   Limani NEVER disappoints. Definitely our favorite restaurant in Charlotte among all the choices we have here…and we have had most. It’s pricey for sure but well worth it. The food and service are awesome. We celebrated my hubby’s birthday last night and the finally made room for dessert. OMG! Just as delicious with beautiful presentation as our meal.

   Lamb chops were not of quality that we are used to at Greek/Mediterranean restaurants. Not very juicy, tender or moist; flavor just okay. Broccoli rabe was very bitter. Red snapper for two was okay also, not great. Oysters were good, Mezze plate was good. Service was kind of spotty.

   I’d feel I lot differently if this place wasn’t so overpriced. $84-$88 fish for two is obscene for fish like snapper and Black Sea bass. $18-20 salads. They must have a great food cost! Service also not matching the price tag either. If I pay out the nose for fish for two presented tableside I don’t want the server to ask me if they want us to plate it, or should they? Ice cold hummus at a Mediterranean restaurant is all you need to know. But this is Charlotte so most people don’t know better.

   Service was absolutely horrible. Took forever to get our drinks. Then apps came out before the drinks, the food was brought out so fast that it almost seemed like it was just sitting there waiting for someone to order it. Waitresses were unpleasant.

   We were seated for 45 minutes without being helped, the service was like that the whole evening. The food itself was average at best. Really sad because we heard such good things about this restaurant. It was a beautiful place but not worth the price given the experience we had.

    Servers paid attention when we first arrived but after our meals arrived they rarely came by. But they were pleasant accommodating.

    I honestly thought by giving this restaurant a while to work it’s kinks and service issues out but unfortunately it was a let down. Tonight I had the pleasure of hosting a colleague whom travels and dines in some of the best restaurants around the world. For both of us we love Esterio Milo’s and we were hoping this would come close. Unfortunately I was left embarrassed after bringing our guest here. The service was painful we had to ask multiple times for items as simple as a drink of water, to have empty plates cleared and for our check. For a two course meal and wine we were at the table 2.48 minutes from seating to check arriving.

    I would definitely eat there again …Beautiful restaurant and great food …The service was a-little spotty , with that being said the GM jumped in and assisted in all aspects with running food , taking orders etc ….

    We had a wonderful meal at Limani last night. Food was outstanding. We had the zucchini and eggplant chips that were fantastic. The tuna with Egyptian spice crust was exceptional. We shared two desserts and both were really well done. The pavlova was exceptional and not many places carry that. The pistachio baklava with mousse was delicious. I think the pricing is high, but I would go back for special occasion. The food was exquisite.

    The food was fantastic. Service left much to be desired. Our table wasn’t ready for our reservation time, no big deal, but then when they did seat us (after I asked if another table was available), our server never came back. She told us we were getting bread, we had to ask about it twice. I had to ask the food runner for another drink, and flag down another server at the end of our meal for water refills for the table. Nobody came to check on our meals/experience/offered refills throughout our time. The space is beautiful though.

    We ordered appetizers, salad and dinner all at one time to help the wait staff. It was a busy night. Salads came first and then about 5-7 min later the appetizers came. We sent them back... Our guest ordered lobster. When he began to eat it, it had an ammonia taste. We sent it back. The restaurant did take off the apps and the lobster. I was disappointed that no manager came to apologize. We spent a lot of money last night. Limani is a beautiful restaurant. The food is normally really good. Staff is very nice.. it seems they are over loaded. I do wish Limani would get some medium priced wines on their wine list. Thank you.

    We were excited to have reservations at this Greek restaurant and were generally happy with some exceptions. First, the restaurant is beautiful with an awe-inspiring bar and very friendly staff. The hummus and saganaki were both fresh and excellent. Small disappointment: as opposed to traditional, the saganaki was not "fired up" tableside, so don't expect that. I ordered a martini and was asked if I wanted feta olives in it. Of course, but then I was upcharged for them. We ordered the salmon entree and for $34, received a decent sized salmon filet but barely any vegetables on the side (one cauliflower, one broccoli and one carrot). They offer side items for a cost. We would probably go back and order some appetizers, enjoy the bar and then eat dinner somewhere else.

