We had so much fun! The music on the weekend is fabulous. Food was excellent!!
We had an excellent dining experience at Limoncello South. Our waiter Vincenzo was highly attentive and the food and presentation was top notch. Can’t wait to go back and try more menu entrees.
Wow. Crazy good place. A must visit in NSB!!
Make sure you are aware of prices. One in our party paid $130 for a steak. We went on ladies' night, so my dinner ($35) should have been half price. Waiter charged us full price until we brought it to his attention. All in all, you can eat elsewhere more reasonably and have a better experience. None of our four will return.
Wonderful little place! Decor makes you feel like you’re in Italy. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic, especially the Smokey tomato tapenade that comes with the table bread. We were there on a Saturday night at 9pm and it was quite loud and energetic so may not always be the best option for quiet or romantic dining (though it has the atmosphere for that)
Incredible food, service and atmosphere!!!
Horrible, we had reservations, sat for 35 minutes before we received water, our water girl actually told front of house we still need a waiter even though we were in eye shot of 3 front of house people. Another 20 minutes went by, finally a waiter, another 20 minutes before first round of drinks. Food came out in wrong order, second round of drinks never happened when ordered, then ordered again and it took another 20 minutes.
We had our appetizer, salads and dinner before we ever received second round of drinks. Waiter brought us a cannoli on the house but never apologized, we don’t even like cannolis.
I come from a restaurant family and none of this should have come close to happening. If 3 people are working the hostess stands(included owner) front of house should have chipped in to run drinks or food or checked on neglected tables.
I’m a local and unless bar seating is available - I will no longer keep Limocello as an option for dinner.
We had an amazing night dining outdoors at Limoncello. It is classic Southern Italian cuisine. Good, fresh salads and pasta. The Limoncello Cake and Tiramisu were amazing. Nice wine list and good value on the Italian wines. The best part was the singer/entertainer. First name Mike (can't remember last name). He played a wide range of songs and had us dancing on the sidewalk.
We had an outside table, but, because all the doors were open, it was like being in the restaurant, too. Service was great. Food was excellent. And, trust me on this, you must try the beet cobbler. It is sheer genius. One of the best things I’ve ever tasted. And their fritto misto is right on point.
Excellent authentic Cesar salad. Many large groups the night we dined so food took rather long, but waitress always made sure we were OK and updated on delay. We were in.no hurry, so was fine with us
Overall very good food and if we vacation here again we’ll be sure to return
We have been going here for over a year now, usually with a small group...70% time most of us enjoy our meals. ..but the last few times. 50% of us enjoyed our meals, just hasn't been consistent..lately..
For the money, we are going to have to go elsewhere now..we really enjoyed a few get-togethers there. Sorry..
Not sure if chef has changed 🤔 Hopefully they get it worked out.
We have dined here several times and Friday night was very entertaining and our server Giuseppe was outstanding.
Food is absolutely awesome, wait staff very efficient. The noise level was a little too much for me. We had a drink at the bar and their happy hour is pretty great.
The table was dirty when we sat down including a dirty dish sitting on it. Was a little surprised we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Also, they were out of the ingredients for their top of the lone martini. Food was good. We’ll chalk this up circumstances relating the securing help during the pandemic. We’ll go back.
The food was outstanding. The ingredients were fresh and the food authentic. I went on ladies night (wed-1/2 off) which was a nice surprise. There was live music and he was great and added to an overall great experience. I'm from Charlotte NC and will definitely go again when visiting Daytona FL.
sat evening very busy, noisy staff was really running. the lighting was very dark, had to use cell phone to read menu. requested plain veal cutlet (not on menu) which i have done before with no problem. the non waiter brought the wrong food which waiter had to correct.when my veal arrived it was like a tough steak not a good veal cutlet. waiter offered to change to chicken or fish i declined . the drinks were ok but quite expensive. not the best night out my wifes meal was acceptable but not up to the price
Horrible food. Horrible service. Water damage ceiling. Spider webs in the lights. Italian food that tastes like Chinese. I wouldn’t feed this to my dog.
