Good atmosphere great service. Food was probably a B+. But we are fine dining snobs
Wonderful, approachable, comfort food. We will certainly be back!
This restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. Our family was celebrating our patriarchs birthday. The server, Olivia, was prompt and friendly, and waited on us quickly. The grilled romaine Caesar salad was divine , and made even a picky 11 year old happy. Every dish was fresh and well balanced in flavor. The Limoncello is house made and so delicious. The dessert selection was varied and fantastic- the table of six managed to down 3 desserts in 2:32, even after a really filling meal.
Thank you for the memories, Limoncello! We will be back!
Great food. Understaffing made service less than it used to be there. We will return.
Limoncello is my favorite restraint in Greenville. Great atmosphere, Great food, great service and great deserts. They have an excellent bar if you just want to have a drink. Great job Limincello!!
The food is fantastic which is the most important part but the service is just okay. I had to get my own bread plate, pour the water for my entire family and we had dirty glassware.
Clean up service and this is 5 star restaurant.
I absolutely love this place.. food, atmosphere and the drinks are all awesome
Service and food were unbelievable. Food portions, quality and value was off the charts. I would highly recommend. This restaurant is a must on your visit to downtown Greenville SC!
Food was excellent! Our server was the best. I want her every time we come. Overall, great experience!
The host made us sit in a table by the entry door though we had a reservation. The chairs were dirty. I ordered osso bucco at 7pm but that was not available. I ordered bisteca steak medium-well instead and it came burnt out. My wife ordered the usual salmon picata but the portion was significantly smaller than our previous visits. Overall, a terrible experience on a Saturday night! Hope they could fix these issues.
Been there three or four times. Each time it has been delightful and the wait service excellent
We go out rarely so we look for unique and quality food along with upscale service. The food here was advertised very specifically and sounded very interesting. I ordered a dish which the waitress described as having grilled vegetables in a tomato base sauce. It ended up having a can of spinach and a can of mushrooms dumped on the noodles with some tomato sauce. No grilled vegetables! My wife and my cousin had the same poor quality also. The dishes needed seasoning. The bill was $88. When I talked to the general manager, he said that I should have brought it up earlier. He only would discount the bill $10 but I had to ask if he would.
Very poor quality of food. Very poor management. I will not go back and I encourage you to save your money. You could do much better at Olive Garden 3 times for the money I spent!
The noise level was high because we were there at peak hour - 7 pm on a Saturday night. By the time we left around 830, the bulk of the crowd, as well as the noise, had diminished substantially. None of this took away from the food and the atmosphere. As with every meal we've had there, this was very good. We'll be back.
The service and food were excellent. It was noisy because there was a large party seated next to us, but otherwise everything was great.
We had a lovely foursome dinner. Our server was phenomenal. The food was delicious. Cocktails were tasty and creative. Still thinking about my trout and the focaccia! Will return!
Great experience. Wonderful food. Good wine. Excellent service. Will come back.
This is the second time we have been to Limoncello and we have had a great experience each time. The food is always freshly prepared and hot when it comes to the table which is always a big plus for me. Along with great service we will be back.
Great mussels and clams appetizer!
Great valet parking, great server, awesome ambience and food!!
Although my husband enjoyed the Chicken Marsala, I didn’t exactly enjoy my choice of spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce was very bitter, but the meatballs we’re hearty and made up for the bitterness in the sauce. The atmosphere was ideal for the occasion, we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. Overall, I would recommend Limoncello.
This is one of our favorite places to go on date night. Was not the best experience but then again they set the bar very high.
Wonderful food and service! I will definitely be back!
Clams Casino were exceptional. Love the new menu items. Always a favorite when in Greenville.
The food was excellent, with the exception of the tomato sauce. The tomato sauce was bland and for such fine dinning, I would have expected the sauce to be more interesting. The rest of our meal was outstanding and looking forward to going back. As for the cost, we felt it was very very good value for the money. The service was by far better than most. A very nice evening for us both.
Very ordinary and overpriced, the pasta is ok but not great, expensive for what it is. Service was fine but there was a group at the bar which made it impossible to talk. Very loud space.
What a wonderful restaurant. Beautiful setting, delicious food and wonderful service. We sat in a corner table overlooking the street/park. It was such a romantic evening for my husband and I. I would highly recommend Limoncello as a fine Italian establishment. All the details from tablecloths, soft music and decor added to this most special evening. Thank you so much. We will be back again!!
Everyone loved it best meal while there for 4 days
My rating for this restaurant is all about value. For the price I expected more in just about every aspect, with the exception being service. Our waiter, Isaiah, was awesome.
The food was passable fair, but nothing to get excited about. I had the “Pulled Duck Confit” which I can only suspect was not really confit at all. In the very least it tasted as if it was slow roasted and then pulled to mimic barbecue. Honestly, this was an error on my part, the dish did not make a ton of sense as I read it, but curiosity got the better of me. The real star of the night was the focaccia served with the meal, but the bread should never be the star when a meal for two is going to be upwards of $100. Dessert was delicious. The tirimisu and cannoli were unctuous and inviting. Again, in a lower price bracket, Limoncello would have warranted more stars.
Delicious as always
Lovely experience with wonderful food! And very helpful with my gluten free diet!
Fabulous food! Can’t believe I haven’t tried this restaurant before now - definitely recommend!!
Wonderful food and staff
This place was great! It was a beautiful setting and delicious food. I highly recommend.
Everything was tremendous definitely will be back next time in the area. The service was great
Our server was so nice and the food was delicious! Great place for a romantic date :)
Everything was great. 10/10 will be back soon. The only thing I would change is that the waiters and waitresses seemed to be hanging out about 10 feet from our table and it was kind of loud.
We made reservations for Friday after Valentines Day, looking to try Limoncello for the first time. Overall, the place has a nice atmosphere but got loud at times as we were sitting in the front room near the bar. If you’re going to visit here, request one of the side or back rooms for a more intimate feel. The frustrating part of our experience came when it was time to order our entrees. The server took our order only to return two separate times stating they were out of the entrees we ordered (duck, veal, and lobster dishes). Although this was the day after Valentine’s, it was still a Friday night so the increase in customer traffic, this issue should not have happened. Since our reservation was at 7pm, it was getting late in the evening at this point so we decided to stick it out instead of going somewhere else. Once we received our entrees, the food was great (although it’s not what we originally wanted). We may return to give them another shot but it certainly won’t be around any busy time to avoid this issue again.
Food good but not great
The ambiance was nice. Was able to sit in back room which kept the noise level down. The bread type was not what we were expecting, very spongy and damp. My sweetheart had ordered flowers for me for the table and he had to ask them to bring to the table. Should have already been there before being seated. The cocktails were good and on point. The fettuccine Alfredo was quite dry. No sauce. The roasted olives were nice. The lobster pizza was ok. Some changes need to happen before we think about coming back here.
