Hard to rate cause I can still taste the food we had in Lima which was so good . . .
Food was great!!
Birthday and going away!! It was sooo delicious and amazing!
Chicken has good taste, not salty, meat tender. They have discontinued the green beans as a side so we were a lil disappointed since we love how it was cooked. Highly recommend Limon restaurant for their food especially the spit roasted chicken.
Everything was great! Great service, great food!
Emily was sweet. Experience was okay, felt rushed towards the end. They don’t do anything for birthday’s, as noted we were celebrating my mom’s birthday.
The roast chick
Made reservations did not get seating of choice and took a while for server to come take our order
Delicious Delicious Delicious!!! Authentic Peruvian Cuisine and the Piscos are damn Good!!! I would eat here every day! Lively atmosphere too.
Got our order wrong!
Did not have steak!!!
All the food except the paella was incredibly salty
Very loud place
The service was excellent!! Food was great!! Will definately be going again.
I felt that it was overpriced for the quality of the food. The service was mediocre. We had to look for our server several times. They weren’t attentive at all. Never refilled our water.
Peruvian inspired food that was very fresh and flavorful.
Rotisserie chicken And the pork belly was really good!
The Mac n cheese was not our favorite.
They didn’t have a kids menu:(
Thank you for dining with us and for taking the time to share your experience/thoughts with us! I will pass your feedback regarding kids meals to our kitchen team - and do hope to have the opportunity to serve you again soon!
Salt, salty, and saltier.
Almost inedible due to the amount of salt in everything.
Couldn’t appreciate the taste.
Interesting menu that sounded great, but disappointing.
Also, I’d stay away from the pisco sours and order a beer.
Tonight’s chicken was absolutely amazing. It was the tastiest, juiciest we’ve ever had! More locals need to give this restaurant a try. They don’t know what they are missing! The quality and flavor of the food is impeccable!
Thank you for dining with us and for your kind words!
First time there. Good food. Server, Michelle explained items on the menu and provided recommendations on food and drinks. We will be back.
Jenny, Thank you for dining with us and for sharing your experience with us! We're thrilled to hear Michelle offered great customer service!
We love the food, the servers, especially their bartender, Rachel! Rachel works very hard, she’s efficient and makes everyone feel very special.
She does her job to perfection! One thing, they need to cook the chicken on the Fiesta Plate a little less than the current way they are cooking it.
Thank you for dining with us and for sharing your experience with us! I'm thrilled to hear Rachel offered such great customer service! We hope to serve you again soon!
Best ceviche in a long time. Big chunks of fish and octopus. Really flavorful chicken empanada. Servers were very attentive and friendly.
Thank you for dining with us and for taking the time to share your experience with us!
We came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. Our server, Alex, was great! Very nice, able to answer all our questions about the menu, and gave us recommendations on what to try.
We ordered the ceviche sampler with taro chips and the quarter rotisserie chicken with the chifa green beans and truffle mac and cheese (per Alex's suggestion on sides). It was all so delicious! I was absolutely floored with the rotisserie chicken though, lots of flavor and very moist.
For dessert, I always order creme brulee if it's on the menu (regardless of where I go), but they were all out that night. Alex had recommended we try the tres leche, which was really yummy.
I admit I was a bit skeptical because new restaurants always get hyped up here in the islands only to not live up to expectations. But Limon Rotisserie not only lived up to the hype, they exceeded my expectations! Everything from the food to the service was awesome. We will definitely be back!
We are glad you enjoyed your experience at Limon, and it will be our pleasure to serve you again. I will make sure to pass your comments to Alex. Mahalo!
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend even if no Inca Cola on the menu and if your steak is sizzling a lot it might set off a fire alarm. When the fire alarm went off the food was so good no one moved just kept eating
It was a good thing the fire alarm was triggered by smoke and no one was in danger, so glad you enjoyed your food. Mahalo!
Good for family as well. Love the outside table. Service were nice. I liked the Mac&Cheese.
We've been here several times and I've not had a bad meal yet. The empanadas are an excellent starter. The rotisserie chicken is tender and juicy. Everything is very flavorful!
Thanks for choosing Limon Rotisserie, Kapolei, always a pleasure to serve you, Mahalo!
Went during happy hour.
Ordered Polli-Papas (more fries than chicken, but chicken crispy and flavorful), empanadas (it was just okay), and Jalea (light and crispy—and well seasoned). Enjoyed the food and especially the margaritas!
