So we wanted to try something different from the normal, I just randomly picked this place. I had the lamb shoulder and my wife had the salmon with a side of Mac and cheese we shared. I was ok, for the price I would have thought it would have been mouth watering but it was not. My lamb was shredded lamb over cooked, unseasoned, just bland all around. The Mac and cheese was doable not the best but it was the best thing we got. The salmon was bland. Being a chef myself I just was expecting more taste wise from the food. Service was amazing though, I may try their brunch just to see if there is a difference.
Bottomless menu was changed last minute which was very frustrating. Service was impeccable though!
Went to Easter Brunch which is a set menu. They ran out of several items on the menu. Didn’t enjoy my meal as the choices I wanted weren’t available. We had an excellent waitress though.
We came for Easter brunch and they were serving a $55/p pre fixe. When they called to confirm I asked if they would be offering a drink package on Easter that we could add on and he said yes we could do the $20/p bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary’s. When we arrived the sever told us that was not available. Everything after continued to go down hill. The sever hardly ever came to our table and it took us so long to order. We never had a water bottle on our table and only got refilled once when I asked. Multiple dishes came out wrong or poorly including the omelet missing the prosciutto, the eggs Benedict with a watery liquid (not yolk) when it was punctured and all the desserts with ice cream melted to a puddle. The manager hardly wanted to discuss the dessert because we had already alerted him of the prior issues and he was avoiding our table. They took off two of the five pre-fixe which considering all the issues, total lack of service and low quality of the food, did not suffice. We were extremely disappointed especially it being a holiday and celebratory for a friends birthday and one in town for the weekend.
Amazing Easter brunch. As always I love this place good drinks and good food also great server.
The steak frites was perfectly cooked and delicious. Service was outstanding. A wonderful dining experience.
I sat by the window, wonderful view of outside. Waiter was nice, also food, especially love the decors. Historic pics, even at ladies’ room. Would be great for groups eating there!
Love the place
Amazing food, ambience and customer service
The atmosphere is amazing and the unlimited brunch can not be beat.
Great service. All you can eat and drink for a Sunday brunch. Mimosa glass never made it more than halfway empty before being refilled. Food was delicious and came out in short order. A must see location!
We had a lovely time. We didn’t plan on coming to Lincoln, but a mix-up with the reservation date at our initial restaurant led us to making a snap decision on where to go. Lincoln was close by and had availability and I’d heard good things, so we decided to go for it. What a great choice! The ambiance is top tier. The decor is chic and isn’t gaudy with its presidential theme. We sat in the back room and the lighting was phenomenal. We were huge fans of the mason jar light fixtures. Our server LJ was attentive but not overbearing, and he had a snarky sense of humor that we all appreciated. The drinks were fantastic. I got the Lady Lincoln and was pleased. The St.Germain to Prosecco ratio was perfect. The crispy Brussels sprouts are divine. The short rib poutine was good, though I think a different cheese would’ve been better. We were expecting a piece of a smoked salmon filet or a small patty made with smoked salmon for the smoked salmon slider, but instead it was lox. Nevertheless, it was a delicious slider! I would recommend a visit!
A WHOLE VIBE!!!! I love and def will be coming back
Always lovely! Cheers.
The service was very timely and respectful. Additionally, the facility was very trendy and clean. Great spot!
Food was good! Waiter was rude. He stated that “Brothers and Sisters are so gimme gimme gimme”. He also questioned if we really want all that we ordered.
Excellent price fixed menu for Valentine's Day. Of course the decor is Pres. Lincoln-themed so I was unsure of what to expect. But to my surprise and delight, the food was delicious. As a starter, we had the sweet potato soup. It was sweet, creamy and almost dessert-like. It was topped with what I think were a few toasted rosemary leaves which provided a wonderful flavor complement to the creamy soup. For our entree, we had the beef bourgennione pot pie which was way better than I thought. It was beef bourgennione in a mini skillet topped with a light puff pastry cover. It was amazing. For dessert, we had the apple tart tatin. The apple tart was a thin, soft layer of apple tart covered with 2 generous dollups of what I believe it was a creamy, sweet goat cheese. It was outstanding and the perfect ending to a perfect dinner. The staff was attentive with all the Covid protocols in place. I highly recommend Lincoln.
