Had a great brunch with friends! The food and service was amazing! Music was a tad loud
The service was terrific. The location was convenient but I would have liked a bigger selection on the menu.
The Brussels sprouts were excellent. The deviled eggs were just okay. My homemade are better. I ordered the scallops. Only got 4. We were still hungry when we left. The service was great. Overall a mediocre experience.

Great venue for a reunion of four couples! The staff was excellent and the meal delicious.
The flavor profile of the Sunday brunch chef’s table was uninspiring. While the food was displayed beautifully, everything lacked the proper seasoning and the bottomless booze was mixed poorly. Don’t let the fresh omelette and waffle stand trick you. It was a total (expensive $52) disappointment. Honestly, you’re better off making the trip to VA and going to Blackwall Hitch.
Everything was very bland. Had salmon dish, Brussels and Mac and cheese. Everything was so average

A confused restaurant. Waiter said the concept was ‘kinda American tapas, with each plate having 4oz protein and a side.’ What?
It was late, so we ordered. Steak came with rancid tasing potatoes. Pork was covered in bread crumbs and tasted old. White wine was warm. Service was slow.
It’s a confused place with mediocre, greasy food.
I got the chicken pot pie, and it was very good. The only downside to the restaurant was feeling rushed by the waiter to order, but I wouldn't let it stop me from visiting again.
Birthday. Restaurant gave us a free slice of cake and offered us champagne when we asked for a photo. Nice!

Excellent Sunday Brunch spot. Try the bottomless Bloody Marys it Mimosas, as well as the Deviled Eggs. Kudos to my server Wes for being so nice and his amazing service.
Interesting restaurant. Location isn’t far from the Metro, but not a whole lot right next to it. Decor is cool, but a bit strange especially in the bathrooms. Not sure what they were going for there - funny but seems out of character (made me wonder if it also hosts raves). Food was good and our server was great at explaining the menu and tending to us without hovering. Leisurely pace and we weren’t rushed to leave, although it was very quiet when we arrived.
Food ranged from ok to good, but the place is simply to noisy to be enjoyable.
Food was just overall not good. The kale salad, salmon entree and short rib entree were all under seasoned and slightly overcooked. Service was better than the food, but still not great. No not to return here.
Met with an old colleague for lunch and found the food delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced for Farragut. It was well lit, staff was attentive, and our table was comfortable - we weren't crowded into a small table for two. Definitely make a reservation!
If I had to net it out, I’d say the total experience was very average other than the service. It’s billed as a fine food restaurant, yet how do you not have anchovies for a Caesar’s salad? To make it worse, you put Pomegranate kernels on it?How do you claim to make great martinis without having stuffed olives? For the money, there are better choices in walking distance
We chose Lincoln to try someplace new for restaurant week . We arrived and waited several minutes for anyone to great and seat us. The place had a vaguely disorganized and unprofessional feel. However, our waiter was actually very responsive and the food was surprisingly tasty and even sophisticated. One complaint, the pork chops were very fatty and depending on what entree you wanted, ala carte was a better financial "deal" than restaurant week. Also, at the end of the meal we asked for coffee and were told that they had "run out?"
So in summary, the kitchen generally turns out really good food, but the overall organization and management needs some professionalization.
There for restaurant week. Had to request Restaurant Week Menu. Menu not the same as on web site. So noisy we couldn't hear others at table talking. Left without eating. Went to the very quiet and outstanding Alhambra @ St. Regis.

The ambiance of this restaurant is magical and nostalgic (if you lived in 1862). But the food was blaaand...the waiter said they were paying homage to the flavors of days of Lincoln. The salmon on my plate was smaller than what is served to a cat. For $16 a whole filet should’ve been on my plate. Also, I looked around and almost all the minorities were seated in the same back area. I don’t think that was a coincidence. Not going back.
I ate at Lincoln during restaurant week, on my fiance's birthday. The service was good and my partner got a glass of champagne as a birthday treat as soon as we arrived, nice touch! Prices were decent and I enjoyed my meal (fried cod and cauliflower) but our friends did not love their mushroom dish, said it was not flavorful. I really liked my apple crisp dessert. Overall a good experience.

We went for restaurant week. We had the deviled eggs, chard ceasar salad, fried cod, NY strip, carrot cake, and apple crisp. Everything was flavorful and enjoyable except the apple crisp. We did wish that we had more food. Maybe would have been more enjoyable if we came outside of the restaurant week. The portions were very small. The service was great. Brandy was energetic and ensured we were pleased with our food. She got an extra tip from both of us. I will return to try brunch.
We were there for Restauarant Week. It was packed at lunch--in a good, thriving sort of way--but the noise level was high. The table was roomy, so it was sometimes necessary to lean in to hear my companion across it. The food was delicious. Service was a tad slow, which I wouldn't have minded if I didn't have a time constraint. We took our carrot cake dessert to go.
Great experience but quite noisy
We went during restaurant week. I try to do a friends get together once a month and it was great. Our server had a good sense of humor and was on top of it. Our food and drinks were great. All in all we had a fun time.

I was thrilled to receive specialized attention regarding my gluten free diet (celiac disease). Our server partnered with the chef to ensure I was able to have a lovely meal and even pan fried the brussels sprouts so I could enjoy them with my date. Thank you!
My wife and I found Lincoln through open table. Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated with a lot of different Lincoln artwork. We had devil eggs with butternut squash as an appetizer. Even though they were very tasty, be aware that they were quite small and only 3 halves since it doesn't say so in the menu. My wife ordered the chicken pot pie as her entree. It was very good. Definitely recommend it. I had the roasted amish chicken. It was very good as well. Decent size portion and quite filling, however if you are very very hungry then maybe consider ordering something else. We were very pleased with our first experience and will most likely return.
Great place for brunch or happy hour. This visit was for brunch with friends on new year's day. Great service and food was delicious. They also had a DJ that kept us grooving while we ate. Go check 'em out!
I would only recommend Lincoln to friends who are celebrating a birthday, etc.
My friends and I went to Lincoln after church to catch-up, but found the music too loud. We were seated before the DJ started, so we had no idea there was going to be music playing. We were with two seniors so it made conversations really difficult. To top it off, our waiter wasn't pleasant. He had a scowl on his face the entire time and his heavy accent made it really difficult to understand him over the loud music.
The hostess should either ask guests if they want to be seated in the quieter section or make a better judgment with where to seat guests, especially when the two seniors were the first guests of our table to arrive.
I didn’t appreciate the raucous music blaring over the speaker set up clearly meant to be entertaining. Not from my perspective. Food was fair. Would not return. Frankly shocked by the solid rating.