Service attentive and friendly. Will comeback again.
We are glad you enjoyed our Happy Hour selection. Remember Margarita Tuesday offers margaritas for only $10!! See you soon!
Awesome place as usual! We love this restaurant as well as the other two in San Francisco’s
Muchas gracias! Happy to hear that you have experienced dinning with us in more than one location.... Mahalo!
My wife and I were anxious to try Peruvian food. While the flavors of the entrees' was very good, for the two that we chose as "signature plates" a lot was lacking. The first dish was a "surf & turf". It lacked much substance. No more than 3 shrimp paired with 3 small strips of beef on top of French fries and accompanied by white rice. Heavy on the carbs but not much else.
For me, I had Jambalaya, a 10 inch bowl of Saffron rice with only 3 shrimp, 3 mussels, 2 clams, a small piece of white fish and a smattering of squid. The fish got lost in the rice. The flavors were adequate but both entrees' too expensive for what was received.
The service was adequate and the alcoholic beverages, while overpriced were well made. What I also noticed was how fast the meals were presented after order being placed, which leads me to believe everything was pre-cooked and only needed to be assembled and plated.
I guess my complaint rests with the person plating the dish, Take it easy on the cheap carbohydrate filler and plate the good stuff! I don't plan on returning.
Thank you for the feed back. We will take your comments into consideration. Please give us a call and let us make your next visit more pleasant.
It is our favorite place to eat. The food is delicious, the drinks are great and the staff is terrific. We love Peruvian food and we are happy Limon is in our neighborhood
Mahalo for choosing Limon Rotisserie for your dining experience!
Loved the fiesta sampler as well as the pork chop! Can't go wrong with the rib eye too!
Everything on the menu looked amazing. Ordered the Pork Belly Plate with a side of arroz. My husband ordered the macaroni and cheese, French fries and a pitcher of sangria. It would have been perfect if our server stopped by from time to time to check on us. Hopefully they’ll be more at tentative on our next visit.
The food was absolute perfection. Loved every bite! It’s just so LOUD inside. No noise buffering at all.
Still, I’ll be back. Those pollo empanadas are everything.
We are from the Bay Area and visited Limon Rotisserie for the first time on Oahu. It was delicious. Kiddos were gaga over the mac-n-cheeze and fries, and we even managed to sneak in some chicken! The sauces we tasted were incredible and they should consider bottling them. Now that we are back home, we'll be making it a point to visit the Bay Area location and come back to the Oahu location when were back on island time.
The service was fast and enjoyable. The food was delicious!
Good casual dining. Has actually been improving! Food is flavorful and cocktails are great. Only problem is the restaurant is exceptionally loud.
Had dinner with another couple food was great. A little loud in the dining room. Bring back the salsa dancing !!!!
We've been steady customers since the opening. Very happy with the service, selection, and quality of the food.
A member of our party is gluten-intolerant. Patti and Claudia were wonderful at explaining gluten-free choices. They made it possible for our friend to have what she wanted to order gluten-free! That was above and beyond! Staff is super friendly, professional and treated us all so well. Food and cocktails were delicious! We're coming back!
This was my third time at this restaurant and I have to say that I have not had anything that I thought was really good enough to go back for. This last time we had the two chicken dishes on small plates and the beet salad. The deed fried chicken was dry and chewy (which I think it might supposed to be) but the tine thimble of sauce was delicious. The other chicken came on a bed of fries (mostly fries, little chicken) and again the sauce was amazing. The beet salad was a potato salad with maybe one beet sliced up among them a few string beans and fresh peas. We picked out the all the veggies around the potatoes. In the end we left two piles of potatoes/fries. Because this is a chain, I don't think they can adapt their recipes to fit the population and unlike a place like Cheesecake Factory, the menu is not big enough to find what you might really want or need. My prediction is this place will not last much longer. More than two thirds of the restaurant was empty but there were lines waiting a adjacent restaurants.
Javier is an awesome server. Very personable, efficient and friendly. Meal was exceptional and but only suggestion would be to NOT mention that the food is mostly made in house while it is true, when you do find the thing that is not house made, it is obvious. The tres leches cake was super dissapointing as a piece of sara lee poundcake cut direct from the mold and put into a pool of caramel sauce and some half and half.
Our server was the best. We stay there for like 3 to 4 hrs. He did a amazing job. I forget his name but he did wonderful.
Delicious food 👍🏽
