Great service, great drinks and delicious food! What more could you ask for!
The food is amazing. We were there at 7:00 on a Friday night and it was extremely load
We always enjoy the paella and roasted chicken. Just delicious!
WAY too loud to enjoy my meal. Doubt I'll go back.
Between the four of us we had 4 cocktails, 1 diet coke, 4 orders of empanadas (appetizers), 2 sauteed string bean side dishes, 1 order regular fries, 1 chicken entre, 1 fish entre, two entre beet and potatot salads, and 1 seafood rice dish. The food is quite good for the price. The empanadas vary some, with the beef having the most flavor and the cheese ones being very mild. Two empanadas per order. One order per person is a decent appetizer. the main dishes (salads and other dishes) were all well prepared and portion-generous. The cocktails are not short on alcohol and well prepared. Service was a bit understaff but still managed to serve us very efficiently and pleasantly. We would give this restaurant five stars based on quality/portion/price combination but for one big problem: noise. None of us could hear across our small table, so dinning was the sound. Please- put up some fabric to absorb some of the sound. Can still have a good profitable buzz without making it necessary to should at 80 db. Price for the meal with 18% tip was $235. Good for a group of five in Walnut Creek.
Definitely a go-backer. Only slightly negative is the noise level.
Brought my mother here for her 70th birthday and wow was it good. We dined on the empanadas and I had an amazing rib eye that was marinated and so perfectly cooked I can't wait to have it again. The amount of care they took to make sure we were ok was another fantastic part of our visit, the staff checked in on us as often as they could and mad sure my mother was ok our whole time dining. Can't wait to return and bring friends.
Good service, delicious food!! 😋 ......................................................!
I really wanted to like this restaurant after reading the reviews. I travel to Peru a few years ago and had the opportunity to eat the wonderful food. This restaurant unfortunately fell short of my expectations. The server was very nice, but in the end she could not make up for the food. we had the braised short ribs and the triple ceviche-both of which were only OK.
The beet salad was very bland. Needed more spice/salt. Didn’t pair very good with the potatoes. The lomo saltado was a bit too salty and the gravy sauce is not authentic to Peruvian lomo. My husband is half Peruvian. Overall the service is always 100%. Staff is friendly and fast service.
Food was very flavorful and servings were very generous. Would definitely come again as there are quite a few items on the menu I want to try.
Service was meh
Music was loud for midday Sunday meal
Great food and service, that place is so nice the price is really great, definitely I do recommend!!!
This place is great! The food and drinks are delicious and the service is great as well. Would totally come back again.
The restaurant was crowded, but it was a Saturday night in Walnut Creek, so what else is new? We arrived promptly for our 6:15 reservation. Our table wasn't ready but we waited at the bar, where staff was attentive and the drinks (Smoky Limon and Mosquito) were delicious. Around $14 each. About 6:25 we were seated and ordered. Food was great - my Lomo Saltado beef was fork tender, and lots of great fresh flavor. Overall service was good. Value is fantastic for the quality. Great place for a date before a night at the Lesher or out on the town.
Have now visited multiple times. Great consistency over all of them; the food and the service. This is a great example for the restaurant business; that quality food and service can be delivered for good value. Very few are able to execute on this. Limon stands above.
Service was good. Pisco Sour excellent, but noise level way too much for an otherwise enjoyable evening.
Always awesome and the staff is always in the best mood !
I made a reservation and when we arrived, the hostesses were having a conversation and ignored me for a couple of minutes. Despite of having a reservation, we had to wait for 10-15 minutes for a table. We were seated at a table that had sun shining on it and when I mentioned it to the hostess, she said “what?” and walked away and made a comment about it to the other hostess. I thought that was extremely rude. Service was really bad, I wanted to order a second cocktail and waitress didn’t check back with us after food was delivered. I had to wave at her to get her attention as we were done with a whole bunch of empty plates stacked on out table and ready to leave. Food was excellent as always, just the staff was rude and service was bad
Everything was rushed but had to wait almost 50 mi hues with a reservation..
Very very noisy
Chicken was like chicken from lucky
Would never go back
Great eats and service!!!!
Love this place, whether it’s for a date or a family night out.
Food was great but it was very noisy and hard to hold a conversation.
Food good as always. Noise level high and service slow.
The service and attitude was terrible as we had ordered dessert and which came with vanilla ice cream. They brought it with chocolate ice cream. When asked why, the waitress said that she needed to check and came back by saying that they ran out of vanilla ice cream and instead of asking us whether we wanted the dessert or not, they just brought it. Also we asked for some extra spicy sauce and they said that it we $2 additional for extra sauce. I have eaten at the other Limon location before and the food quality, service was top notch. I would not recommend this location.
This was my first time and I will definitely be going back. The service was great. The food was delicious. We shared a whole chicken with rice and beans sides. We started with ceviche. The margarita I ordered was great.
Quick service and above average food-the chicken was tasty; however, I was disappointed with the portion size of the yucca fries. Also, the Agua Fresca was extremely overpriced given the size.
I would recommend Limon Rotisserie but keep in mind it's VERY noisy!...cement floors, metal chairs and very high ceilings make it NOISY...go for the food for sure, but if you want to have quiet dinner conversation, this is not the place. I think I may try sitting outside on their front patio next time. much more quiet.
Always a sure thing at this restaurant, amazing chicken, flavors in green beans over the top, serivce impeccable, fun environment.
Great food’ wonderful experience.
4 of us were there for a birthday lunch on a Sunday. It was a bit crowded, and the service staff a bit scattered. 2 of the 4 dishes arrived later than the others. But we loved the food!
I don't feel that the food represents Peruvian food very much. The portions were large, supposed to be shared. Drinks are good and generous, and the service was very friendly.
I love the food and all of the drinks also I love the location of the restaurant.
Our go to, sit down, and take out favorite in Walnut Creek. Check it out and enjoy - Whole Chicken and green beans are a must, everything else very good. Always a good experience.
Great Mother’s Day lunch.
Arrived at 7:10 for a 7:15 Saturday night reservation. Place was a madhouse and there were no table available. Got seated at ten minutes to eight. Their model is good reasonably priced food and they try to pack as many people in with high turnover. If you are thinking of going to have a nice relaxing experience...just forget it.
The staff here were very friendly and helpful. We had to wait a few minutes for a table and were able to get a great seat outside. The servers and kitchen staff were fast and everything we ordered came out in a timely manner.
We had the ceviche trio, chicharron and an order each of the beef and queso empanadas - everything was delicious! The sangria here is really tasty as well and definitely worth ordering.
My son and I enjoyed a delicious meal starting with Happy Hour items. I recommend the tuna and the ceviche with taro chips. It was fresh and tart and the chips were crispy. The tuna was delicious as well. We also recommend the pulpa which was grilled to perfection atop creamy mashed potatoes. The paella was good, however, did not have the crispy rice I look forward to in paella. Overall a really good meal. It was a bit loud so I am happy were seated upstairs where the noise level was better.
Great food, weird vibration from seat
