Lincoln - DC
Savor our seasonal American small plate menu crafted from fresh ingredients supplied by local & regional farms. LINCOLN pays tribute to one of our greatest US Presidents, with nods to many of his favorite foods including oysters, gingerbread and chicken pot pie.
If you’re thirsty for cocktails that are truly one-of-a-kind, our barkeeps, have created one of the city’s freshest bar programs highlighted by mason jars featuring infused bourbons and DC's first moonshine-list served in antique-style copper cups. In warm weather months enjoy our patio offering panoramic views of DC’s urban landscape. LINCOLN is the right place for your next private event with many options for private dining from 10 to 200.
Original paintings and a distinctive interior design by homegrown pop artist, Maggie O’Neill make LINCOLN a feast for the senses at Lunch, happy hour, dinner, brunch or after dark.
I had a great time having brunch with my friends.
Food was excellent! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely visit again.
Very loud and was led by server to believe we needed more
food than we ended up needing.
Love the Lincoln and so happy to see how busy it was during lunch. The only thing is that it is pretty loud, so if you're talking to work with a group, you're not going to get alot done.
One of the best meals that I have had while I’ve been in DC. Will definitely go back gere
Way too loud for a group dinner. You can barely hear anyone else at the table.
Great place for a business lunch. Not too crowded, not too loud, convenient location and great food that is served relatively fast.
Food was good, service was good, items came out in a timely manner as ordered...Also there was a DJ playing music adding to ambiance...Music was loud enough to hear but also low enough to not interfere with ability to hear your conversation...Overall brunch experience was very good
Our server, Scott, was amazing!
Great restaurant! The food was good, but the music is extremely loud and makes it hard to hear conversations.
Confused about whether it’s a small plate restaurant or not! Some dishes are full meals and some aren’t. Waitress said to pick 2 dishes per person, but we opted for 1-1 1/5 per person. 2 would have been way too much!!
Everything on the menu was so delicious. The ambience was awesome! Will definitely go back again.
Great fun and love this place
I did not like the change of music from the previous times I've visited. I very much preferred the hip hop and the urban environment. I went with a group of 7 friends on a Sunday, which is normally the busiest day of the week for brunch, and Lincoln was barely half full at 12:30 on a Sunday. It was quite disappointing. My server Moses was amazing though. He took care of us like his own daughters, but outside of that, the new Lincoln experience was lack luster. #BringBackTheOldLincoln
The service at the Lincoln was very good; however, the food was average. We paid quite a bit of money for braised short ribs that tasted like chuck roast. They were tender, but there was very little flavor to them, and they had the fat and flavor of a chuck roast that you put in the crockpot. (I am very familiar with this because that is how I cook chuck roast.). The roasted potatoes were good. There were very few gluten free options or dairy free options, which was disappointing. Overall, the food was okay, but not worth the $42 for a rib and some potatoes.
Food was good. Pretty sure waitress was high. Spoke very slurred and almost like barely awake. Had whole restaurant almost empty, stuck us next to two guys who were practically yelling.
Too loud to conduct a business meeting (lunch)
Excellent brunch with great tunes. Would definitely return.
The food was fresh and well prepared everything was delicious from the kale salad to the pork chop and Brussels sprouts. Drinks and dessert were great and Teagan provides excellent service.
Good food, good ambiance... we had a great remind from our first time there 2 years ago and so we returned.
This time the service was very poor and even unprofessional when setting table off while part of us were still dining. Anyway it is a good value restaurant and MacnCheese and Risotto were superb
The only complaint I have is that the waiters try to take my plate before I'm done!
Was meeting a client for business meeting. Made a reservation but reception could not find it when i arrived. I said that was fine, please let me guest know when I arrive where I'm sitting. My guest was placed in the back of the restaurant and we both waited for one another for 20 minutes not realizing we were both there waiting for the other until I received a text saying he was sitting in the back wondering if I was still planning on coming to lunch. I eat here a lot and this was not a great experience. Was something wrong with your system? if so, a back up needs to be in place bc i was left feeling disappointed that I had lost precious time with a client.
