “Gettysburg Address” was so delicious. I can’t wait to come back. I love the new floor and the artwork is really good.

We enjoyed our first visit during summer 2017. It was really disappointing when we went back during Jan 2018 for restaurant week. The rw menu offered few options and not much appeal. All of our food arrived at the same time. The appetizers, main courses, and dessert (with ice cream) were all served at the same time. The food was okay, but not great. Our drinks (non-alcoholic) took too long, and I also heard another server apologize to a neighboring table that their wine was slow.

We were very pleased with the menu choices. The only problem was that the salmon dish stated “root vegetables” which turned out to be mainly beets (not a favorite at all). Change the menu to specify beets. Love all root veggies except beets-I know I’m not alone.

Went here for a business meeting. It was too loud to conduct business. Thought it might be better after happy hour was over. That proved to not be the case. Overall, not where I will ever conduct a business dinner again. However, the bar is a good scene. The drinks are on point. Bar menu is creative.

Normally I've found this place to be a perfectly pleasant work lunch option, but I went yesterday and it was just *awful*. My cobb salad was a sad-looking pile of browning wilted iceberg with also too-far-gone avocado and red pepper and very little chicken to speak of. I'm easy to please food-wise--but this just sucked!

The service is quite good--but the adequate service can't make up for the bad food.

PS Note to Lincoln, your latest menu is full of typos ("tator tots") and mis-translation between main menu and power lunch menu (same description for two totally different dishes between menus). Get a better copy editor--it's confusing!

We came for New Year's Eve and the restaurant, surprisingly, was not busy for the holiday... the food was pretty good but the service was absolutely horrible. Our server was highly unprofessional and condescending. He seemed to take issue with our request to explain the special tasting menu for the evening and, really, any other questions we had too. He referred to a few of the ladies at our table as mama, ma, and boo. He also barely checked on us all night, even after the kitchen slowed down and we waited more than 2 hours for our third course. We had to flag down busboys to fulfill simple requests (that would have been taken care of had he paid us any attention) and constantly remind the staff that we still hadn't received our food. AND after all of this, a manager finally let us know they had run out of the food we were waiting for. Finally, at the end of the evening, we received an apology from management and we were also given a discount on our meal, which was appreciated. Not sure if this was a one time thing for them but I probably won't be going back.

Although my first experience at this restaurant in November was fabulous, I returned for my birthday celebration in December. I asked for a table by the window, the hostess was rude and begrudgingly placed us a the table we requested. They did not acknowledge my Birthday. The attitude of the waiter was rude as well. The food was better than average. I ate the salmon with black rice, my partner had a chicken dish which was average. We will not return.

The server Milena gave poor service. We were a party of 8, and I would assume we would get at least standard service, but that was not the case. The server was not attentive. Several times, we had to ask other servers to get her. We even placed an order through another server. Milena rarely checked on our table, and after she took our drink order, we did not see her for 20 mins. We had to flag her down to order our food. This is my favorite restaurant, and I would hate for the position to be ruined in my mind because of bad service.

Although the space is nice, this was by far the worst restaurant that I have had a Sunday brunch in DC in years. It's a hip hop brunch with a DJ spinning records. Between the music and young folks talking, no one at our table could hear ourselves talk. Then, a homeless person came to our table from outside and begged for money. Really? No one stopped her from coming in. I was stunned to see so many young ladies dressed in silver and gold lame' dresses and wearing flip flops and bed room slippers! You will not get my phone number. Instead I would run like hell. The food was just ok. In short, I was shocked at this Sunday brunch. Hope other days are better.

The food here is good. They have taken old favorites and made them "special". Some of the tapas are rather generic, but still tasty. The decor with the Lincoln theme is a delight. The after work bar scene is lively, to say the least. Great place to go with friends if you want to enjoy a cocktail and some nibbles, not a good place for an intimate dinner with a friend because of the noise level. Our waiter was not very attentive, and he gave us the wrong bill. I tried three times to get someone's attention, and because I was not their customer, they weren't willing to come to my table. Might give this place another try, might not.
