About Lincoln - DC

LINCOLN is a collaboration of gastronomy, mixology and design.
Savor our seasonal American small plate menu crafted from fresh ingredients supplied by local & regional farms. LINCOLN pays tribute to one of our greatest US Presidents, with nods to many of his favorite foods including oysters, gingerbread and chicken pot pie.
If you’re thirsty for cocktails that are truly one-of-a-kind, our barkeeps, have created one of the city’s freshest bar programs highlighted by mason jars featuring infused bourbons and DC's first moonshine-list served in antique-style copper cups. In warm weather months enjoy our patio offering panoramic views of DC’s urban landscape. LINCOLN is the right place for your next private event with many options for private dining from 10 to 200.
Original paintings and a distinctive interior design by homegrown pop artist, Maggie O’Neill make LINCOLN a feast for the senses at Lunch, happy hour, dinner, brunch or after dark.

Sunday brunch the Musics is just a little too loud to have a conversation. With your date. The whole restaurant is yelling to talk to their guest

Good food and service. American cuisine in a small plate format, which is nice for group dining.

Always good food and energy at The Lincoln. It's a bit noisy for conversation, but worth it. Very comfortable.

The server was professional and a hoot to boot. The bar-server mixed up our drink order and our server resilved the issue immediately. The food was delicious; sizable tapas portions. I will be back.

We spent a beautiful day visiting the historical Lincoln's Cottage and Arlington Cemetery. We decided to eat at the Lincoln DC Restaurant. We were greeted and due to our Open Table reservations, we were seated immediately. Our friendly and informative waiter, Kadeem, gave us tips about Washington D.C. and recommendations for choosing our meal. He was very knowledgeable and he did not rush us. We started with a nice bottle of red wine, we had the Pinot Noir-Poached Pear Salad, the Roasted Miso Cured Salmon and the Pan Roasted Grouper. They were all delicious. However, I was extremely impressed with the black rice. It had a wonderful texture and flavor. I would highly recommend this restaurant and ask for Kadeem to be your waiter.

Food was, as usual, great. This was a business dinner and requested a quiet(er) area, and staff noted that and accommodated. Love Lincoln — that’s why I own two of their souvenir shirts!!

Delicious American style tapas. I was worried about portion sizes but there was more than enough to go around. The drinks were expertly mixed and the dishes mouth watering. Would happily go back anytime

Went to Lincoln for Thanksgiving dinner with friends. Food was very pleasant but not fantastic and did not represent value for money. Nice interior and busy atmosphere if not a bit crowded. Service was very good.

I see there are mixed reviews, I don’t know why. It was great! I will go back. Had reservations, dropped by to check out the location. Host had us sit at the bar. Bartender was friendly, made a great drink recommendation. Got seated quickly. Waitress was very helpful with suggestions. Food was good. Price was affordable. Not loud as other reviews stated. Great dining experience.

My family was in DC for the Thanksgiving holiday and had heard good things about Lincoln for their Thanksgiving buffet. Sadly, we were very underwhelmed by the experience. Let me begin with the positive, our server was wonderful - professional, attentive, and helpful, and the decor is charming. Now on to the negative - the food was very underwhelming. To begin, the starters were mediocre at best. The Waldorf salad was nearly inedible. It had clearly been made well in advance and was soggy and tasteless. The main course was blah - the turkey was dry, the sides were cold and the stuffing was burnt. The highlights were the salmon and the mashed potatoes. Lastly, we were served dessert - no one finished theirs. The apple crisp and pear tart were served cold and the pumpkin donut was just plain gross . It was supposed to be similar to a beignet, but it came out hard as a rock. The desserts had obviously been made in advance as well. They would have been much better if they had been served warm. I hate to be so negative with my review, but we were not satisfied with our dining experience. For $60 a person, I expect better quality food.

MIND-BOGGLINGLY terrible—their brunch "features" a DJ, who not only blasts music (during BRUNCH!) at ear-splitting levels, but appears to know only male artists, if his playlist was anything to go by. Truly a hideously poor experience. Will let every single one of my friends know that this place is atrocious.

We went to the Lincoln for my husband's 36th birthday dinner. The restaurant was about 35% full and i put on the reservation that it husband's birthday and we wanted to sit in the red room which has a nice ambiance. The hostess pushed back at first and was going to seat us at a regular table in the front of the restaurant and i reminded her that it was my husband's birthday and we would wait for a table in the red room (which had 3 open tables at the time). So she ended up seating us there. For the price of the food it wasn't very good, under seasoned we didn't even finish the food. Also they didn't do anything for his birthday for dessert. Also from the time we sat the food came out in 10 minutes so the whole meal start to finish was 30 minutes. Usually when we go out for tapas the food comes spaced out and we enjoy trying different drinks, etc. We wouldn't go back even if the prices were lower. Not at all impressed. Also when we left we noticed all but one table was open in the red room so it's not like there was any reason she should have gives us a hard time about wanting to sit back there..

Not sure why this restaurant puts such an emphasis on small plates - menu items can stand on their own as apps or entrees and several items are decidedly not conducive to sharing. Similarly confused about inclination to add bacon to everything - especially cocktails. A good Manhattan doesn’t improve with bacon

Cute place, though service was slow. It’s billed as tapas for sharing, but isn’t served that way (how do you share soup??). That said, the staff, while slow, were nice. It wasn’t busy, so not sure why we had such poor service.

Went here for brunch this weekend. They had a DJ blasting dance music at about 110 decibels. If you’ve been to an EDM festival and had the thought “dang I’d love to just sit down and eat brunch right here” then this is the spot for you.

My family was in from out of town and Lincoln was recommended to us as a nice place with small plates, which we love. The overall vibe of the place was awesome and the food, delicious. Our waiter looked fairly new, a bit of a deer in the headlights, which would have been fine. However, his suggestion was to order roughly 2 small plates per person, again fine and that is what we did. and he assured us that the kitchen would pace our plates accordingly. Instead of having a lovely meal and savoring the variety of flavors that we ordered, our food was brought out within 2 minutes of each other, by the time we had a bite of our first dishes, additional dishes were served. When we asked that they slow down since at this point, there was literally no more room at our table for any more plates, they looked at us like they had no idea there was an issue with 10 plate of food all being served within 15 minutes of each other. Miserable experience that left us with cold food and indigestion to boot. For a place that was busy but not super packed, it was crazy that we sat down and paid our bill within an hour and 10 minutes. We weren't looking to spend 4 hours at a meal, but certainly didn't expect this crazy pace. Worst dining experience I've had in a while.
