   When we came was relatively new so still were working out some of the kinks with service. The food was good but the price reflects it. The atmosphere is nice with light colors and a casual setting environment.

   They will not remain open with the service that we received last night. Reservation was at 7:30, they didn’t have a table ready. The waiter didn’t take our order for food until 8:25. The food arrived 10 till 9.

   We treated ourselves to a lovely dinner last night at Limani to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Everything was wonderful! The cocktails, food, service, and atmosphere. Thank you for a special evening, we will definitely be back soon.

   Was excited to try this new spot but it was a massive miss. Too loud to talk or think, staff was rude and terrible service. Food was expensive and not good at all; lacking all quality and flavor. The salmon and fries were good, that was it. Manager was nice enough to notice the food hadn't been eaten and took it off the bill without asking. Will not go again nor would recommend

    Excellent service with well trained staff and professional. Most of the choices were very good, but somewhat disappointed in the Dover Sole quality and presentation. And especially when compared to Bentley’s in South Park Piedmont area. Wait time for our entrees was too long after the appetizers had been cleared.

    Love the setting, menu and great wine list. Excellent variety of seafood (and meat) and unique Mediterranean dishes. Finally there is something different than Italian or Southern in Charlotte! This is a very high end, expensive restaurant, with well trained servers. Grouper, branzino were perfectly cooked. Tomato cheese appetizer dish was very interesting, with large, fresh sliced tomatoes with Greek style cheese. Limani chips were nice and crispy. Fried cheese was just ok,but interesting. All the appetizers were large enough to share with 4 people. Baklava dessert was excellent and very different-sort of deconstructed which helped it not to be so syrupy sweet as most are. Servers try very hard to please. We like the vibe here, but you have to be ok with it being extremely loud. May try sitting at the bar or ask for a corner table next time in order to hear our table mates and servers. We are not hard of hearing, but the venue doesn’t have any sound buffers, which makes it incredibly loud when all tables are occupied. Will still come back for the great food and to try more items on the menu. Glad they came to Charlotte, but hope they’ll figure out how to buffer the noise.

    Birthday celebration! Ambiance was amazing, love the vibe & decor! Wine selection available for all pallets. A good variety of small plates for to try various dishes and loved them all - mushroom soup, cauliflower. Fritters, fried oysters, were all amazing. Paired with a cab Sauvignon was on point. The Tres leches amazing.

    This was our first visit to Limani, but it won’t be our last! Every dish we had was simply outstanding. The wine choice is excellent, the warm, attentive service and the beautiful atmosphere were impeccable! We had an absolutely wonderful experience and our expectations were surpassed on every level.     Limani was incredible. Never had such good Greek food and will definitely be back to try more items. Forgot to photograph the blue point oysters, octopus, and halumi cheese appetizers because we wasted no time on them. Bartender was so welcoming that we decided to stay there entire meal. Im bad with names, but she said she was from California. Entire staff was gracious and hospitable. My new favorite restaurant.

    Beautiful elegant restaurant. The staff was very attentive from the moment we walked in. The cuisine was outstanding. There were 4 of us we got the lightly fried zucchini chips, the octopus, the calamari, lobster pasta and fresh fish. It was all prepared perfectly!! We will be back to try more delicious sounding dishes!!

    2nd time visiting Limani for dinner. As before, food is very good. Service, as before, leaves something to be desired. A real hierarchical place with by my count 4 levels of waitstaff. The two most junior are just fine - polite and professional. The more senior wait staff (the 'captains' in white coats; and up a notch, the guys in ties) seem to be available mostly when it suits them. Waits for drinks, for refills, for desert menus, for the bill -- are all longer than they should be. With its other locations, so far, only in NY and Boston, you'd think they would have a pretty sophisticated service model, but not here. It's like they want to be a very high end restaurant but don't really have all the right ingredients.

    Great experience and food. Had Greek “Sauvignon Blanc” with several generously sized appetizers- grilled octopus, ceviche, Limani chips, lemon potatoes. Beautiful environment with lots of big windows and comfortable spaces. Energetic vibe and well appointed furnishings. Friendly and helpful staff. Managers are attentive and oversee operations across dining areas. One manager, Mr. Lopez, was especially helpful and brings a wealth of experience from his prior work at NYC Limani. Can’t wait for our next visit to continue trying rest of menu.

    Dinner was really good overall but the extra charges really ruined things at the end. Three dollars a piece for a large ice cube in a $16 cocktail that was okay. Extra charge for pita bread when there wasn’t enough to finish the hummus. I expect more from a place like this. The first few appetizers came out quickly but then we waited nearly 30 minutes for the saganaki which was only barely edible. Over salted mushrooms would have been even better with less salt. Good atmosphere and decent service.

    Had lunch here with a friend. The interior is just gorgeous & was a lovely backdrop for a nice meal. Service was very good…friendly & attentive without impeding conversation. The food was the highlight: my lentil soup was delicious & the arugula salad was filling, although I would prefer more chèvre and less arugula. (The dressing was tasty & it paired well with the soup). It is a pricey lunch for Charlotte but I’m willing to pay for excellent food and service. (They do offer a price fix lunch at $30 that includes 3 courses.) I have celiac disease and appreciated their menu offered gluten-free safe options. Will definitely be back!

    I saw great reviews for Limani so I thought we would try it. We got a reservation for 4 about three weeks ahead of time. When we arrived, we were put at a table in the bar right in front of the bathrooms, not in the main dining room. Same menu though. Dinner was good, not great. Waiter recommended the Limani chips. $22. Good, but nothing special. Dinners were good, but again, not special, yet the price was high for what you got. Fish came with no sides, so we ordered a side of broccoli. Steamed broccoli. No spice, little flavor. The restaurant is very pretty, but just being in Phillips Place doesn't call for higher than normal prices for basic fish preparations. Disappointing. Won't go back and won't recommend.

    Absolutely the most beautiful restaurant ever! The Mediterranean food was scrumptious (loved the Black Sea Bass!!) and the service was attentive and timely. Can’t wait to return- and soon!!

    The food was amazing and the place is absolutely beautiful. It took us at least 20 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation, but the place was packed, so it was understandable. I’d definitely go back, it is now one of my favorite places to eat in South Park.

    I ordered the 64$ Dover sole, when it came I had no utensils and it took so long to get them, the fish was cold. We ordered a cocktail and it showed up with the check.