Great as always
Food was good ! Service not so much ... at one point Arthur and I are server quit we didn’t see him for a long time:(
Best food of our vacation
Ate outside on the front patio. It was a beautiful evening and not yet crowded. The patio is appreciated in COVID times, but the view is mostly of the parking lot and uninteresting. Our server was attentive and helpful. Ordered the black grouper special and the chicken piccata. The grouper dish was delicious. However it was $48...which (shame on me) I didn’t realize until we got the check. I admittedly should have asked the price in advance. I knew it would be pricey...was expecting mid-30s. But holy moly....this is the most I have ever spent on an entree. (Just saw a posting on FB for an equivalent black grouper dish at a high end NSB restaurant for $35. I feel very duped.) The chicken piccata dish was good, but not great.
Overall, we might go back, but will certainly ask the price of any special items not on the menu.
Exceptional service and food. Great wine selection and reasonable prices
Live music, great food, wonderful service
I love the ravioli with pears and Gorgonzola. Portions are ample. Good wine list. Martinis half price on Monday. Nice atmosphere and only restaurant on Open Table in NSB.
Very good service and the food was delicious. My only issue would be the noise level as it was very loud and difficult to hold a conversation with people at my table. If the weather was better and doors and windows had been open, I suspect it would have been better.
Other than that, I would highly recommend it.
We enjoyed our dinner. The waiter was great. The food was excellent as well as the drinks and the wine. The service was excellent. We would definitely come back
Awesome spot for a date night! Beautiful ambiance. We will definitely be back!
Wonderfully light salads
Super tender and juicy lamb pops
We will definitely return and recommend
Nice, pleasant restaurant. Very good food. Very caring service
Excellent service, super friendly, food amazing and really felt like homemade. Drinks a little on the strong side. But was ok.
Menu was eclectic and not strictly Italian. In fact there were few true Italian specialities. Our party ordered the angel hair pomodoro and the gnocchi with vodka sauce and arugula. Both were hot, fresh and very tasty. Our salads- Caesar and the Limoncello - were delicious although the Caesar a bit small. Service was good. Noise was relatively high as the restaurant was busy on a Monday night. We would definitely recommend and go back.
Awful service. Rude host. Disorganized and chaotic. Will never return.
Our meal was outstanding! The staff was attentive and made us feel welcome. They accommodated a group of 20 with no problem. We will definitely return!
Cute place. Good food. Service a bit slow but overall good
Charged us for $60 of food we didn’t order and instead of correcting the bill gave us gift cards to come back. Skip the salad...they are 3 prices of lettuce.
The staff is very friendly. Blaze the bartender makes the best Martinis. Sometimes we go there after eating somewhere else to get one of his dessert martinis. We had the Cesar salad it is good but not the best I have had. They use 5 romaine lettuce leaves with Cesar toppings and anchovies. I like the traditional style of tossed. The best Cesar I had was made at your table. The beef carpaccio is very good. I love lamb chops. My friend and I each got the lamb. The first one was overcooked. The second one was ok. I like mine to be seared on each side. Both of husbands tried the fish Special it was good but not outstanding for the price. These tasted like they were baked or maybe done with a Sous vide. Our server was Tony was great. The owners is very nice and the place is a fun atmosphere. The best is there pasta dishes, for example the lobster ravioli is wonderful. The problem for me is I do not mind spending money on good food. But I felt the food was not equal to the price. I am not a cheapskate. I love food and fine dining.
Arrived 5:15 and seated. Drinks, appetizers, and bread all arrived perfectly. Ordered 2 pasta dishes and 3 specials then waited...and waited... Half of food arrived at 6:40 and other half 10 mins later. Ordered med-well filet mignon special and it came seared and bloody. Sent back to the kitchen. I had them pack it as to-go because everybody else had finished eating by the time it came back. They offered a free dessert in return?? Gave us 2 because we were there celebrating a birthday, good friends, and a new baby. Law of Competition: There are other restaurants in the area. We won't return anytime soon.