    Had a 7:30 reservation. Did not get seated until 7:58. They were rude to me when I asked for an update on why we were not getting seated. There was like 10 tables open and so eventually she said “we’ve decided to open the other room.” Well they could have done 30 minutes earlier. Other than that, the food really was just average. Far better luxury seafood restaurants in Charlotte than this one. For the price, which was over $100 per person, this was not a good experience.

    We had a great experience until the check came. Our server replaced the $40 bottle of Rose we asked for w a $125 bottle of Rose wo asking us if that was ok. When I balked at paying for the more expensive bottle, he tried to hand us $40. Which we would not accept. He claimed that the protests in Paris were causing a rose shortage in CLT. It was bizarre. Eventually, the manager gave us a gift certificate for $85.

    The food was fantastic as was our server Shelby! This was the first time we tried Limani and decided to go for some drinks and appetizers since we had a large lunch. Although it is a bit pricier than average, the quality and size were great. We will definitely be back! We also got the galaktoboureko, which was completely different from the traditional custard pie, but the table side presentation and overall dish was incredible.

    Extremely limited menu for Mother’s Day of all days. No flexibility. Extremely expensive for the value offered. Not a good experience. We’ve loved coming here in the past and it’s a nice menu, but not today. Huge let down. Dessert portions were laughable and coffee should have at least been included!

    Hands down worst brunch I have ever experienced! $65 for 2 eggs on a piece of bread, salad that consisted of lettuce, shaved carrots, and cold packaged salmon (like you can purchase at Publix in the packages). Desert was a tiny slice of nut bread……. One and done at Limani!

    Mother's day brunch, price fixe for $65 per person. I expected much more for what we thought would be an event. Choice of 4 or 5 breakfast dishes, two salads, and a dessert. I don't know about other people, but waffles with bacon followed by a Greek salad is both a little strange and definitely not worth $65. The proteins available on the small menu were eggs, bacon, smoked salmon and nothing else. Our reservation was after 12pm and there were no lunch style items on the menu other than the two salads. Disappointing to say the least. If the cost had been $35, I would have said the food was decent and wouldn't have felt ripped off. The space was beautiful and the service was pretty good.

    It's my third time at Limani, but this time for brunch to treat my mother, and the quality of the food compare to its price was surprisingly disappointing. The pancakes texture was too dense and hard to eat. Overall the brunch "special" wasn't worth $65 (terrible pancakes, modest salad, and a very modest dessert, and a glass of mimosa, tax and gratuity excluded). Limani accustomed me with better menus (aka vour normal lunch menu with starter/entree dessert choice for $30). The lack of sea food option during this brunch for a sea food place was quite unfortunate. I believe it might be best to avoid this place for brunch and get the a la carte menu for dinner instead. The staff and service was still exceptional which still differentiate Limani from the other restaurants in my opinion.

    The most Beautiful restaurant in Southpark! Great service Mother’s Day menu was not great. It can definitely be better due to the amazing ambiance and Mediterranean menu of the restaurant. I’ve been before and love this place but the “fixed menu” is a no go for myself and our party.

    LIMANI is a great place to dine in, great staff and the food is next level as always. We enjoyed the evening tremendously. Only complaint is it is sooo loud inside it is hard to hear others or the staff.

    The food was decent, but the service was absolutely horrible. After we were seated we waited over 20 minutes before our server even greeted us. The only reason we had a drink is because we had to wait at the bar quite a while before being seated. I will say my colada was AMAZING. But that was the only part of the experience that was really enjoyable. I was so disappointed. And what’s worse is we were there for my husband’s birthday. I wouldn’t go back.

    We ordered 2 appetizers that came out in a timely fashion and were both tasty. From there the experience went down hill quickly . We waited almost 2 hours for our entrees to come which were not worth the anticipation . Tuna was over cooked, tasteless and the other entrees were reminiscent of cuisine from the 1990’s- unseasoned veggie medley that comprised of a piece of steam broccoli, cauliflower , and a carrot . Meal was overpriced , tasteless and service was a disaster . The bathrooms had no soap, toilet paper and trash cans were overflowing with garbage - for a high priced establishment it was eye opening .