I went for Valentine’s, we were seated quickly. However no one came to the table for over 5min to even great us. The lights were far to bright for a romantic dinner. The salmon was bland, and the apple tart was inedible. Would not recommend. Wasn’t worth the hype. I won’t go back.
I enjoyed the atmosphere however the portions of food wasn't enough and you need more of a selection drinks were good the waiter was very polite and my guess for that night but it was a very enjoyable date night I will be returning to your restaurant thanks again for the experience
We dined at Lincoln on Valentine’s Day and had a very disappointing experience. First, we came for an early seating hoping to avoid the crowds. There was no one there apart from one table stiill partying from their brunch reservation. They made the restaurant feel like a zoo - screaming, laughing, shrieking. So inconsiderate. I could not hear our server take our order even though we were on the opposite side of the restaurant. Two of the servers were also playing with a small child - running around, punching - right next to our table. This was not the romantic experience we were hoping for. We could not hear ourselves think. The table finally left, but I was horrified that the management did not see this as a problem.
Now the food. It was VDay menu for two and looked promising. But dish after dish was just terrible. Sweet potato soup needed something fresh to cut through the one note, heavy taste. The short rib pot pie was extremely greasy with a sad, undercooked round of pastry on top. Brussel sprouts were tasty but super greasy, too. Steak was overcooked in one part and raw in the other. The dessert was abominable: a tarte tatin wiith raw pastry under green, unappatizing apple slices. The server was nice and tried his best, but that was not enough to make up for the rest of the experience. We willl not be returning and recommend everyone to stay away.
The server brandy was very attentive to the tables needs. She was very personable and made our experience terrific.
I always have the best service and experience at Lincoln. I am pleased at how they have everything set up to meet Covid regulations. The food is always great. Our server Brandy was very attentive and friendly.
Short pours on expensive drinks!
Great Valentine's Day dinner....had the place to ourselves for 45 minutes. Great food, good service!
Excellent food, even better service!
Great restaurant week menu. Wonderful service. Will definitely come back here again !!!
Went here for a Friday night dinner. Was nice to visit downtown DC again despite the pandemic causing a lot of spots to close down in downtown DC. The outdoor heating was also good and provided a fair amount of warmth. The food was delicious. Will definitely go back in the future.
Lincoln is always reliably good. They've got good food and good drinks. Flies under the radar, but we always leave this restaurant really satisfied. Also, great for happy hour!
I really enjoyed restaurant week! I highly recommend it
Very good, service was friendly and very attentive. Food and drinks were at a reasonable price and management was very attentive as well helping the bar staff.
Awesome service with Nia and amazing vibes. Thanks for great brunch. The bottomless and food options hands down. I got the burger and it was so good.
New Year’s Eve
The decoration of the place is great and the service is good! Overall I'd go back because of the COVID19 measures they have put in place, they have done a great job, we felt comfortable all the time. We were just disappointed with the food taste, we were expecting a richer palette of flavors for the dishes we requested.
Fantastic restaurant. Kale salad is like no other. Very finally minced with ingredients like small surprises in every bite. Appropriately priced.
Great brunch! Love the bottomless mimosa option and the outdoor seating.
had good weather to sit outside--it was a great lunch with superb service--loved the chicken and waffle.
The staff here was phenomenal! They are VERY generous on the alcohol. The food was awesome and the bottomless brunch deal was incredibly worth it. Pre-pandemic, I know there was a DJ at brunch. I don't recall whether they're still having one.
Very nice patio setting with trees, soft lighting and heaters. Our waiter was attentive, made great recommendations (our steak burgers were excellent!), observed social distancing and wore masks. Perfect atmosphere to enjoy dinner and cocktails despite the backdrop of the Covid-19 public health emergency.
We found out Biden became President while eating brunch! It was a total celebration. The food was amazing and our waiter Moses was wonderful!! We will be back soon!
The restaurant felt tired and a bit unclean.
The food was passable and service OK.
I wouldn't return.
