Lime Leaf Thai Fusion and Drinks represents a new food and beverage concept. Lime leaves have been used as a main ingredient for Thai foods over centuries. From a spicy and sour Tom Yum to a creamy Panang curry to a savory Tod Mun, the lime leaf represents herbal flavor. The green color of lime leaves also represent the "freshness". This is the reason we chose "Lime Leaf" as our business name.

Our mission is to bring that flavor to Chicago. The exotic ingredients in our food and the fanciful presentation of our drinks will combine with a local dedication to quality and customer service to create a new restaurant that will be a hub for the community.

Hardly any crab with breaded crab dish, no Tapioca beads for thai coffee, server was slow and not very attentive.

I didn’t realize they’re BYOB until we got there. There are no close liquor stores, just a 7-11 with a very bad beer selection.

The food was ok, but just ok.

Everything we had was very tasty. Note they only serve beer and wine. Very attentive service. Will be back.

Our waitress was so nice. Best service we ever received from a restaurant. No joke. Food was excellent, fresh as can be. Our new favorite Thai spot.

Booked this place on a whim before the symphony on my recent trip to Chicago. The location is just a few blocks from Chicago's symphony hall within easy walking distance. We were early (5:30 pm) and the place was deserted. I hope it was because we were so early. The food was absolutely great, as was the staff. We ordered way more than we needed (for 2) just so we could taste stuff, and there wasn’t a bad dish among them. I was particularly impressed with the gyoza and the corn salad, and highly recommend both. It was tucked into the DePaul University building, so I hope it gets a lot of patronage during the day. It would be a shame for them to have to close due to lack of business. My only disappointment was they had no beer or wine, just tea.

Food was delicious and service was very attentive. My husband and I dined here before seeing a show at the CBIC Theatre and both thought it was a great value!

This was the BEST MEAL I’ve had this year. I travel all over the country and eat at some amazing restaurants. Leaving only great reviews of my experiences (or not great experiences: which are few)
This place has been open in Chicago since October 2018 and why have I not been here yet? I love Thai fusion and this is one of my favorites!!
I highly recommend (if you like hot) The Papaya Salad, Panang Chicken Curry and the Fried Roti for desert!! So since I eat out often I hardly eat the whole meal. I alway leave food on my plate no matter where I go. However the portion sizes were fair for the price and NO food was left at this dining experience. I think of this place when I travel and hope to find something close and I haven’t yet! So it makes me want to go back when I’m home for lunch or dinner. The menu was huge with many delicious options that I must try so eating there several times a month is going to be no problem!
Highly recommend going to this place!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We found lime leaf on open table when we were visiting Chicago. Really fancied Thai food for lunch and it was close by.
It was a Saturday lunch and the place was pretty empty so lacked atmosphere!
However the absolutely AMAZING food made up for that...think probably the best Thai food I’ve ever had!
The service was fantastic they couldn’t have done more.
I would highly recommend lime leaf 😊

Not at all Thai. The tempura is heavily battered scraps of food.

Affordable good Thai food, the restaurant is not very fancy, my friend said it reminded him of a cafeteria. That being said, the food was quality and so was the seasoning of the food. Friday night it was very quiet, maybe two other tables. I am guessing this is more of a work day lunch place, but it should't be. Again good quality food, only thing I was thrilled with were the dumplings, they were a bit greasy. Panang curry was tasty and a little bit of heat but not too much. Lots of veggies in all the dishes, on friend had one of the specials, it was another curry large portion and good taste. It's a great alternative to some of the over priced places on Michigan Avenue. Definitely worth trying if your in the neighborhood.

Went there on a snowy night in January, and despite the crazy weather, the service was very attentive. Great place for basic Thai Food at a good price. Each of us really liked our meals which came with generous portion sizes (definitely enough for leftovers). Would have been better if they served alcohol, but their fruity hot tea hit the spot.
