   Service here was outstanding and the vibe is very similar to other great places in the area like Semillion and Acre. But the value here is terrible. Everything we had was good, but portions left you wanting more. Shareables were very very small (Tomatoes, Asparagus, Potato dishes). Prices were very expensive for what you get. The menu was also fairly limited. While I enjoyed the ambience and service the food and value for what you get will keep me away. Too many other great options around.

   We’ve been to this jewel of a restaurant once before in February. We brought close friends to celebrate my birthday the other day. Just like our last visit, the space is incredible and out of a movie set. The service is warm and welcoming. Drinks were interesting and good. The appetizers and mains were fantastic as the food is super interesting, great flavors, and presented beautifully. Unfortunately, the deserts were a disaster. There are three on the menu: banana soufflé, lava chocolate cake, and bone marrow ice cream. We ordered the soufflé and chocolate. It took forever to get the deserts (20-30min) and the soufflé was burned. I mean a black charred top. I can’t believe they didn’t notice, didn’t apologize or take it off the bill. (We didn’t say anything as it took so long we were ready to leave) Additionally the chocolate was burned (not as badly) but slightly charred and tasted burned. They brought the bone marrow ice cream as a birthday gift (which was very nice) but was really unappetizing. I’ll definitely return but we left with a bad taste in my mouth…both figuratively and literally.

   If you have an opportunity to visit LIMO, I strongly recommend it! The whole setting is delightful. Get there early and stroll the grounds. Sets you into the right mind for dinner. Started off with some wine and a cocktail upon arrival … nicely done. The leak root appetizer was creative and well balanced. The Smokey jack fish appetizer was best without the bit too sweet puree. The main courses in f pork and steak were perfectly cooked and plated. The green mango sorbet was a great finisher. The entire staff from the hostess, to the bartender, the waiter and his assistants all did an amazing job to help you feel welcomed. They all were very professional. If had to pick on a negative it would be .. limited beer choices (Pacifico, modelo, Corona) … could look to highlight some of the up and coming local beer .. Baja, Sierra de la Laguna and maybe Hercules. I would suggest they look to inform customers of what the market rate per oz is on their steaks. Upon our return to San Jose de la Cabo we will return!    Grounds and kitchen area were very quiet and comfortable. There are two sides to this open theme restaurant. The one side is more bbq while the other is what you would expect the farm to table experience. My wife had octopus and I had the pork belly.

   Amazing and delicious food. The Pan de Brasa with the side of beet crème was to die for. All organic and vegetarian dishes were extremely delicious. The service was impeccable. Rodriguez, Javier, and Max were excellent servers and super attentive.