I never get Sunday’s off, ever. So when I found out I would have Sunday off I decided that we should do brunch!! A friend of mine said he would take care of the reservation but when it came to the day before he told me he hadn’t made ya a reservation. The staff at Lincoln was great. Very accommodating. The bottomless mimosas was a must for the group. The buffet was a great deal seeing as how they had chef made to order omelettes, chicken and waffles, and cut fruit. I got the lobster bene which was great and some sort of a maple bourbon cocktail (I don’t remember what it was called) both were amazing. Our server offered us some champagne for the table. Everything was great and I would definitely recommend the place. However if you want a quiet brunch I wouldn’t suggest it. They had a live DJ which for the group we went with was great but for a brunch date for 2 I think it would be a bit much.
Good food, but small portions and expensive pricing.
Restaurant was loud and not worth the money - food was overpriced would not recommend
Love Lincoln. My favorite restaurant. Food always delicious and the staff very attentive
The Brussels sprouts were very good, which was the only highlight of my meal. My friend ordered the NY strip which lacked in flavor, the sweet potatoes were still a bit too hard (and she likes al dente) but the pineapple upside down cake was delish, she said. I had salmon which needed salt, and the mayo-like cream schmear was not tasty at all. I wished I known the sorbet (with seasonal fruit) was mango - which I do not care for.
Additionally, our waiter disappeared for 10 minutes as we waited to pay our check. When he returned, to another table of 8 and began taking their order, we flagged down a different waitress to handle the payment. Which was very annoying.
Went for restaurant week but ended up ordering off the menu instead. Really enjoyed the Gaspacho soup - fresh, tasty, light. My tuna dish was dry and rather bland. Rather a disappointment. Cute interior. Nice window seats. Bar area loud though. Cute back overflow rooms. Nice evening. I would recommend it but won't rush back.
The service was awesome. The food was great as always!
We had an amazing experience at Lincoln. Scott, our server, was knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations and was friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic and we had a wonderful dinner.
This is my go-to spot to bring clients. The menu is varied and creative. Don't change a thing.
The food is great and so is the atmosphere the staff was wonderful! I enjoyed myself and so did my date! Definitely check this place out if you have not! It’s a DC Must!
Joli cadre. Plats sympathiques à des prix tres corrects.
A little noisy but food is always good and service is pretty good/standard too.
Not good for lunch meeting
Nothing particularly inspiring. Mainly young professionals enjoying happy hour. Menu not extensive. Sevice was commendable. I found the Lincoln theme odd. The picture of the shapely female torso in chains above the urinal was in poor taste.
I love this place my fiance bday and they have the best male staff I every seen was very on point sunday August 4th 2019 time was 11:15 am to about 4.30 pm we had brunch until 2pm and me and my girl cousins daughters and friend stay at the bar and dance enjoy DJ...
The food was great but the service was just ok. Although the servers were nice and polite the whole system didn’t seem to function as well as it could have.
great food, great space, but the service could have been way better. my friend and i ordered two bottles of wine throughout the night and I ended up refilling our glasses, we were given unnecessary comments when asked to keep a menu to order more food, we went to celebrate the completion of a masters program and at the beginning of experience our server kindly offered a complementary round of drinks for dessert but when the time came we were never given a dessert menu or the promised drinks, instead we were handed the bill and I had to ask for the round of champagne (and was given more attitude for wanting more to drink). after hawking around the table for the check (and not refilling our glasses of wine with half a bottle left) we paid and our server came to the table asking about the quality of the service. i remained calm and explained to him what we were upset about - he didn’t apologize and instead got very defensive, argumentative, and raised his voice. our entire wonderful evening was ruined after that.
Lincoln was fabulous! Great service and yummy food. They have a new craft cocktail menu, and the atmosphere is nice and fun - everywhere you look there is a cool, subtle, funky tribute to the restaurant’s namesake. Our server was so sweet & really made us feel at home.
