We absolutely love going to Limoncello. The distancing is perfect, the food is exceptional, and we love our frequent waitress Katie!
We also had our first Limoncello bar experience, and our bartender Mary was phenomenal.
Not a showstopper. We have wanted to try Limoncello for sometime but always end up elsewhere. We were disappointed to see there was no valet on a cold, rainy Friday night. Food was good—not outstanding. With all the other amazing choices downtown, this one was not a standout. Ambiance was nice and service was good, but in general, I would say it was just average for downtown Greenville.
Service was really good, but a bit slow.
Food was just ok. Charred Caesar salad was more burnt and bitter, pizza was mostly just crust, and the chicken parm was bland. The food was cooked well, just not worth the $20 plus for an entree or $12 for a Caesar salad.
food, ambiance, service and cocktails - fantastic as always!
Chris was our server and we was attentive and charming. Will definitely be back. The recovery bowl with shrimp was AMAZING!! Outside dining with views perfect for our first date.
Great cocktails. Allergy friendly menu accommodations. Love it
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend.
Everything was perfect but the food. Chicken fettuccine Alfredo was cold. Pizza was over garlicky. Staff was great, drinks were great.
Food was excellent and service was even better. Our server was friendly and attentive. She gave great recommendations. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Greenville.
Nice pre concert dinner. Even hit happy hour. Server was very attentive and friendly
Food is always consistent
We had made a reservation and the only option left online was a high top, but when we arrived the lady asked which did we prefer. We said it really didn’t matter to us, and they led us to the private dining room which was much better than our reservation selection we chose. It was great considering it was valentine’s day. We got to sit beside each other and had a great night. It was very elegant and romantically set. It was worth the price that we paid, and we made sure to leave our waiter (I believe his name was Chris, omg I can’t remember) a nice tip. It was a great experience.
Great. Loved the atmosphere. Service was great. Ate outside in the heated tint and it wasn’t cold! Thankfully.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and Valentine's Day on 2/14/2021, and I'm usually apprehensive about celebrating on the actual day because many restaurant inflate prices, and rush service to turn tables on Valentine's Day. We were both very pleased with the service, ambiance (we were in the wine library), and quality of the food and drinks that we were served. Our waiter, Cristopher R, met our every expectation, and we never felt rushed. It was all offered at a reasonable price.
If everything were normal it would have been an overall 4-5 star experience. However, things aren't normal right now. Greenville is a Covid hot spot right now and the tables were not appropriately distanced (There was another customer less than two feet away from me the entire time I was eating). If I wasn't concerned about Covid-safety then it would have been an amazing experience, but I am, so it scores lower. Everything else was amazing though.
Relaxed setting, enjoyed the service and food, we'll be eating here again.
very good food and service was great. Desserts were huge and good.
All our meals were great- lobster mac and cheese, salmon and spaghetti and meat balls.
Great food and wonderful service from the waiter. I was disappointed that I booked a Valentine’s Day dinner 4 weeks in advanced to be seated at a 4 person table near the restroom. No table cloths, flowers or any effort put into the place setting. Staff were wearing red T-shirts. I just simply would have liked to had a nice dinner with tablecloths and effort put into the evening to make it special. I guess if you book it 5 weeks in advanced versus 4 you won’t get placed in the restroom.
The pizza is delicious, lots of cheese and a tasty thin crust.
We enjoy sitting at the bar when it's just the two us, and Limoncello did not disappoint! Mary and Katie manning the bar did an awesome job. They were very attentive and the food came quickly. Overall a wonderful experience!
Great service and excellent food.
Great food, interesting menu in all items including wine list. Portions were very generous, and nice presentation. Everything was delicious, and the service was attentive.
Very nice Tuscany atmosphere, and beautiful garden location in downtown Greenville. Highly recommend for dinner plus leftovers!
Excellent customer service. Waitress was wonder and friendly. Food was very good. Pizza was tasty and pasta was very authentic.
The pasta dish was overpriced. The tomatoes were bland and too much garlic in the dish.
Eggplant was good, sauce flavor was good, but paired with ricotta cheese made the dish mushy.
I took a friend who is new to town to Limoncello tonight. Girls night. Her first time there, but I had been several times before. The waitress, Katie, was amazing. We both ordered the Chicken Marsala, mine being gluten free. (I had the same dish in December and raved about how good it was.) My friends pasta was overcooked and in pool of what looked like water, bland chicken and watery sauce. My chicken came and looked like it had been boiled, no mushrooms or any sauce on top of the chicken, same watery sauce with the pasta. My pasta was breaking apart.
The waitress offered us gelato on the house. She had to ask the manager if she could comp a tiramisu. We both paid about $40 for a meal that we couldn’t eat and the manager never came to the table to see what was going on.
Not a good first impression for my friend who does digital marketing and is promoting a food & lifestyle account in Greenville.
The food was OK but it was extremely expensive. The service was wonderful but for three people, drinking water, before tip, the meal was $75. Not to mention it was lunch on Sunday. There was no complementary appetizer like bread that you would typically expect in an Italian restaurant. The food was generally OK but I definitely didn’t think that it was worth the cost. Beautiful restaurant. Wonderful service. But if they’re going to charge that much for their food, they really need to up their flavor game and offer a little more for your money.
Had a great lunch! Service was great snd the food also!
It was our daughters and her besties 11th birthday, so we celebrated by staying in a hotel downtown with the girls and eating here. Our server, Paula, was amazing and as always the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon. Thank you!
Delicious food, great service and nice ambiance. Would visit again.
Food was very well presented, hot and tasty. Service was attentive but not overly so. Would definitely return and recommend this restaurant to friends.
We've only been twice when visiting on Greenville on vacation, but we've enjoyed the servers Kennedy and Kailyn the most as they made our evening special. We are able to engage in a conversation and even get personal with them, as well as received good food recommendations and excellent service. The ambience comes next as we have been able to seat both outside in the warm weather and the inside in the cooler weather. The cable lights and Tuscany-like atmosphere is wonderful, complete with a cozy outdoor fireplace and chairs. The food is good too with some interesting twists such as Garlic Not-Knots which are baked pizza dough dollops with alfredo and marinara dipping sauces.
Awesome waitress So sweet great food. Nice restaurant
Overall quite pleased! The food was good. The wine was good. It was all good!
The staff made our anniversary very memorable, helping me to secure the table of choice (it carries sentimental value), and bringing us a signed card and complimentary drinks! They were so sweet! We will definitely be back.
Food was wonderful. The hostess could use a sense of humor but our waitress made up for it! We had an amazing waitress!
Great experience thus the ratings. Felt very comfortable with the Covid protocols being followed.
The food is delicious, great bar offerings, and excellent service. Dined leisurely with friends and we were not rushed. Lovely dining experience!
Dinner was excellent along with the service. Will definitely be back.
A gem in Greenville. Everything tasted wonderful! The service was great and it was a nice relaxing evening.
